Have a Groovi Day! Not 20 but 25 WINNERS…

Hi there.
Thanks for popping in.
I do hope you are warm and dry?
The roads aren’t bad round here today, but it is very cold!
Farmer Dave says he reckons it will warm up at the weekend.
I do hope so. There’s a lot riding on the weather this weekend.
Like 7 hours of LIVE TV show in Peterborough, and 100 people coming to Tunbridge Wells for the Retreat!!
But I am not going to panic yet.
We will look at it again tomorrow.
In the meantime, remember we had a little Giveaway with the

Thank you to everybody who left a lovely comment. You have no idea how good it felt. I hadn’t realised how tense my shoulders were! Been getting a bit of a battering from another quarter, and so it was comforting to get a virtual pat on the back.
Anyway, I will leave it there today.
Got a lot of work on at the moment.
If you are wondering about the retreat and the weather, so are we!
But let’s not panic prematurely. It’s only Thursday, and I’m on speed dial to God. If I hear anything I will let you know immediately.
Love & Warm Hugs,
Barb

  1. Congratulations to all of the lucky winners! I have no doubt that you will all enjoy that beautiful new plate! Keeping everything crossed for you Barb, regarding the weather! Mind you – your Speed Dial people are most impressive! Please never doubt that we all love you and Clarity and everything that you do for us all! Love and hugs, Gilly xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends – keep safe and warm again today. It's still snowing here. Neill has been out to battle with the elements for food. Our lovely gardener has called in to move some logs from the bottom of our garden to our log store, bless him!We didn't ask him to do this! We have adopted him – he is a handsome young Portuguese man! He is now tucking in to Bacon sandwiches in front of our fire. Love and hugs, Gilly xxx

    2. Hi Gilly. It's good to have people like that isn't it. We haven't been out since Monday, snow about 6-8 inches here and we have a cracked windscreen on our 3 month old 4×4 thanks to a stone so daren't use it unless an emergency. There hasn't been a gritter within 2 miles of us so they can't get to us at the moment with a new one. One neighbour got us some shopping yesterday and another has offered tomorrow so I think Brian will go with him and see what's in the shops. Stay warm xx

    3. Hi Gilly,
He sounds like a wonderful young man – very thoughtful. It restores faith in humans when you hear how kind most people are. Stay safe and warm, love and hugs to you both, Alison xx

    4. Hi Gilly, your gardener sounds amazing, lovely that there are so many kind people around. Bet he enjoyed his bacon buttie. Stay safe and warm Gilly. Love and hugs Pam xx

    5. Hi all – yes Dario is a lovely young man and he calls me Mother, bless him. He sorted the logs and had a very long chat with Dad (Neill) and enjoyed his cups of coffee & his bacon buttie very much. We have now just got back from buying some coal – so we are all sorted now. Glad you are all safe and warm xxx

  3. So pleased to have won a plate, thank you.
When I was teaching we always said it was only the minority who complained and the majority were just quietly happy and came to us with any issues in a positive way which made them so much easier to resolve.
It's good to have your spirits lifted by others so just keep on relying on this lovely community as well as those who work with and for you xx

    1. Hi Chris,
Lucky you! Enjoy playing with your plate. Weather awful here due to start snowing heavily again in an hour so not looking forward to that. Good to know that others are looking out for you. Stay safe and warm, love and hugs Alison xxxx

  4. Congratulations to all who won! I’m sat in doctors waiting room while hubby has his COPD rewiew. Then it will be home and staying in! Not too much snow here and roads are ok but -4 and darn chilly ! Keep safe everyone ! X

  7. Congratulations to all who won. Enjoy creating lovely projects with it.
Another snow day today. The red warning has just ended here, but still snowing! A day of Netflix and crafting.

  8. Good morning Barbara
Still snowing here in South Yorkshire but did manage to get out for my grey hair covered and a quick cut just in case I can get to the retreat . main roads are not bad it's the estate that is bad
Ant way what will be will be

  9. Thank you for pulling my name out of the hat. Maybe, it is a good omen for the weather for travelling. Anyway, I am continuing to prepare and pack. Got lots of high energy snacks and will have loads of hot drinks, blankets and other emergency kit, just in case. We are close to a red warning for today, which could be blizzard or nothing. We will get what comes. It is winter, after all. xxx Maggie

    1. Well done Maggie! I know you'll enjoy your little prize!
I hope you're keeping safe and warm and that it clears up enough for you to travel safely to Tunbridge! Xxx

  10. Hi Barbara
I'm embarrassed to call our light covering snow when you see what the rest of the country has. I do hope Dave his right though as you've got such a busy weekend ahead of you. I'm so glad we were able to give you a big groovi hug and pat on the back, people just don't think of the hurt they cause with negative comments. Congratulations to all the lucky winners, I hope you have fun playing.
    Love Diane xxx

    1. Hi Diane – we have got a light covering here too but it is still snowing heavily and the forecast says it will continue through the night. Love and hugs Gilly xxx

  11. Congratulations to all the lucky winners and I'm sure you will all enjoy using this pretty plate. We are on red alert here in Somerset and expecting high winds and heavy snow later today, I just hope that we don't loose power, but maybe it won't be as bad as we are anticipating. x

  12. Thank you lots and lots. Yay I'm a lucky happy bunny. I assume we need to contact the office with details. Wow am gobsmacked.still snowing in Raunds(just down the road from Hochanda). Roz and I having a groovi time. Xxx

  13. Hi Barb,
Congratulations to the lucky winners – enjoy playing!
I'm pleased you got so many lovely comments and that they gave you a much deserved lift. The weather here is dreadful with drifting snow, so it's another crafty day for me. Sending love and hugs to you and Dave, Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
If you are a lucky winner, congratulations – I'm not jealous or anything! Hope you are all safe and warm in this dreadful weather. We were supposed to be having a smart meter fitted today but we cancelled it as they would never have got onto our estate! Love and hugs to you all, Alison xxx

    2. Hi Alison – make sure you stay in and keep safe as you don't want to have any problems when your appointment comes through. Just keep crafting and working your way through all those plates. I liked my last card so much I am going to do a batch of them with slight variations for some birthday cards. For a Groovi card it was quite quick. So it should enable me to get ahead. Just love Tina's diagonal grid patterns. Very therapeutic to do. Love and hugs Gilly xxx

  14. Oh wow, I've won, thank you for your generosity Barbara. I must say you deserve all those lovely comments. I hope they go a long way to dismiss the few negatives you get. Do hope that the weather doesnt spoil your weekend and that the retreats don't get cancelled after all your preparations, will be talking to God too on your behalf, stay safe and warm . Love and hugs Pam

  15. Hi bloggy friends, thinking of you all especially the people with the heavy snowfalls. We aren't too bad here at present, it's just flurries but more is forecast tonight and tomorrow. Congratulations to all who won the pretty Groovi plate, better luck next time to those who didn't. Stay safe and warm everyone. Love & hugs Pam xx

    1. Hi Pam – enjoy your new plate. So pleased for both you & Chris. Good that your weather isn't too bad at the moment. Hope Pete is getting on ok. Is he bored yet? Love and hugs to you both, Gilly xxx

  16. Thank you so much, I was so surprised to see my name in the list. Will speak to Jeannine in a bit as lines are busy at the moment !! Stay safe & warm everyone & I hope you can all make it to the retreat on Monday.

  17. So excited to have won!!! Not been the best of weeks up until now as Husbands op has been cancelled again. Thank you so much it has made me smile 🙂

  18. Congratulations one and all, as for speed dial we could do with a bit of a let up in the snow it's absolutely dire up here in the North East, buses aren't even reaching our village at the moment and as for getting my car out of it's garage…not a hope in hell of that happening, no sense in putting self or others at risk! I know I'm not alone in this so my thoughts go out to everyone in similar situation please take care, stay warm! xxx

  19. Well done to all the lucky winners. I am anxiously watching weather and hoping roads will be clear. I am preparing as if it is all going to happen and have until 3pm Saturday to make a decision on the hotel booking. A lot can change before then. We are getting off very lightly at the moment. Stay safe on your roads. xx

  20. Thank you so much for picking out my name. I am looking forward to recreating that lovely card.
Still marooned here, our lane is like an ice rink and no cars have made it down to the main road. Doesn’t matter anyway as the road is closed, presumably because with all the cars abandoned on the hill the gritters couldn’t get through. Snowing hard now but supposed to turn to rain when storm Emma arrives. The radio has just given out flood warnings for Mounts Bay during the storm, glad we are well above sea level. Keep safe and warm everyone xx

  21. Congratulations to all the winners who won the plate . Im going to order one now as I see they are on sale thank you barbara.
Hope the weather improves for the retreats and 7 hour shows for you all xxx

    1. Hi Sheila, my lovely – I hope that you are able to do a little bit of Groovi at the moment. Enjoy using your new plate. Lots of love and caring hugs, Gilly xxx

  22. Hello Barbara

OMG! I know three people on the list (properly know, not just facebook friends).
Well done everyone, it is a lovely plate.

Barbara, it is supposed to be turning to rain by Sunday. Knowing how the weather in this country is so changeable that is not out of the question. I am more concerned with Paul's journey to Colemans on Saurday.

    Love Roz xxx

  23. Well done to everyone who won. We have had a snow day today and I'm not sorry not to be driving in this weather. Well done to all at Clarity for managing to keep going. Looking forward to Sunday!

  24. Yippee I'm a winner, thank you so much. Hardly any snow in Liverpool, what we had is nearly all gone and hopefully we won't get any more. Very cold though, quite windy too, brrrr . Perfect day to get your Groovi on!

  25. Thank you Barbara Gray and everyone at ClarityStamp I’m so happy 😁😂😁 and filled to the brim with joy and bubbliness!!!
    How lucky am I 😍🤩😍
    Congratulations to all 🌟💐🌟

  26. Well done to everyone that won!
Fingers crossed for the weather to be kind to everyone and allow all the hard work and planning to happen! Safe travelling to everyone.
    Love and hugs Xxxx

  27. Congratulations to all the winners! You are very generous Barbara, even increasing the number of plates, so thank you. Well, another day of freezing weather and snow ahead. The schools are closed today, so my granddaughter is at home and eager to play in the snow. I shall be walking to the shop for a couple of things, as the roads haven’t been cleared and are horrendous. Will also check to see if my elderly neighbour needs anything, as she can’t get out. Otherwise staying warm and practising my picot cutting. Thanks again for the great video on Tuesday. I will get there eventually! Annette X

  28. Hello Barb, I am sure that all the winners are over the moon. Well done to you all and enjoy creating. I hope and pray that the weather improves for the retreat and tv shows to go ahead. Take care everyone. Bx
