Great Entertainment – From New York to Hochanda!

Great Entertainment – From New York to Hochanda!

Hi there.
Thanks for popping in.
It’s been great hanging out with Grace. Boy! Have we talked!
Got so many things sorted – both of us.
But let me tell you about Hamilton.
We went to the Matinée yesterday, and it was without doubt the most exciting, powerful, gripping performance I have EVER been to. It wasn’t the original cast, but I have to tell you, this cast was spectacular. Can it actually get any better?
We laughed, we cried, we were shocked, we cheered.
The English King was hilarious, the rap infectious, the dance so polished and perfect.
Twenty out of ten, and I’ll be back again.
I already decided that my Musicman Dave has to experience this. He won’t believe it!
So yes. If you can go, don’t hesitate.
It’s on in London now too. I mean, I am glad to have seen it in New York, because the whole stage is set in New York; it was born here.
But I’m pretty sure the cast in London will blow your mind too.
Tomorrow, I head back to England, but we still have a whole other day together first! Before we step out into the city,
(1 minute walk from Macy’s in Herald Square)
I must tell you about Maria’s TV show Wednesday too!
She will be showcasing some lovely Groovi plates,
just perfect for Mother’s Day and Easter – and birthdays, and weddings, and Christenings and and and …
Here are a few superb art samples by our lovely ladies again.
Jane Telford

Maggie Byford

Louise Goldin
Josie Davidson
Dee Paramour

Glynis Whitehead
Linda Page
These lovely images also come in stampsets too.

Maria will be on Hochanda at 12noon and 4pm Wednesday
There are some great offers on the shows, so I do hope you can join her!
Love & Hugs,

  1. Your experience of Hamilton sounds amazing. I so want to see it. Perhaps we could do it for daughter's hen weekend in London.
Love the samples, particularly the stamped ones. I am back into stamping just now and getting messy with my inks.

  2. Thanks for the advice about Hamilton, I wish Fred would go to musicals but he is not keen. I have to wait til one of my children takes me,so fingers crossed. Enjoy your last day with Grace. Tempting me again with gorgeous products, the samples as usual are wonderful. xx

  3. Beautiful new plates using some existing stamp images, so a great conversion to Groovi, and with some pretty extra images too. Glad you had a great time at Hamilton and enjoy the rest of your time with Grace. x

    1. Hi bloggy friends – I hope you are all as well as can be. My friend took me out for a farewell lunch today. Only 2 more days before we set off across Spain. Love and hugs to you all, Gilly xxx

  4. Hi Barb,
Sounds as though you had a fabulous time at Hamilton – gave you a real buzz I can tell. Can’t watch Maria’s shows tomorrow as we’re up in Scotland and will be out and about. Fortunately, I have all of these plates and love them. The samples are brilliant as ever. Enjoy your last day with Grace and have a safe journey home. Love and hugs Alison xx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
We are up in Scotland for 3 nights and have to say the weather is extremely wild tonight! We went down into the village after dinner and nearly got blown down the lane! Coming back up we were walking into the wind which was horrendous! The only good thing was that 2 years I had to stop 3 times going up the hill in good weather, today got up without stopping and have done it twice today! The gym training is obviously having some effect! Sending love and hugs to you all, Alison xxx

    2. Hi Alison – your weather sounds interesting! Pleased to hear that you are coping with the hill better – mind you, you have worked very hard in both the gym and the pool. I hope that you get to have your op very soon. Take care. Love and hugs, Gilly xxx

  5. Wow! Feeling ever so slightly envious of your fantastic theatre trip – Hamilton in New York clearly gave you a buzz! There's something special about live theatre, isn't there! Mum and I used to go to London at least once a year, fitting in two or three shows each trip, but, what with one thing and another, we've got out of the habit. However, I'm looking forward to taking her to see War Horse in Bradford next month.

  6. Hi Barbara, so glad you are enjoying your time in New York with Grace. The show sounds amazing, maybe we'll get to see it in London, not too keen on rap though. The new plates look really good so do the samples, l have the stamps and love them. Enjoy the rest of your time there, safe journey home Barb. Love and hugs Pam xxx

  7. Hi Barbara
Sounds like you had a wonderful time, I will look out for the play as it sounds interesting. Love the new groovi plates, Lilly of the valley is a firm favourite here as it was in my wedding bouquets, my cousin loves freesias and my friend has just had daffodils in her wedding bouquet so I think these might come my way at some stage. I have the stamps of the Lilly of the valley. The samples are beautiful, well done team. Enjoy your day with Grace.
    Love Diane xxx

  8. Hello! I saw Hamilton in London three weeks ago having had the tickets for over a year! It was fabulous, it really was. I have no hope of going to New York to see it but I have to say the cast here were STUNNING!!! Heard some Americans saying they thought they were better than New York but that have been beacuse they were in London, who knows? Anyway, it is awesome show, see it if you can! x
