Back in Blighty.

Back in Blighty.

Hi there!
Thanks for popping in.
Back in blighty, after a very long drive from Frankfurt in torrential rain. Fortunately, I had Rosie for company, which was fun.
Dave and Paul were in the van, which we faithfully tailed all the way. We got to Calais with minutes to spare and cruised straight onto the train.
But now, having taken my boots off and had a brew, I have to say,
enough is enough.
Tomorrow, after a good nights sleep, I’ll take a look at things with a clear head, and make a new plan of action.
But tonight, I’m done. Done in and done for!

But let me leave you with a snippet on a super duper scooter.
I want one of these!!!!

Love & Hugs,
Barb
xx

  1. Hi Barbara
Glad you are home safe and sound, it's better having someone with you when you have a long drive isn't it. Hope you can relax and unwind and sleep well tonight. Love the video, oh yes you need one of them haha.
    Love Diane xxx

  2. Hi Barb,
Glad you're home safe and sound. Bet you had a few giggles with Rosie for company. Can see you on one of those scooters- bye bye blisters! Mind you if it was me, I'd probably break my neck when I fell off!! Have a restful day tomorrow, love and hugs Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Hope you're all as well as you can be. Very cold here today with a few snow flurries. Had a good day today – managed to get 6 more ' spare' cards made – my stamp platform came in handy – made some lovely mushroom soup, then tidied up my little craft room so that I can play with my Pebeo paints tomorrow. Love and hugs Alison xxxx

  3. Glad you have arrived home now, apart from feeling knackered..lol, but all OK Barbara. I love your improvised scooter, that would be so useful. x

  4. Good to know everyone home safe, not surprised you're 'done'! Hope you have a good sleep and feel a little more 'human' in the morning xx

  5. Hello Barb, glad that you all got home safely despite the weather. Hope you have had a lovely and peaceful night. Love the scooter snippet. Take care all. Bx

  6. Poor Barb, you'll soon feel more like it again!!
If it will cheer you up, I can tell you that I finally bought a Groovi plate yesterday. Never had one before, but Paul let me have a play with one at Leyburn last year (oo-er Mrs) and I've been 'umming and 'ahhing ever since.
    Love
    Maggie (Yorkite)

  7. Now that scooter could be very useful. My grandson makes me laugh as he is determined to buy me a mobility scooter when he is older. Because I have a dodgy leg he thinks I will need one. Bless him. Welcome back, long drive. xx
