Purple Sea.
Hi there.
Thanks for popping in.
Day 3. Tick.
Just had a lovely day with a lovely group,
and now it’s time for supper.
Here we are, following Dirty Dave.
We don’t actually know him.
It’s not my Dave, but Rosie decided we ought to investigate.
What’s she like?!
On the subject of Dirty, here’s a mop up off the brown craft mat from yesterday. Mel suggested it, so I rolled a load of Viva Decor paint over the craft mat and then pulled it off onto copy paper.
Very cool.
Now I have got precisely 30 minutes to do this ’ere blog,
so ’ere goes!
Out with the boy….
Black Archival ink.
Wrap around a 6″ x 6″ Canvas board.
Done
This is delightful now.
Looks like a purple sea, with the sun setting in the distance,
and the reflection off the water.
Gotta go.
Love & Hugs,
Barb

Loving the 'leftovers'! Happy to hear it's been a good day, enjoy your supper and tell Rosie she could get herself arrested…stalking strange men indeed! Xx
Love this use of what would normally be thrown away turning it to an atmospheric picture. Glad the retreats are going well, enjoy the rest of the week.

For you? So simple. For me? Nigh on impossible! I just don't see the possibilities like you do, Barbara, but I do keep on trying. I have a box full of scraps to practise on!!😀 Hope you continue to have a great week. Mxx
Wow. That's amazing and very inspirational
I use this stamp with mop up sheets frequently and it always seems to work. So looking forward to Sunday and Monday. It's my first retreat.
Lovely. Love the way you always spot the scene in the background not too sure I would. It has been a brilliant day thoroughly enjoyed all the projects and looking forward to tomorrow. x

Beautiful. Thanks for a fabulous day, even if I made a total hash of the ……. Not a problem because I learned loads, and will do it again. xxx Maggie
Purple is one of my favourite colours, looks like a calm evening after a storm. I wish I had your imagination xx
Great
Hi Barb,
Glad today has been a success – never doubted it myself! How can you produce something as lovely as this with a piece of scrap, that's what I want to know!! Your favourite stamp never fails does it? I think you should Groovi him too. Have a good night , love and hugs Alison xx
Hi bloggy friends,
Hope today has been as good as possible for you all. Been a funny day, warm ( muggy) but dull, then this afternoon hot and sunny, about an hour ago started raining ( again) , apparently might thunder as well. Think tomorrow might be a play day, (don't know whether stamps or Groovi) after we've been to the pool. Love and hugs, Alison xx
All packed and ready to fly, but only just remembered to print off the car hire details and my DVLA code thing – why is it so complicated these days? Just one more round of guest breakfasts and room cleaning tomorrow, a visit from the plumber to try to sort out a mains water leak outside, and then I'll see you on Friday xxx
Beautiful! xxx
Wonderful! Love it! It never ceases to surprise me that gelli mop-ups often turn into such lovely pieces of artwork!
