Makes me feel better anyway.
Control the controllable is the name of the game.
So much time, work, energy and money has gone into the TV shows tomorrow, unless I have no alternative,
I can’t just hand it over and walk away.
Had it been next weekend, that would have been a different story.
You understand.
So…
Been prepping the Sunday/Monday TV Show.
You know, the rather dapper Gentleman’s Collection I was twittering on about the other day:
So I was going through the art samples from the Groovi Design Team.
You know, that most talented spiffing bunch of Groovi Parchers
in the world!
Well! Golly Gosh and Jeepers!
It just stopped me in my tracks!
Give them a set of Groovi plates to work with and –
You just cannot believe what they come up with.
Whilst we try to show off all the samples during the show, things don’t always work out as we had planned, and the artwork doesn’t get the credit it deserves, although we’re working on that!
Aye Aye – MORE WILL BE REVEALED….
So I thought I would treat you to just a few of their masterpieces here. I am sure they won’t mind being showcased for you to enjoy. Just a few mind. Don’t want to give the whole show all away!

Just the few samples here brings tears to my eyes ! Absolutely marvelous, and, as you said, I could be locked away for rest of my life and not come up with anything half as good. Me and hubby always say we don't have the vision that others do. That's why I always say we need others for inspiration.

Stunning work as always I am always in awe of what everyone produces. Who knows how the DT come up with these ideas but so grateful and thankful that they always do. I know the show must go on but please, all of the Clarity team, take care of yourselves too xx

Hi Barbara, what do you mean you didn't see that coming, re us all caring and wanting to help and support in any way we can?! I so wish I could implant in your head the real reality, in place of the reality according to Barb!!! You've got it a bit skew-whiff methinks! WE LOVE YOU BARB, WE STAND BY YOU, AND WITH YOU. Those who moan, hurt you, rip you to shreds are that far in the minority that they don't even register on the scale. Honestly. And, it's not about you, they are going to be like that to anyone they can get the chance to do it to. What sad miserable lives they have eh! Love wins you know, it truly does. Glad to hear you can focus on and feel the waterfall of love pouring your, Tina, Steve, Grace's way from here.
I get you totally re controlling the controllable, your need for it, and how it helps in the sea surrounding you of everyone's health issues that you are feeling helpless to do anything about. I was thinking TV shows could be a good distraction for you too, far healthier for your head than sitting worrying 24/7 and thinking of nothing else. I'll be watching/recording your shows tomorrow and Monday. Obviously can't record your 8pm show, and if loads of people go online to watch it, my slower broadband could be shoved out the queue for the big boys. If so I will watch you on catch up at a quieter time if their website allows me to. Wee lightbulb moment, each month would you consider demoing your 8pm ones on here please for us freeview viewers?
Brilliant samples, thanks for teasing, erm showing us!!! There you go again, underestimating yourself, your parchment skills and talent has moved on masses since you started, leaving quite a lot of us in your wake trying to play catch up with you…. Please turn that negative, I'm nae use, head into the positive, loving, caring, thoughtful, would help anyone and does, very talented, one of the world's special special people head that you are. I look forward to seeing what you show us.
My happy post came this morning, but not had a chance to look properly and read it yet, a wee treat for later. All beautiful designs, as always. I love your clubs apart from the obvious, as I would never be thinking outside the box, and stretching myself if I had never joined. I'd still be stuck in a rut, with my rigid thinking, and doing the same over and over. Now I'm taking my first tentative steps outside my comfort zone, AND (in disbelief) liking my first attempts, and seeing them as a lot better than I ever imagined I could achieve even after endless tries! That's you Barbara, you've unlocked this for me. I know it's taken me long enough, but hopefully now I can keep going and building on it, with all the teaching and inspiration you give me, and different club goodies we get. Before I joined a few years back, I thought I'd try it for a year, thinking I would get a lot of stamps I wouldn't use. How wrong was I, Diamond member, and now relish the challenge and learning that different to my norm goodies give me. Just need to find a way to better utilise my time each day, so I can try everything out now. Failed so far, any ideas how I do that very welcome!!!! Huge thank you from me Barbara. You have enhanced me and my quality of life way beyond what you are aware of xxxxxxxxxxxx

My dearest Barb, will you stop selling yourself short. You are loved and respected by that many of us that you could never imagine how many. From someone who can't even draw a matchstick man I am in awe of your artwork it's fantastic and you are a fabulous teacher. We are always our own worst critics and never think that it's as good as someone else's but you my dear Barb have no need at all to even consider that, you are a fantastic artist. To me and many people you are not just the owner and manger of a stamp company and when you are hurt or worried about something we feel it to. Good luck tomorrow, have seen a peek of the new plates by Tina and they look fantastic! The ODS will sadly have to go on my wish list this month as I have Fathers day and a birthday to spend on…unless I can get them for his birthday and just tell him it's time to try a new hobby!! XX

What beautiful samples from the design team, their talent is amazing. I love the ballon plates and the skyline and the plane and Paris background, the top hat is great too…. oh what choices!! I must remember to put you on record just in case we go out for a walk in the afternoon. Safe journey to Hachanda, I'm sure the plates will fly out the building, they are perfect for Father's Day. Hello lovely blog friends, we've been enjoying the subshine again today before the weather breaks again on Monday. We went out for a lovely walk, got back to the gate and we had recorded 9104 steps, I'm walking backwards and forwards to the kitchen to get things so hopefully should make the 10k before bedtime!!
