Tina Cox – Extraordinary Talent.

Tina Cox – Extraordinary Talent.

Hi there!
Thanks for popping in.
Well, I’ve pretty much ticked all the boxes for the TV shows tomorrow and Monday. 8 hours live television.
Thanks goodness lovely Tina is in the Groovi driver’s seat for the first 2 at 2-4pm.
You may have seen her spectacular design last month,
although it sold out so quickly, we have promised to bring it back tomorrow…..
We call it Tina’s 3-D Flowers and Butterflies Plate.
Looks as beautiful in whitework
as in colour.
And when you see what Tina actually DOES with these little images, well….
She is going to show us how to colour with Pergacolors tomorrow.
I hope you can join us.

She also has something very new and exciting tomorrow:
A Beautiful little handbook,
to help us use the first of her pattern grids.

This ii-book (Ideas and Inspiration Book) shows you how to make the most of your Straight Border pattern grid No. 1,
pictured on the back here.
We’ll have the grid and an accompanying basic border grid on the show tomorrow too.
I have been wanting to get to grips with gridwork for ages myself, but haven’t really known where to start.
Well, if the same goes for you,
tune in on HOCHANDA tomorrow at 2pm.
Tina has made it very simple for us.

In the ii-book, Tina take us through every single pattern on the border plate, and breaks it down into chewable pieces for us.
The book is wiro bound too, so it stays open whilst you are following the project instructions.

So that’s the first 2 hours sorted!
2 down, 6 to go !!!
Love & Hugs,
Barb

  5. Hi Barb,
Love Tina's plate – have this already although haven't used it yet. Love the decoupage card that Tina has made – definitely one to try. I am so looking forward to all of the shows and recorder is already set. Been waiting for the book to come out as Tina dropped some hints last year at Tennants when Chris and I were watching her create patterns and she showed us sheets of patterns made from each row of the grid. We were in awe!!! That is definitely on my must have buy list! Good luck for the shows( even though I know you won't need it) love and hugs Alison xx

These are beautiful and the book is an inspired idea. Looking forward to watching, although my granddaughters are having a sleep over so I may have to record Tina's two hours.

  7. Exciting, can't wait for the shows. I find Tina so calming and her explanations are easy to understand. Looking forward to the stamping shows and the Gelli plate show as well. Luckily I have the small gell plates and stencils so my purse will be safe until the ODS at 8pm! XX

    1. Hi Donna,
Think I'm going to strap cushions on and then sit on the floor – even I couldn't fall then!! Thanks for your concern, love and hugs Alison xxx

  8. Bought Tina's flower and butterfly plate and the pergacolors recently, so not used yet, so really looking forward to the shows for some inspiration. Can't wait to see the book too, been waiting patiently, hope you are going to do one for each of the border grid plates in time. Hope you have a great time and safe journey home on Monday.xxx

  9. Hi Barbara
Tina's plate is beautiful and the artwork with the picot cutting and layered flowers is amazing. I'm looking forward to catching the shows tomorrow. I think the book is a must have as a reference point too. I must text my sister in the morning, she bought the pergacoliurs the other day without knowing what to do with them so she needs to watch! Safe journey to you both tomorrow.
    Love Diane xxx

    1. Hi Diane, was lovely here this morning, then poured down this afternoon. Thanks for your concern re knee. Enjoy the shows tomorrow and try to be good! Love and hugs Alison xxx

  10. Hi bloggy friends hope you are all geared up for watching the shows this weekend. The stamps sound intriguing, be great to have Barbara brayering and using inks again.xxx

  11. I bought Tina's flower plate and the pergacolours in the March madness and they arrived last weekend, so I have been playing all week! The housework has been neglected again!
I am new to Groovi and parchment, so my work is still very basic, but I am thrilled with the flowers I have made. My whitework still leaves a lot to be desired, but I am pleased with the effects using pergacolours and Spectrum Noir pencils. Now I must practise whitework and then picot edging. Oh to get results like Tina!
Looking forward to all the shows.

  12. Hi Barb, love the plates, don't have them yet, but no doubt the show will prompt some purchases. Looking forward to all the inspiration today and tomorrow. Travel safely all of you. Bx
