OPEN DAY TICKETS ON SALE NOW

OPEN DAY TICKETS ON SALE NOW

Hi there !
Thanks for popping in.
It’s been a busy day today.
Getting the projects done for the Stamp, Stencil and Groovi Clubs.
Very happy with what I achieved though, which is always a bonus!
It’s a bit full on at the moment at Clarity.
So what’s new???
It was crazy BP (Before Pergamano).
But now it has seriously gone radio rental ! APE as they say.
(After Pergamano Entered).

Nonetheless, the show must go on.
Following on from last year’s successful Open Days
in Crowborough, near Tunbridge Wells,
we have found an even better, bigger and brighter venue,
just up the road at the lovely Community Centre.

Tickets are limited, so be sure to get yours quickly if you would like to join us.

TO BUY A FRIDAY 16th TICKET, CLICK HERE
TO BUY A SATURDAY 17th TICKET, CLICK HERE
It is our annual celebration of all things Clarity.
We also have another Open Day up north at a fantastic venue:
Tennants Auction Rooms at Leyburn, Yorkshire.
Cor. That really was a day to remember last year.
So much so that we have doubled the size of the room this year.
Those tickets will go on sale later in the year.
If you went to the Clarity Open Days last year,
please tell us what you think below.
You see, for me personally,
the Open Days are the highlight of the working year.
Several of the Design Team members come down here, and stay a couple of days, to teach and demo,
and the whole Clarity crew gets involved.
Hundreds of motivated arty enthusiasts decend on the town,
and there is a wonderful, happy creative vibe.
Well, that’s just my opinion.
What’s yours?
Love & Hugs,
Barb

  1. Sadly it is a bit far for me for the open days but I am really looking fwd to the Retreat the following month!! I know people who do go though and they love them. Xx

  2. Oh how I would love to come to the open days, just check it would take just over 4 hours to get there. One day hopefully! I am sure you will have a wonderful couple of days.
    Hugs
    Linda xxx

    1. Is Leyburn, North Yorkshire not a bit closer to you Linda (I know where you live….ooh don't mean that in a creepy way)? Fab venue and lovely lunches added to the brilliant Clarity Crew…might be worth thinking of!

  3. I have been at Leyburn the past two years, it's a very long drive from central Scotland but it is worth every minute! Such lovely friendly people, lots of advice and fabulous demonstrations. Wouldn't miss it for the world! Ruth x

    1. Probably best to call the office as can't find them on the website…if you do book you won't regret it…my friend and I attended last year (from Newcastle upon Tyne) it was great…we're both really disappointed we can't go this time around!!

  4. I wish I could go to meet you in person but been mostly housebound they are both too far to travel but wish everyone a fantastic time crafting hugs to all xxx

  5. Leyburn was brilliant. Lovely location lovely atmosphere. Full of Clarity demos Clarity products and Clarity fans. Very friendly and mustn't forget the raffles too. Xx

  6. I have booked both days at Crowborough. Barbara, can I ask if there is an arrangement with the hotel again this year. I will be travelling down on the Thursday and coming home on the Sunday. I need both days just to watch everything I want and to meet up with friends. Really looking forward to it. xxx

  7. Hi Barb,
I've been to the last two open days at Leyburn and I'll be there again this year – nothing will stop me. Met up with other people on the blog which was brilliant, spent loads of money on fabulous Clarity products and saw brilliant demonstrations from the hugely talented Clarity experts. All in all an absolutely fabulous day in a wonderful venue. Really looking forward to this year's event, love and hugs Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Hope everyone is better than the weather! Been so cold here today with snow flurries. Saw consultant yesterday and have to wear brace for another 7 weeks and then might still have to have the ligament reconstruction. He's set the brace with a bigger band so it's easier to walk though! Made a couple of cards today – easy ones not Groovi! – so I'm up to date now with all the ones I needed to make thank goodness. Sending love and hugs to you all, Alison xxx

    2. Hi Alison, gosh another seven weeks, at least they've made it more comfortable for you. Lets hope you don't need the reconstruction. Be lovely to see you at Leyburn again but don't know whats happening about my back. Still waiting to see consultant. May have to be spur of the moment if there are tickets left. Love and hugs,Pam xx

  8. Hi Barbara
How exciting, I've never been to an open day but I hope to one day. I'm off to be very nice to my lovely husband, I hope it works although we need to factor in student removals from Scotland and have no idea of the dates yet. Hope you have a relaxing evening.
    Love Diane xxx

    1. Hi Diane, hoping to go to Ally Pally in April do you think you'll be there? As I said to Alison can't make any arrangements as yet, seems you are the same for other reasons. Love and hugs, Pam

  9. Oh what a shame, I will be looking after grandchildren on those dates. I went for the first time last year and enjoyed seeing all the different techniques. It did get a little crowded at times. xx

  10. Hello Barbara, I wouldn't miss the Crowborough Open Days for the world and have just ordered my tickets for the Friday (plus a few other bits and pieces!). I love the event but found the Rugby Club a bit tight for room. I'm not very tall and found it difficult to see some of the demos. Other than that I can't fault it. Lots of goodies to ensure that my bank balance is maintained at a low level(!), nice friendly atmosphere and lovely to see you, Dave and the design team. I just wish other companies treated their customers like Clarity do. I don't want to sound patronising but you really do treat us all as friends rather than customers – hence your loyal band of fans. With my thanks and very best wishes for the future of Clarity/Pergamano. Love and hugs. Rachel X

    1. Hi Rachel, did you notice that the Crowborough open day is at a different venue this year? I think you'll find there is a lot more room so you'll hopefully be able so see the demos a little better. There's a website for the Crowborough Community Centre so you can have a peep and see how big and bright the hall is. I can't get there this year, but from one vertically challenged crafter to another, I hope you have a great time in June. Happy Crafting xx

    2. Hi Judy, thanks for replying. Yes, I did notice the different venue but as Barbara asked for comments I thought I would mention it. I'll look at the website as it will probably tell us how to find the Centre. I love the Open Days but always spend more than I should. It is amazing how things just fall into my basket!! Sorry you can't make it. Happy crafting to you too. Xx

  11. Sorry Barbara, I can't comment on your open days. But I imagine a brilliant time is had by all. You'd have to hold a private open day in my garden for me to be able to attend!!!! Glad you've had a good day, and a productive one.

I was thinking about our Random Acts of Kindness pledges (2 a day, any kindness to anyone, people and animals if anyone wants to join us, please do). Hope everyone is managing to keep going with their RAKS as best they can. Thank you. It got me thinking about Jayne, the kind, gentle, caring soul she always came across as. With our ATC/card "just to brighten your day" RAKS, (we make cards/ATCs, write "just to brighten your day", and hand them out to anyone who looks like they need a wee smile/kindness in their day, please join us and help spread kindness round the world). How about we make a conscious effort to use Jayne's designs where possible? That way we're also keeping Jayne's beautiful soul alive around the world in the form of her artwork and our RAK gestures. Just a thought. Hope I'm not saying anything wrong by suggesting it.

Hope you soon manage to find a better way to keep all your plates spinning Barbara
    Love Brenda xx

  12. I have been to all the Open days in Leyburn with my mum, and absolutely love the vibe, the demonstrations, the interaction with the Clarity crew where no question is to daft and there is a willingness to show a technique. I will book Leyburn again and look forward to it and seeing everyone. X

  13. Sadly have never got to the open days hope to one day but know the wonderful atmosphere at ally pally around the clarity stand and team clarity such a wonderful team it's my high lighter spending time with you all there one day hope to get to open day retreat etc xx

  14. I love love love the Open Days. Great social occasion and learn lots. Chance to ask questions about anything we do not know as well. I enjoy them so much I am doing both days this year with Fred in tow of course. Did I mention that I also spend a small fortune in the Clarity shop. Yes Barbara they are wonderful. x

  15. Yay another date for the calendar! The Open days are great fun. Lots of great demos to watch and Clarity goodies to tempt you. The atmosphere is really buzzy and friendly. You can just feel the enthusiasm and love in the room. It's a great day out. Wxx

  16. Unfortunately I live too far away to come to the open days but I am sure that everyone who gets along has a great time and the Community Centre looks like a very good choice for them, perhaps a little more room than your other venue so more people able to attend. x

  17. Oh Barbara. I and my friend went to Layburn last year what a fantastic day we had.
It is a wonderful venue I even found a little time to have a look at the auction that was going on too.
I know you did too I remember you saying so, And you said that you had, been sitting on a sofa that had been sold not knowing that it was not part of the venues furnishings. Lol
You said it's your highlight of the year well I can honestly say it was mine.
Everyone on the clarity team was so helpful. They engaged, they demonstrated, and encouraged everyone, they answered any questions we had.
it was a truly memorable day and one I shall be repeating this year hopefully. Ohh and you were always forgetting to mention the parchment show in Harrogate when you were on the microphone and tickets were available. Funny the things you remember eh xx

  18. Love the Open Days, been to three up north ones now and last year went to the Crowborough one. Super day out, great demos sometimes short workshops if theres room. Raffles with the most generous prizes on the hour every hour and a chance to ask the team umpteen questions. Everyone including Barbara and the team are all so friendly, lots of humour. Plenty of products to spend your money on, and all for £5 a ticket, who could ask for more. I'll be so disappointed if I can't get to any this year. Love and hugs,Pam xx

  19. Absolutely love it when you all come oop Norf, great to meet the team and watch live demos plus it's lovely to meet up with fellow clarity enthusiasts and catch up with my FB friends in person, just a truly fantastic day, I even plan my holidays around it lol xx

  20. Hi Barb, I bet there are many happy people out there buying up tickets, one day I will be able to make one of the open days, would love to come see the demos, and meet up with all the lovely people. Take care. Bx

  21. I am sure it will be a great success. It's a bit of a trek for me but hope that you might come up to Scotland at some point – you and your team would be welcomed with open arm. That said, I am attending a Clarity workshop being led by Emma Burns and Jo Rice in Giffnock in March and I am looking forward to that immensely. x

  22. Sorry Barbara, will be in France living it up with a friend who lives there with her 7 cats and 1 loud dog, but look forward to knowing the dates of the retreat as thoroughly enjoyed last year

  23. Loved Leyburn lat year, the venue itself has the 'WOW' factor and doubtless they'll know what to expect re catering this time around as I think the staff were a bit overwhelmed last time – lol! The sandwiches were delicious and made to order, so worth the wait! Add to that the Clarity Crew doing fab demos, answering any questions asked and showing more or less anything you asked of them with lovely smiles all day long even tho' they must have been exhausted by late in the day! On top of that Barb as 'Mistress of Ceremonies' doing raffles every hour (the prizes were amazing!) and in her usual manner keeping everyone generally entertained. The easiest way to say it is Fab, Fab, Fab! Can't wait to get our tickets!!!

  25. Can't wait for Leyburn this year. Last year it WAS my holiday and only day out. So it truly was the highlight of my year. I'm still enjoying the memories of that lovely day. xxx
