Jayne’s Pine Branches – Superb

Jayne’s Pine Branches – Superb

Hi there.
Thanks for popping in.
Just a quickie, something I did very quickly on telly yesterday,
using Jayne’s wonderful Poinsettia Stamp Set.
This is so quick,
blink and you’ll miss it.
Stamp pine branch in corner using Library Green Archival once.
Add a couple of little berry bits.
Place a square Post-It.

Repeat the stamping in the other corner.

Piece of cake.

Load Stencil brush with same ink,
and dust across the other two corners.
Back and forth.

Sorted.

Add NOEL, once.
Then again, down and to the left a tad.

Trim card down.
Colour in the berries with pink and red.

Drag the pink Promarker round all 4 edges of the card.

Mount.

Add Stardust shimmer with a Sakura Gel Pen.

Voila.
Time to go watch Paul Church wind up the ONE DAY SPECIAL on Hochanda,
so I can’t hang about  –
He’s on Now!!
Love & Hugs,
Barb

  1. The demos were wonderful and the sample cards absolutely beautiful. Well done to everyone for all that hard work.
The first programme was particularly good and I feel it was because of you and the quiet, lovely presenter. The other programmes were rather spoiled by the constant interruptions from the garrulous presenters. Sorry for maybe a critical remark (I am sure I am not alone) but we do like to hear what you are saying and not the constant item numbers and prices. Still enjoyed watching you and Paul delivering so well with so little time. I will certainly be ordering some goodies for my Christmas stocking.

  2. Hi Barb,
Brilliant step by step for this quickie card – I think even I could manage this! The shows have been brilliant and the samples just simply exquisite. Well done to the whole Clarity crew. Just watching Paul now. Really looking forward to having a play with these plates when they arrive. Have a safe journey home. Love and hugs Alison xx

  3. Beautiful effect. Managed to catch up on watching all the shows. Really inspired by all I saw and frustrated that I have a couple of big bills to pay this week so I couldn't buy any of the plates. However, still got some birthday money to come, so I may yet be able to treat myself.

  4. Hi Barbara, lovely demo, thanks for sharing. Always good to have your telly demos repeated here as it's easier to see close up here, and I can add it to my library. Light bulbs are firing in my head, the possibilities are endless for this technique. And no scary stuff aka gel plate, paint, shading, proper colouring in, unless I choose to. I didn't manage to watch much of your show this morning, fell back asleep watching you, no you didn't bore me, you made me feel chilled!!! 😉 I've missed all Paul's too today. But all recorded so can enjoy watching them soon. Hope you can chill this evening. Love Brenda xx

  5. Really enjoyed you on the telly over the weekend and Paul today. I couldn't resist the 'One Day Special' on Hochanda (you sold it Barb!). Can't wait for it to arrive so I can try out some of the things you did. Thank you! Xx

  6. Hi Barbara, caught the started of a few shows! !!!!!every time I tried to watch someone called and had to go out.
    Good job for catch up.
The new plates look fabulous, so I will be buying at the Nec this week.
Hope your journey I'd a good one.
    Lynn xx

  7. Loved watching this yesterday and appreciate the step-by-step today. Really, really cool for Christmas. Already thinking how to use the technique with different stamps/occasions. Thank you.

  8. Two wonderful days of viewing Barbara. It's not often being laid up on the sofa is a blessing..but this has definitely been the exception. I even managed to persuade hubby, that at least 2 of the plates are essentials…oh dear! was that a 3rd that slipped into my basket? hahaha!
Thank you for so many wonderful new goodies and fantastic examples from a fantastic team. Love and Hugs xxx

    1. Hi Morag, sorry to hear you're under the weather. Trust hubby is providing comfort food/drink as required, and you're cosy wrapped up watching the Clarity clan. I'll be catching up with the programmes over the next couple of days. Aiming to make 40 groovi houses for a car boot sale in a couple of weeks, but miscalculated how long they take! Love and hugs from a cross-eyed Lynne xxx

  9. Hi Barbara
This is beautiful and great to see it as a step by step. It's amazing that it only uses one colour ink and a few promarkers. I've managed to catch a couple of shows today, the new plates are lovely and a good price too. A couple may have slipped into my basket as I ordered a stamp as a Christmas present – whoops. Hope you have a relaxing evening and Paul gets home safe and sound.
    Love Diane xxx

  10. Evening Barbara enjoyed both shows today others are on record to watch tomorrow the design teams samples are stunning love the step by step today .you get some well earned rest xxx

    1. Barbara forgot to ask I've got the groovi sticker pads they are brilliant just wondered if you can leave on the back of my groovi work as I like to leave a bit of sellotape on the back so don't get mixed up which side I'm groovi-I got on . Xxx

  11. I love this artwork. I think because it includes brushing over post-its. As I have said before I like the effect that this gives. On this one I also love the idea of the drop shadow with 'Noel'. I must remember to use it in that way. What a fantastic Sunday and Monday of shows from both of you. Thank you.xx

  12. I saw you do this and thought how lovely it looked and a great bit of masking using these wonderful stamps, quite straightforward but very effective. I saw your first show today but unfortunately didn't manage to see any of Paul's shows. I will have to catch up on those. x

  13. Really glad you did this step by step as I couldn't remember how you did the trick with the post it note. Wanted to use it on Hubby's birthday card, but did it the wrong way round, still looked ok but not how I wanted it. A beautiful card again. Haven't had time today to watch the shows but they're on record so can watch anytime. Safe journey home for you and Paul. Love and hugs, Pam xx

  14. Well done our Bsrb great shows you looked fab don't know why you get yourself all.shwetty but hey I've not got a live camera pointed at me when I'm trying my crafty bits thank God…xx
Take care thanks to Linda and all the Clarity DT team you are all stars…love ..Dot..xx

  15. Loved this demo, thanks for step by stepping it here! Just had to have the wonderful new Groovi plates…so will have to wait for Jayne's gorgeous stamps but can't have it all (unless Lottery comes up trumps!) Paul's doing a great job too xx

  16. Love this simple card. Watched your amazing owl colouring at 2.15 a.m ( just realised nearly 24 hr ago), gorgeous work and sent me off to bed much more relaxed following a lonnnggg evening of groovi houses making. You're so right, you can't hurry it! Looking forward to catching up with other shows soon, delighted the plates etc went flying off the virtual shelves, more for my crimbo wish list! Love and hugs xx

  17. Hi Barbara,
a beautiful and easy made christmas card.
The stamping with the post-its remind me of good old days… of masking.
I should do that again as well…

  18. Love it! Finally have a bit of internet to comment. BT are being a nightmare at the moment – first my TV recording box broke, so I'm still waiting for the replacement (on a Clarity weekend too – boo, hiss), then my internet is playing up on and off. Now waiting for an engineer's visit too. I think they might get their marching orders when the contract is up for renewal! Hope you have a relaxing day after all your hard work at the weekend x

  19. Hi Barb, playing catch up yet again, what a fabulous stamp, and a stunning, yet simple card. Love it. I have lots of shows recorded to catch up on. Take care. Bx
