Baby Tits!

Baby Tits!

Hi there!
Thanks for popping in.
STOP THE CLOCK!!!
Enough is enough.
If it’s not in the boxes, it ain’t coming with me tomorrow!
Whose idea was it to do a One Day Special every month??
I must be blimming mad!
Ah well.
I could think of a lot worse ways to earn a crust!
I am mindful of the fact that a lot of people won’t be able to watch tomorrow because Freeview is down for a few weeks,
so I shall do my best to blog the demos which are worthy of a blog.
I have to say, some of them are pretty basic!
But hey ho. There are a lot of stamping virgins out there too!
Let me show you one of the demos
I have prepped for tomorrow afternoon.
Check out the new Baby Tits!
Our good friend Heather,  said something very interesting yesterday evening.
She is an avid stamper and parcher,
and she said she is delighted that we are converting some of the Claritystamp art to Groovi art, and vice versa.
She said that it was super to be able to do the parchment artwork on the front, and then use the stamps to embellish the inserts and envelopes etc. Her words were “It’s lovely to continue the story right through.”

I’m very happy to hear that, because I was worried that it might be conceived as milking our designs, if you know what I mean.
Mind you, when we start making mugs, T-Shirts and curtains,
I’d say we’re milking it!!!!

So having made a blossom frame, and added a little garden bird
in the front,
I have now added a landscape.

This takes as long as it takes, doesn’t it.
But there’s something immensely rewarding about relaxing in the groove and enjoying the hour.

And if you really really focus, you remember
not to go through the branch with the hills too!
Frame with the Octagon.
The blossom sits in this shape particularly well.

Coloured in with pencils from behind,
and a swirl of yellow with one of our brushes
and some faded Butterscotch.
Time to use the grids.
These really are the cat’s whiskers.
Go right round the outside of the Octagon.

I’m getting better at the picot fussy cutting.
The Pergamano scissors are key,
added to plenty of practice!

Coloured in the bird and leaves and blossoms with pencils,
so that they are opaque.
But I want a little translucency on the hills, so out with the Distress markers.
See how the hills are nicely blended but see through?

There.
Mounted and layered up makes all the difference.

Hope you like it.
I was very happy when it was finished.
Firstly because it was easy on the eye,
and secondly, because it was finished!!!!

See you tomorrow for the marathon.
I hope. I’ll be there – but will you? xxxx

If you only knew how hard everybody at Clarity has been working since Christmas.
It has gone blimming mad!
Can’t I delegate? Yep. I can.
That’s why 25 others are pedalling like crazy now too!
It’s all good.
Most companies dream about having these problems.
Love and hugs.

  1. Hi Barbara – you sound much happier today! I am so pleased about that, and we really do appreciate just how much effort goes into all of this, and so many of us WILL be watching and/or recording! I LOVE this new Groovi plate, and I for one thoroughly approve of you using the artwork that you already have to provide the designs in stamps and Groovi. I hope that it all goes well for you over the next few days, and thank you for such wonderful products – even though you do tend to take so much of our money!! Ha ha! Hugs Gilly x

    1. Hi Sheila, Morag, Donna, Alison, Diane, Pam, Dot, Brenda, Pen, Jackie, Sue57 and Julia – I hope that you are all ok, and have had better weather than we have had today. Cold and pouring with rain for most of the day! I have rested in front of the fire, and sorted out my Craft Bag and put together a Groovi Bag. I had already got a beautiful oilcloth bag that I bought last year, and haven't yet used! It's a perfect size! I for one will be buying this beautiful new Groovi plate! Somehow, I am sure that I won't be the only one! Hugs to you all, Gilly xxx

    2. Hi Gilly, what a shame able up your weather, sun has been out here and warm too. First time I've opened the conservatory door this year and all the house Windows. Hubby has reroofed shed as well! Washing dry. It didn't chill down until the sun went in at 5 ish. However it's just started to rain now ! Hope it stays dry tomorrow in London as all of Oxford will be at a Wembley (except me and hubby!) as Oxford Utd are playing Barnsley in a cup final.

I have a Groovi bag too! My folders are heavy now with all the plates! They're not really organised either so I must sort something out so I can find which one I want quicker than looking through all of them, although it's nice to be reminded what's there ! I did say I'm going to be using the cushions again! Xxx

    3. Beautiful, mild, sunny day up here today. Sounds like you've had a good day Gilly. We had a walk along the beach this morning and this afternoon I planned my masking challenge card. My idea translates to paper but I want to put it onto a jigsaw so I'll need to wait for the postman. By the way my husband is a postman and his first name is Chris. Yes, I'm married to Chris Evans.

    4. Hi Jackie, very envious of your weather, but it doesn't matter as I've enjoyed my day! Sounds like you have got, LOTS of Groovi plates!!! xxx
Hi Julia, sounds like you have had a lovely day. I'm sure that your hubby is SO much nicer than the other Chris Evans! xxx

    5. Hello gilly julia Jackie sounds like you all have had a good day we had rain this morning but this afternoon was beautiful . I think we will need to put out extra cushions looking at all the wonderful new clarity products hugs xxx

    6. Julia I use to work in the sorting office till I took medical health retirement my partner worked there too for 30 years before he had to take early retirement as they closed our sorting office down where would we be without our post men and post women xxx

    7. Hello Gilly
It's been such a beautiful day here until about 6 when it started to drizzle. We've been cutting back and pruning, a climbing rose fell down in the storm last week so we've been trying to remove some of the weight and come up with a cunning plan to re attach it to the wall! The garden birds haven't been happy as they like to sit on the rise and look in the window. Hope tomorrow is a better day xx

    8. Hello Gilly, I will be joining you buying these plates, they're gorgeous. In front of the fire sounds like a good way to have spent your day. Enjoy the shows tomorrow. Hugs xxx

    9. Hi everyone,
Thank you for your good wishes yesterday. I've been in bed nearly all day today recovering from the migraine. Been up for about three hours but feel so spaced out and tired so I'm off to bed again. Sheila, get the cushions ready, I think / know we're all going to need them tomorrow. Love and hugs to you all, hopefully I'll be more with it tomorrow, love Alison xx.

    10. Sheila, was that the night shift, hard going. Husband is the deputy manager in the local office. The only problem with that is he knows exactly everything I buy/

  2. Hi Barbara
Sock it to 'em tomorrow. The garden birds are my favourite stamps ever so I will definitely get the Groovi Babies. Well done to you and all the team.
    Hugs from Chris x

  4. Just beautiful! Good luck with your busy two days, I've already had a sneak preview and will need those cushions ! I need to start doing more than just thinking about it and stroking them! Xx

  5. I love it when you get your tits out Barbara, ooo eer missus! I love these stamps and I was waiting for them to come out as groovi plates. I also agreed with Heather having the stamps and groovi to match is the business. Looking forward to tomorrow.

  6. Hi Barbara, will be watching tomorrow online. Glad that stamps can be combined with Groovi. Have a great show. Lots of good wishes to all. Lynn x

  7. Only going into mugs T-shirts and curtains, what about Tea towels, cushions and bed linen. It is good to have the designs in Groovi as well. I shall do my best to watch as much as I can and I know I can catch up with the recorded shows on HOCHANDA. Hope all goes well, please take care of yourself. xx

  8. Gorgeous work Barbara! I've just found that my freesat TV is still broadcasting Hochanda, so I've set the recorder, and my OH has sorted for me to watch on the Kindle, so now I just need to find some time to sit down! Such a beautiful day up here today that I had to go out in the sunshine, so there's still a pile of ironing to do tomorrow as well. Good luck with your marathon of shows, Susan x

  9. Just spent a lovely afternoon creating my challenge entry with my tits (stamp!) so glad to see it in Groovi form too. Hoping to watch tomorrow if my tablet will only stop buffering.
Have a wonderful 2 days at Hochanda, roll on May 16th as I am suffering withdrawal symptoms & my husband has taken back control of the remote control! Xx

  12. A beautiful design. The garden birds are lovely. I think it is a great idea to use them. Good luck with the programmes. I have set them to record as I am seeing my grandchildren for the first time in 2 months

  13. Hello Barbara

I think it is a great idea to 'pinch' stamps and turn them into Groovi plates and vice-versa.

I am hoping to work out how to link the computer to the television tomorrow. If not I shall be watching on the laptop.

    Love
    Roz.x

  14. Hello Barbara

I think it is a great idea to 'pinch' stamps and turn them into Groovi plates and vice-versa.

I am hoping to work out how to link the computer to the television tomorrow. If not I shall be watching on the laptop.

    Love
    Roz.x

  15. I will be watching tomorrow, hopefully. I have Freeview, so will be watching on my tablet, via the website. But with so many people trying to watch online I'm worried. I hope it doesn't crash. There's always catch up later though. Fingers crossed.
I love the idea of having the same, or similar, images in all formats, means that you can co-ordinate everything xxx

  16. I too am delighted you're combining the stamp and groove designs – right from the start I hoped you would. What I need are a few lessons on which ink pads to use (I'm guessing Archival, as it's permanent??), and is there a nice soft white one? Will definitely be watching tomorrow, or recording and watching later. I now also take pictures of the screen if I see a lovely design, so I can refer back to it later. Good luck, Barbara, I'm sure it'll go as well as ever. Thanks for all the lovely designs and inspiration!

  17. Hope to watch online tomorrow. Since we now have fibre optic internet it is easy to do without the buffering!
I like the idea of having matching stencils, stamps and groovi so that everything coordinates. I like everything to match as it looks more professional.
I have had a lovely day, first out with hubbie catching up on a few things we needed to do, and then this afternoon I went to my craft group to catch up with friends and be creative with them. As hubbie is working this evening I have my stencils out and making some cards for birthdays coming up tomorrow and later in the week.

  18. Oooooo love these Groovi plates! I have been waiting for these ever since seeing you use them in your introduction video to the new Groovi system. Can't wait to see the new stamps too. Have brought a new HDMI cable so I can watch you and I am hoping that your programmes are on in the early hours so I can record them. Good luck, I will be there laptop, live feed, HDMI cable all playing ball! XX

    1. Hi Donna, I think if I wrap myself up in a duvet, add a couple of cushions and a pillow or two, throw in a bouncy castle or two and I will be ok!!! These garden bird plates are a must have! Hope you've had a good day, our weathers been lovely today xxx

    2. Hi Donna.I'm munching my way through a bar of chocolate…I thought the extra pounds might help cushion my fall haha! Hope you're enjoying your holidays. Hugs xxx

  19. Hi Barbara
Oh I'm so glad you've made groovi garden birds, they are fabulous. I like the idea of having stamps and plates together, I think these will be flying out the door by themselves! Go with the flow over the next couple of days, relax chill and have fun. It will be great to go back to basics with stamping, it's simple things like which ink lad to use that we all need reminding about. Make sure you kick of your shoes and relax between shows. Take care
    Love Diane xx

    1. Hi Brenda Dot, Pam and Morag hope you are all ok and have had a good day. The sun has been gorgeous here today, we've been out in the garden, watching the garden birds flying around and chattering noisily. Enjoy the shows tomorrow. Sending hugs to you all xxx

  20. Hope it all goes well tomorrow and Monday. I will be catching up online as we're out tomorrow and Monday, but wouldn't miss it for anything!

  21. Loving your Groovi tits – ooooo is that really PC??????
Love the artwork and looking forward to the shows. I'll be there with you, watching on-line.
Safe journey and good luck with the shows 🙂 xxx

  22. Lovely project, Barbara.

It's great that business is going so well but, in the midst of all the hustle and bustle, make sure you are getting some relaxation too. Maybe a holiday to recharge the batteries?

Will be watching the shows on playback and I'm particularly looking forward to the one day special. Mxx

  23. Hello Barbara I hope you're managing to get some rest before your marathon. I absolutely adore the new plates and stamps. The only problem I have is what to buy first!!
I'll be there in spirit tomorrow and Monday cheering you on. Hugs xxx

  24. Hello Brenda Dorothy Alison Pam Sue57 and Pen.I hope you all have your cushions at the ready! Feeling a little better today, but no crafting done. I hope you've all managed better. Hugs to you all and to all on the blog xxxx

    1. Hi Morag,
Glad you're feeling better today. I just feel so spaced out and tired, but hopefully will be back to normal tomorrow. Love Alison xx

  25. Hi Barb,
You sound a bit brighter today anyway. Really looking forward to the shows, only hope the website can take it! I for one am glad that you are doing these designs in Groovi too, even though I have them as stamps. I like to have the choice. Sorry this is a short comment, but on way back to bed and hopefully will be fighting fit tomorrow for all of your shows. Thanks for everything, safe journey, love and hugs Alison xxxx

    1. Two grandsons aged 4 and 6 arriving tomorrow for 5 days then we are away for a week so I will be lucky to see any shows but some bloggy demos or even pictures of finished card will help with new ideas. Lots matching certainly does provide the whole package as far as I am concerned, with a few differences for variety and I am in heaven – when funds permit!
Hope your TV shows go well xx

    2. Sorry Alimecca – that was meant for Barbara! I should have put my glasses on first not after!!
Hope you feel better tomorrow, migraines leave you so hung over and muzzy xx

  26. Hello Barbara – glasses on now and brain in gear!

Lots matching certainly does provide the whole package as far as I am concerned, with a few differences for variety and I am in heaven – when funds permit!

  27. Hi Barb. I think you are being cool in the heat of the kitchen today. Also I love that you are reproducing designs in both stamps and groovi. A good design is a good design and it just makes it available to both stampers and groovers. Love the birds – always love birds. I am hoping the wrens nest in the garden again this year. It was wonderful when the fledglings came out and flew around the garden. The parents had spent so many hours flying in and out for weeks with grubs. Looking forward to tomorrow seeing you on Hochanda. "Here we go!" Much love Jayne

  28. The beautiful Blue Tit and the Blossom Branch are gorgeous Barbara and the added hills and lovely colouring enhances this so prettily. I will try and watch tomorrow and Monday if I can but I know it will all go well as it always does. x

  29. Love the birds, went to see Paul's demo at Coleman's this morning, what a star. Unfortunately didn't make it early enough, all my wishlist had sold out, oh well, Will make sure Ally Pally visit will be your stand first port of call. Enjoy tomorrow and see you next weekend.

  31. Hi Barbara, this is very pretty, thanks for sharing. I know you're worrying about how many people will watch and buy your products. Like I said last night, it's Hochanda they'll have their gripes with not Clarity, and it's probably all hot air anyway. All your loyal fans will still check out your new products even if they can't/don't watch. I'm going to try my best to watch all our shows. The trouble with watching online for some of us is if like me you're a long way from the exchange as that makes the internet connection slow. So we get more buffering/freezing and crashes than others nearer the exchange. And it seems we lose the ability to watch videos/live streaming when a site is busy before others do too. Being honest I think too many people will be trying to watch you online and on catch up after for mine to work, but I'll try. Best of luck with all your shows. Try to live in the moment and enjoy them as best you can. I'll be thinking about you. Love Brenda xx

  32. Just beautiful Barbara I just love the wee birds there are so many clarity stamps that will look great on the Groovi I think its a great idea. Hope your in the land off nod now unluke me and oor Brenda and have stopped all that peddling enough is enough and if its not nobody can wing it better than you.
    See you tomorrow…XX

  33. It's a lovely idea to be able to do clarity pick'n'mix, mix'n'match.Takes all the stress out of choosing what to put with what, and it's great for those of us who like to DIY inserts to have the same kind of options as when we buy matching card and paper packs that are present printed.
Looking forward to all your shows x

  34. Hi Barb, such beautiful artwork. Love the idea of plates and stamps that match. You can do so much with them. Good luck for the shows, I am sure you are well prepared and will have everything spot on, as you always do. Travel safely. Bx

  35. Barbara, it's good that the stamps and the groovi plates co-ordinate. Is a shame about free view though because that will probably be how most people watch you. Personally I never order anything from a company that uses couriers as I work full time so I use Hochanda to watch your demos and then order direct from Clarity.

  36. I have your larger blue tits, Barb. I'll be watching your progs on Hochanda, but I would be a lot happier bunny if they would finally decide to sell to us in Ireland. You have no idea how frustrating it is. I know I can get your things direct from you, but a lot of the other suppliers I can't. Please tell them about us, that we can watch there programs, but not buy from them?

  37. Hi Barbara
Love the blue tits it looks beautiful.
All programs put to record but will also watch.Liking all the new plates, obviously I want them all.Just waiting for 5pm show now and looking forward to the One Day Special at 8pm,see you then.
