Gelli Card Scraps rock!!!

Gelli Card Scraps rock!!!

Hi there!!
Thaks for popping in.
Just a quickie though.
Evening in with Dave and an Indian.
Think I maybe ought to rephrase that…
Last day of the first 6 days of retreats today.
Thoroughly enjoyed spending a week with a load of lovely, creative, like-minded people.
So many, many thanks to all those of you who attended and supported the workshops again.
Couldn’t do it without you – nor would I want to!!
Here’s a five minute offering,
before I draw the curtains on Clarity for an evening…
Walk the brayer with Fresco paints on Gelli Card….
Stamp our cool Treescape Claritystamp into the opening
with Black Archival.

Cover bottom with a Post-It
and add a little shadow around the base with dye-based inks,
like Adirondack or Distress pads

Tear a piece of copy paper and add a hill in the background
with a make-up sponge
Using a black Micron pen,
jiggle back and forth from side to side, to draw in lines for hills

Add a little shade along the lines
with a selection of matching Spectrum Noir Pencils.

That’ll do!

Hope you like it.
Hope you have a nice evening.

love and hugs,

  19. Lovely artwork, Barbara. Not only do you make it look easy, but now, after the Retreat, I know it isn't that hard. Thanks for a great 2 days. It's always so well planned and executed, but manages to remain friendly and flexible at the same time. I'm glad the week went so well, and now I hope you get some you and Dave time.

  20. This is beautiful Barbara and love the fresco paints walking the brayer technique, nice and random, and the trees with the freehand hills and the nice shading make the perfect scene. Hope your Indian went down well and that you had a good evening after the last of your retreats with another set of very happy customers. Have a nice relaxing Sunday. x

  21. Hello Barb, a really lovely image. My hills never seem to turn out like yours, so need some work. Hope you had a nice relaxing evening in with Dave, and enjoyed the indian. Take care. Bx

  22. Love the look of those fresco paints, but really need to use up what I have before I invest in more. Great colour mix on this piece and love the little squiggly hills. Hope you enjoyed your curry and quiet night in, and glad that the workshops were so enjoyable for all. Susan x
