  1. Hi Barbara,
Simply stunning card, quick and easy, just what I need at the moment, I've got 9 birthday cards to make and use by the 5th May, yikes! Better get a move on 🙂
    Take care,
    Jackie x

  2. Hi Barbara. Thank you for this youtube, I've enjoyed watching it. I'm learning loads of tips and techniques from your youtubes, things that before I had no idea where to start /how to achieve. I can see close up exactly what you are doing, just like you were here showing me in person. Even though I've not put many into practise yet, I am starting to get the concepts and pictures in my head, like lots of wee jigsaw pieces starting to slot into place. And I can always come back to your comprehensive reference library of youtubes whenever I need to. I've struggled for a good number of years to try to work out how to do basics such as shading, gave up for a while as I just had no idea how to translate what I saw or heard on the telly. But now I've been learning from you I feel able to have a another go 🙂

Thank you for your time and dedication to teaching us and helping us in soo many ways. I very much appreciate it, especially as people like me have no other options available to us to learn and develop in our art /craft.
And thank you Jim for posting
    Love Brenda xx

  3. That is definitely my favourite stamp at the moment (together with the Wee Folk) so anything you show us with that is fine for me. Beautiful quiet design – I love it. Safe journey back from Germany and keep away from those mad motorway drivers. xxx Maggie

  4. Have this stamp and I love it , anything with trees and butterflies is so very symbolic and spiritual for me . Just got my Alice stamp and she's a beauty . You have a fan here in virginia . Stop by if you are ever down the east coast of the USA . Wish you would do a workshop in NYC . I could make that .

    Karin

  6. Hi Barbara
Thank you for another fab youtube Tuesday. I love the use of the dotty wave to add that little something and how using it in the corners of the backgroung ties everything together. Lovely work as always.
    Hugs from Chris X

  7. Thank you for pushing the button Jim!

Thank you Barbara for another lovely tutorial. We very much appreciate all your hard work on our behalf. It is brilliant that these are all on YouTube so that we can all pop in and watch whenever we feel the need for inspiration or to learn techniques.

    Hugs xx

  8. Thanks Jim for pushing the button. Tried to watch the German show but couldn't although I hear it was a sell out so well done. Hope you're now enjoying your mini-break Barbara xx

  9. Hi Barb,
First of all a big thank you to Jim for the post.
Love this little project which actually looks relatively simple. I think I will have to give this a go as I have everything.
Hooe you are enjiying yourselves in Germany. Love Alison xx

  10. Until today I have not liked this stamp. I think it's the lack of symmetry or something, I'm unfortunately one of those people who'd spot a dot out of place at 100 yards, comes in handy sometimes but usually annoys the hell out of me. Today though i'm loving this stamp. It's amazing what a few wacy lines in the background can do.

    Thanks for posting Jim.

  11. Hi Barbara, a lovely card that looks relatively easy, (I did say looks) the dotty wave stencil makes a lot of difference & using it on the backing card brings it all together. Really like how you've put the hills in to. Have all the things so I'm going to try it tomorrow.

Well done Jim for pressing the button so we didn't miss Tuesday's utube. Enjoy a break now Barbara.xx

  12. Hi Jim, thanks for flipping the switch x
Hi Barbara this is beautiful, love this stamp and just the one colour. Amazing. Thank you for sharing. Enjoy your mini break with Dave and Mum.
    Love Diane xxx

  13. This is beautiful Barbara and I do love the Mountain Rose Adirondack ink that you have used here. That ribbon effect round the edge is so pretty and then the added hills in the background too both work so well to give some perspective to the scene. Thank you for showing this and I'm sure I shall give it a try in the future. x

  14. Thank you Jim
Barbara you have created a beautiful card. I was so pleased to see the brushes in action I bought some at Ally Pally after my good friend recommended them. I can't wait to get started. Enjoy your time in Germany. Hugs Jackie

  15. Thanks Jim.
Hi Barbara. Thank you for a great video. The butterfly tree stamp is gorgeous and I love how you do your frames. You make it look so easy, I will keep trying as mine look like a drunk spider has walked over my ink pad : ) I hope that you, Dave (thinking of you driving on the autobahn!) and your Mum are having a lovely break.Take care x

  16. Hello Barb and Jim, playing catch up again. Thanks for flicking the switch Jim, wouldn't have been the same without YouTube Tuesday. Beautiful image/creation and great video. Bx

  17. Thank you Barbara (and Jim!) – another great tutorial. I think I might use this concept for a sympathy card I need to do – maybe if I use shades of lilac? There is something very spiritual about that butterfly tree…Susan x
