And just like that, we’re at 90 Days to Christmas!

This weekend, there’s another countdown of sorts going on too, because we’re celebrating Clarity’s birthday! So while we’re counting our way down to Christmas, we’ll also be spending the next few days celebrating Clarity — with new designs, special offers, a few surprises and, most importantly, plenty of creativity together.

If you’ve been following our 100 Day Countdown, you’ll know that we’re gradually gathering ideas, inspiration and lovely things to make as we head towards Christmas. No panic. No mad dash. Just a little bit at a time.

And today I want to show you something new that Jazz designed, which is particularly delightful…

Our Vintage Christmas Paper Collection.

There’s something about a good old tartan or check at Christmas, isn’t there? It immediately feels warm and traditional. Add in some little trees, stars, diamonds, old script and those lovely muted vintage colours, and you’ve got a collection that works beautifully for Christmas — without every sheet shouting CHRISTMAS!!

There are 48 sheets in the pack, 12 designs and 4 colour palettes, so there’s loads to play with. Some are bold enough to do most of the work for you, while others make brilliant backgrounds and frames.CLICK HERE for the Christmas Vintage Papers

I used them yesterday, and once I started putting the samples together, I realised just how useful they are.

See what I mean? The paper gives you the whole atmosphere before you’ve really done anything! A simple piece of stamped artwork suddenly looks properly finished.

And although we designed them as a Christmas collection, take another look…

They work beautifully with our Lovely Children too.

In fact, I think that’s one of the things I like most about this collection. Take away the obvious Christmas imagery and many of these papers will carry on working right through autumn and winter — birthdays, masculine cards, scrapbook pages, little books, boxes… all sorts.

The checks and tartans especially have that lovely old-fashioned storybook feel, don’t they?

And how gorgeous is this combination? The fine check, the little chap all bundled up for winter — and take a closer look at the script in the background. Recognise it? It’s the complete poem ’Twas the Night Before Christmas. What a lovely backdrop! You don’t necessarily notice it straight away, but once you do, it adds a whole other layer to the artwork. Now THAT is vintage Christmas! The poem is printed in different fonts in the pack, too.

We’ll be taking a much closer look at these lovely children tomorrow. I’ll be showing you more of them here on the blog, and then we’ll be bringing them properly to life on Clarity TV from 2–4pm.

There are some absolute beauties in this collection, and plenty more samples to share with you. So that’s tomorrow sorted!

For today though, it’s all about those gorgeous Vintage Christmas Papers.
