Day 25 – August Arty Challenge – I Will Go With The Flow
This one is my favourite so far. And perhaps that’s because I really did just go with the flow — quite literally! With alcohol inks, you can guide them a little, but ultimately they have a mind of their own. They flow, they merge, they wander off in unexpected directions… and rather than trying to control what was happening, I simply worked with it. No fixed plan, no fighting it, no trying to make it look like something I’d already decided it should be. I just watched what happened and responded. And I LOVE where it ended up!
There’s a little life lesson in there somewhere, isn’t there? Sometimes the best things happen when we loosen our grip on the outcome, trust the process, and work with what comes our way.

Thank you for all the ideas using the gel press, alcohol inks, acrylic paints etc . I have’nt used my gel press plate much but you have made the results look so achievable I am going to have a play and just see what happens.Thanks for the inspiration.

Another great project for today, at least we both saw the same thing in the inky print. The trees on the left side were what sprang to mind as soon as you turned the card over, the triangle couple just finished it off perfectly. I have so enjoyed watching the videos each day, they have helped me through a few difficult weeks, now I need to start moving forward and get started on the actual artwork. That should keep me out of mischief for a while before going on holiday.
