Day 2 – August Arty Challenge – I See Beauty In Ordinary Things
Happy Sunday!
It’s so easy to rush through the day without really noticing what’s around us. This affirmation made me stop and think. There really is beauty in the ordinary – a weathered fence, the shape of a leaf, the texture of an old wall, even the way ink settles on paper. Today’s project is a reminder that you don’t need lots of fancy products or complicated techniques to make something lovely. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the ones that surprise you most. I hope today’s card inspires you to look at the everyday with fresh eyes and, perhaps, head off to your craft desk with an idea of your own.

In case you would like to emulate what I did, here are the exact ingredients:

I’m loving the daily art challenge Barbara, thank you! I was up at 6.30am, It’s now 7.25am and I’m crafting in my nighty! 😂😂
Best thing to do!! First thing, Jane. If I weren’t feeling so woozy still, I’d be making art in my nightie too! X
Day 2: Gorgeous. I’m not a stamper but I am loving watching and listening to you create your art. You are so obviously in your happy, calming space.
Thank you.
