Day 15 – I Trust It Will All Work Out
Hi there.
We’re almost halfway through our August Arty Challenge already! Today’s affirmation is I Trust It Will All Work Out. Now there’s a useful one — in art and in life. How often do we start making something and, halfway through, think, “Oh dear. This isn’t going the way I thought it would”? But if we keep going, add another layer, change direction, cover a bit up, work with what’s in front of us rather than what we had in our heads, somehow it usually comes together. And even when it doesn’t turn out quite as planned, we’ve learned something along the way. Sometimes you just have to trust the process, keep going and see where you end up. xxx

And me? I am having a domestic day, catching up with housework, before setting up for the retreat tomorrow… Mind you, I just spent at least an hour chatting to lovely Linda Williams! It was so good to catch up. I do love that woman. Back to the kitchen and a good book now! I was hoping to get a little pottery in this afternoon too. So yes. A quiet day off!

How lovely, havent played with these ones yet. don’t overdo it on the housework! Mine’s been neglected because of the heat. It’s good to catch up with friends too. Have a lovely weekend and please keep us posted on any baby news. X
Hi Barbara, its sounds as if you are going to have a busy day but there again all non Clarity based. Nothing like sitting a while with a good book, but then I always get to a point when I want to know what happens next so I carry on & before you know it a whole afternoon has gone by. Relaxing though !! I hope you get to your Happy Place for an while so you can get your hands around some clay – a different creative method but again relaxing for you. If the housework doesn’t get done so be it, it will be there when you get back home after the retreats & then catch up once not twice !!

Pleased you had some relaxing time planned, hope its gone well. Looking forward to doing this later, not yet used to dotted flower stamp, but was planning to use them for a friends Birthday card, so will enjoy having a play later. Take care. xx
