20 Days To Christmas – Let me take you to Glastonbury…
Hi there
I am really looking forward to doing this artwork again, but with you. Is it difficult? Nope. There is a process, and if you have done any of the other 3 Paper Collage courses with me, then you will know how achievable it is. Sign up now, HERE. Or wait until later, check out how it works and what the deal is at 10am on Clarity TV. Then sign up!
When are we scheduling the LIVE workshop?
Saturday 7th February 2026 from 9am-12pm and 2pm-4pm. I thought that the whole day, split into two morning and afternoon sessions worked so well last time! So let’s do that…

Have you ever been to Glastonbury? It is truly magical. I’m not talking about the music festival. Believe you me, Glastonbury and the Tor on the hill have been there a lot lot longer than the music festival! Dave and I have been to the festival, and it was pretty bonkers. Not for the faint-hearted, that’s for sure! But we made amazing memories. One year we even went with Paul and Earle. I still have a vivid memory of Earle dancing in the silent disco!! Such fun!!
But the Tor. What a magic, spiritual place.
St Michael’s Tower
At the top of this conical hill stands the lone 14th-century tower, the last surviving piece of a medieval church destroyed in an earthquake. It’s now a protected Grade I listed building, and its silhouette against the sky is one of the most recognisable views in Somerset.
The Tor is wrapped in Celtic and Christian mythology. In one tradition it’s linked to Avalon — the Isle of Apples — the legendary resting place of King Arthur. In others, it’s associated with Gwyn ap Nudd, the Celtic king of the fairies and the underworld. The Tor has long been a place where the veil between worlds is thought to feel thinner. I believe it is.

You don’t need prior experience — just a willingness to take your time and enjoy the process. The project is accessible, relaxing, and rewarding, and you’ll come away with a finished artwork that captures the distinctive presence of the Tor in a contemporary, understated way.
What a lovely Christmas present this actual course would make!
See you at 10am !
Love and Clarity,

Wow Barb, I’m so looking forward to this workshop! As I mentioned in your Blog yesterday, Glastonbury has special and magical memories for me. The Tor, the Abbey and the garden of the Chalice Well. Special places, special memories. The surrounding countryside is beautiful as well, all steeped in ancient Celtic, British and Arthurian legends. Definitely my kind of place. See you at 1000am! 😊👍🏻
This looks lovely!
Hope you are feeling better – see you at 10am xxx
Morning Barb, I have never been to Glastonbury Tor, however having some Celtic heritage, it is somewhere I would love to go while I am still able. Will try join at 10am for the preview of what I am sure will be a very popular course. Bx
The Tor looks like a great addition to the collection. I enjoyed the previous ones & as long as you take your time & follow the process all should be well. I am hoping that we will have moved by then & got straight but everything is moving very slow in the legal world & mine at the moment so we will see how we go. The great thing is that it is always available to go back to later if necessary.
Its our Granddaughters 16th Birthday today so we are going over to surprise her when she gets home from school so a busy day.
Glad you are feeling better & back in the saddle so to speak xx
Hi Barbara,
The Tor is truly a magical place to be, I am so lucky to live less than an hour away from it, but it never ceases to amaze me. There is a stillness there that cannot be described, so calming. I am a huge King Arthur enthusiast. I even called my little dog Merlin. xXx
