Where does the time go?

Where does the time go?

Hi there

A week ago today, I was pedalling away on Clarity TV, showcasing those fabulous little Clarity Character stamps we doodled together in the SHAC a while ago. Remember?

SHAC People Stamps

Just a few samples here, to show you how cool they are!

I used them in conjunction with these fab layout stamps, which we’ve reduced in size. They are so cool!

Bijou Montage Stamps

Then there’s the new Woodblock Sticker Collection

and the new Quotes by Clarity A5sq Stamp Set with FREE Postcards

All available HERE

You can watch via the Clarity Crafts Facebook & YouTube pages or watch below:

Just fun. And we all enjoy a little fun – no matter what age we are!

Remember yesterday, I told you that I had cleaned off the glass table and we were going to hang out in the garden? Well, I decided to experiment with my little clay birds. I made a couple more owls, then I played a game. Think of a bird, then try and capture the shape, then ask Dave if he could tell what bird it was! He got them all right! Hahaha. Can you see the nuthatch and Jenny wren ? I like the new owls too. Maybe I will make a whole parliament of them! They would probably make more sense of this messed up world than us humans!

But here‘s the highlight of this ‘ere blog…

I took a couple of pics, to show you WHY I cleaned off the glass table 😘 …spot the japonica behind him!

Yep. Dave may have had a knee op, but he never stops coming up with great ideas.

Here’s his latest innovation: a tool holder for both stamps pens (his last idea) AND Pergamano tools. They are SO SO excellent! Each holder takes 12 tools. All tissue wrapped and beautifully boxed. We will be launching them tomorrow afternoon on Clarity TV. Dave assembled about 50 while I made about 8 clay birds! It’s like we always say: we’re in this together.

We think they will be popular, both for the stamping community AND the Parchment community. I told Dave I reckon people will buy more than one. He just looked at me over the top of his glasses. 😃😃😃😃. Hands up who want more than 1 !! Just so I can coax him back into production!

Happy Sunday.

Love always,

Barb x x x

  1. I love the garden birds sculptures! what a great idea with the tool holders! I’ve seen lots of people ask if you still did the tool caddies, so I think they will be very popular!

  2. Me thinks these will blow the doors off as well – brilliant but of kit for both stampers and parchers. Well done Dave. Of all your lovely birds I must admit the owls are my favourite. Hope you both have a good day making the most of the fine weather. It’s apparently going to get colder and wet next week, typical, just in time for Easter. Oh well if it’s wet outside I’ll just have to stay in and play with my crafty stash – every cloud has a silver lining as they say xxxx

  3. I love the owls! They appear to have so much feeling too! The tool holders look fantastic! I’ve a feeling that Dave is going to be very busy producing these!
    Have a lovely weekend.

  4. Good morning, love the little birds, I think Ken is going to need at least 3 ! I’ve got to wait as I’m not sure I’ve got room on my desk area – will have to be some tidying and moving about before I will know. Also I’ve spent too much this month already ! Got to put another non—slip coat on the decking, wont be as warm doing it today like it was Friday ! Then I must think about some Easter cards, got the rabbits and eggs ready for stamping/grooving. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. X

    1. Ken’s going to need 3 tool caddies – not birds ! Who knows he might need a little flock of them too !

  5. I’m so glad that Dave has had another lightbulb moment and has designed and made these holders. 🙌 I’ve been searching the internet for something to hold my stamp pens but nothing quite fitted the bill ……..until now! Whoo hoo! I definitely need one (for now,) it’s not out of the question that I’ll need another one at some point. 😂

  6. Beautiful morning here. Had a short walk in the sunshine, so refreshing after being inside for so long.
Those owls are just charming….love them.
Well done Dave, will definitely buy 2 holders plus more stamp pens as there will be somewhere to keep them safe on my desk while working.
I keep saying I will restrain myself from spending too much but you keep coming up with so many good things I think I’m losing the battle. Oh well, can’t take it with me so may as well enjoy myself while I can.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s show, it will be a nice relaxing watch after a morning spent at the hospital.

  7. Oh next to my Groovi stash the thing I love most is storage….. so yes I might need a sky scraper size tool rack for all my pergamano tools and the stamp pens . Well done Dave on another Lightbulb moment.
Love all the clay birds but the owls are amazing
Looking forward to tomorrow’s program, my card is flexing….

  8. The birds are beautiful and sure to fly along with the tool holders. It’s lovely to look forward to Monday.x

  9. I feel as if I’ve been under the cosh lately. Everything comes at once. My life has been so busy since February and it doesn’t look as if it’s going to be any quieter until about May (not long to wait). I’ve watched the Clarity TV Shows and have been very tempted to buy more goodies but I’m rapidly running out of space. So today I decided to start re-organising the 3rd bedroom/craft storage room/guest bedroom (family coming to stay for Easter). It will take me a few months to seriously sort it but I’m hoping I can free up some space to make room for some Clarity goodies. I’ve got 3 carrier bags of books for the charity shop tomorrow!!!!

  10. Looks like you both had a very productive day yesterday so probably there are a few more by now. Weather not quite so nice today but warm enough to do some major garden work at our daughter’s house. They have just gone on a tip run so I am taking a few minutes to get my second wind and catch up with all things Clarity. Shall miss the SHAC tomorrow but it will be something to look forward to when we get home tomorrow evening xx

  11. Love the bird sculptures, sat out in summer house watching the finches this afternoon. So relaxing, just to listen.
I reckon I’ll need 2 of the stands for my stamp pens 😂🤭 glad the op went well xxx

  12. I just love those bird sculptures! I bought something similar the other day from our local college for people with learning disabilities, and they have a hole in the base to make them cane toppers. Such a clever, useful and beautiful idea.

  13. Hi Barb, what a lovely way to spend the day doing something together. I think the tool storage is going to be a big seller. I love the birds can’t wait to see the finished items. I love owls too. Bx

  14. Hi Barb.
I think people would definitely need more than 1. I’ve got 2 of the original holders, so Dave had better get gluing.
Love the little birds too. X
