Happy Sunday
Hi there.
Thanks for popping in. It’s Mothering Sunday here in the UK, so if you are celebrating, or being celebrated, have a great day! I have been up and at it, writing and doing artwork.
Tomorrow, to end our Japan March celebrations on a high, we are launching a rather special set of immaculate Crane stamps. They each come with their image masks, too. Original artwork by our friend, Mel Turner.

They are so beautiful! Let me find some artwork from the Design Team…

That last sample by Jane Telford with the Cherry Blossom is a bit special! Alcohol ink background and our SHAC Japonica Panel stamps. CLICK HERE

Then I thought they would really look good on our Clarity landscapes. So I designed a few new ones – landscape and portrait. 3 x 5 inch and 4 x 6.5 inch. Which then needed mocking up, for the packaging…

Here’s what I came up with….now just imagine a crane or two….wonderful.

So. The masks are already made, and these prototypes will go to Clarity tomorrow, so that Jazz can lay up the insert, so that Lisa can print them, so that somebody can pack them, so that we can showcase them at 2pm, so that you can buy them! They will be available first thing tomorrow !
And now I am off to do some pottery!
Have a great Sunday, I hope the sun is shining where you are. It is beautiful here.
Love always,
Barb x x x

Oh Barb you have done it again. Outstanding backgrounds. Those toppers just the best for those who don’t want to get inky or want to make a quick card, with the Pinky gray stickers, you can’t go wrong. The new BOW WOB, just so many super ideas and inspiration coming from you and Clarity.
Just superb.xx
Wow! Those new landscapes look amazing! Sunny here too but a cold wind.
Happy Mothering Sunday. X
Wow they look amazing would you be able to use them for parchment crafting. Happy Mother’s Day Barbara.
oooooooo Very striking. Looking forward to 2pm tomorrow. In the meantime Barb enjoy this special day. Give Dave my best and enjoy going potty!
Well done DT. Fabulous as always.❤️❤️❤️
Wow, you’ve gone and done it again! I promised myself not to spend this next month. Not a chance, got to have these!! Beautiful art work. Enjoy your day at your pottery hub.
Loving those new landscapes. Will be dropping into my basket sometime soon. The cranes have been such fun to play with. Enjoy your pottery!
Lovely and sunny here too in Surrey. but with quite a wind. Washing hopefully getting dry. You have been busy. Looking forward to seeing them demonstrated tomorrow afternoon. Hope pottery is going well. Take care.
Sunny here in Norfolk. Great day for crafting.
Love, love, love the Cranes, what a super addition to the Japanese items. Fantastic art work from the design team. Looking forward to the launch on u tube.
Have a good pottery session. I am off to do some stamping and colouring with the new pencils hubby bought me.
Ooo! I need those – and the landscapes are just perfect – I can’t wait to try them all out.
Have a lovely day Barb, and enjoy the lovely sunshine xx
Do you ever sit still Barbara Gray? 😂 I’m getting ready to pop off for the week (Isle of Wight) so will catch up on all the TV when I get back. There are never enough hours in the day for me but I never seem to achieve half of what you do. Travel gently Barb xx
Oh! they are so lovely. A real grand finale for Japan month. Enjoy your pottery. Looking forward to tomorrow.x
Happy potting! The samples and masks look like they will work together perfectly. I’ve been pottering in the garden and allotment today, not quite the same
but still good for my head and very grounding.
Good evening, been a lovely sunny day and still is at 6.30 and conservatory door still open, been a bit chilly for sitting out though, I had to put my cardi when I read outside so moved back in to conservatory, I did a bit of tidying and sorting of pots, even rescued a small clematis from a pot and put it in garden by one of the older ones. It has two chances as they say. Also finished emptying shed for eldest son to dismantle tomorrow then he’s going to pull up the decking and enlarge the area ready for our new summerhouse – hubby keeps saying I’ll be able to craft there ! Someone local is having the shed so it wont go to waste.
I will have to give the cranes a miss as I’m not a bird person especially big ones ! but will look forward to the lovely designs you create and it will save me some pennies for something else ! Bit of a relief really 😹
hope your pottery went well xx
P.s. going to check if I have the semi circle pergamano tool before I put in my final Japan10 order.
Wow, Barb, what a way to end Japan Month at Clarity! Mel’s artwork is awesome, she has produced some magical designs in these stamp sets. Your landscape masks complement the stamps perfectly. I can’t wait to see your demos and the Design Team’s Gallery. I’ve always had a soft spot for cranes, as you know from my attempts at Origami. There is much legend and mythology attached to them, such as they represent luck and longevity. The majestic cranes are said to live for 1000 years and if you fold 1000 Origami cranes, the sacred crane will grant you a wish! I haven’t quite got there yet! 😄
Hope you had a great weekend of pottery and Dave’s recovery has continued in “leaps and bounds”!
Just got home from a lovely day at our daughters – 4 generations celebrating Mothering Sunday. Its been a lovely sunny day but a very chilly wind so not one for sitting outside just yet, but with the clocks going forward summer is on its way !!
Hope you had a successful pottery session & managed to have some down time from work. Looking forward to the 2pm show to see what you have lined up for us with the new stamps & masks, then I must remember to complete my last Japan order before midnight.
I will have to catch up with the SHAC & the letter V after that as I will be out in the morning.
Been a lovely day here too bit chilly to begin with but the sun came out. Bit windy.
At mums this evening to spend the night with her for Mother’s Day! She’s so happy to have company.
Seen both boys and their families so I’m happy too.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s show, the Crane stamps are just gorgeous and I can see them working so well on the new landscapes. I really love using the masks how exciting to have new ones too!
What beautiful landscapes, can’t wait to play with mine and all the lovely goodies which arrived a few days ago. Looking forward to the Shac in the morning. Hope you enjoyed your pottery session.
