Happy Boxing Day!
I hope you are having a good time this Christmas. We have been to Rye today, walking along the coast, taking in the sea air. So many people had the same idea! But it was pleasant, and a bit of fresh air – together with good conversation along the way – was just lovely. It’s the simple things in life. We then came back and had the exact same Christmas dinner as yesterday, but without all the stresses, because it was all already cooked! Mind you, yesterday was delightful too. I so appreciate being able to sit with family, and enjoy a good meal together.
All in all, today has been a pretty low key, pretty typical Boxing Day kinda day. Before we settle down to watch a film on TV, (Wicked Little Letters, with Olivia Colman. I’ve seen it, but as with any good book or film, a second read or view at the very least is encouraged in this house).
I wanted to also shine a light on our £2 clearance sale. It’s proving very popular! It started this morning, and lots of the club back issues have already sold out. When I woke up and checked it was all up and running, I actually had to smile about it. The first thing that came into my head was, “THEY’LL LOVE THIS!!” It’s what I often do. I just put myself in your shoes, and then I know what you’ll think. And I thunk, “What a fun sale! Loads of really good projects, stamps, stencils and Groovi plates for just £2!! I’d really enjoy a sale like that!” So I know you will too.
There really are so many smashing designs and card making ideas being sold here! If you run classes, then what a great way to build a structured course! It’s just a question of stock. If we have them in the cupboard, then happy days. But we are selling out, and we won’t be replacing the past issues. Once they are gone, they are gone. We are shutting down one of our two locations in January, moving everything to one manufacturing address. So we need to clear some shelves. We have to free up some space. All part of our new 2025 Clarity Plan!

My 3 boys cooked Christmas dinner for 12 of the family and plated up 3 more for people who were working. The rest of us enjoyed a walk to and from Wetherspoons for a festive drink. Back there again for Mum’s birthday tomorrow. A late lunch at 3 then over back to Mum’s for the traditional family games.
Happy Boxing Day to you all. We’ve had a lovely day with the Grandchildren, a walk on the common and then opening presents. Perfect.
And now I’m going to spend the afternoon looking at the sale. Thank you xx
Well today was a better day , mum still in hospital but my lovely brother came up from Kent to be with her today so I could have late Christmas dinner – well cold turkey mash sausage meat stuffing and pickles – my fave. Seeing as I only had a sandwich all day yesterday it went down very well. Opened presents late and spent a delayed day with my family. Poor mum though – not great being in hospital at Christmas – at least I have mostly recovered from pneumonia and am well enough to go back to visit mum tomorrow. What a Christmas!!!
Anyway enough of my problems 🥰—-Love the sale – that cheered me up this morning and I placed an order straight away – Thankyou for the great bargains!

Quiet Christmas Day, came back after seeing Mum and slammed in the lamb, I cooked for 3 of us (Lima next door) her turn next year! Then she went back to see her dogs and for a nap and came back at 6 for another couple of hours and pudding ! Then my niece and her tribe came this afternoon, we took the kids up to see Mum and then came back to ours and I did supper. We’re enjoying peace and quiet now with some football on tv. Enjoyed Wallace & Grommet yesterday and Gavin and Stacey, real feel good tv. We watched the Wicked Little Letters film a while ago and it’s one I’d watch again too. I haven’t looked at this sale as I’ve got it all 😹 have a good rest of holiday xx
we’ve had a fab Christmas too, celebrating with family. I’m planning to have a quieter weekend – and then get ready for the new grandson due in a few weeks!
I had a belated Christmas present, a visit from Severn Trent, to check on a drain issue I had on 15th December, already had two visits from Homeserve on the 18th, so relieved I’m no longer on edge waiting for a telephone call letting me know when they are coming. A great sale on the back club issues, of which I have all of them. I have renewed my club membership for next year, looking forward to see what goodies you have in store for us. xx
We had a lovely day yesterday with the family, 4 generations. Today was a lot quieter as the younger members had gone to see their other grandparents. Unfortunately it was a very damp grey day here so not one for going for a walk – a walk along the coast sounds wonderful. Tomorrow the extended family are coming so another busy day but its pizza on the menu rather than a roast dinner to give the chef a rest.
Checked out the sale but I am already the owner of most of them but a brilliant way to build up a stash of great projects with previous club editions at a special price.
Looking forward to seeing what you all have lined up for us in 2025 – starting with Dave’s brainwave on the 5 Jan xx

We had a busy day on Boxing Day with both our sons visiting – it was wonderful, although we are both pretty tired today! After the very quiet Christmas Day, it was just lovely!
I have already taken advantage of the £2 club sale – I got in there early so I didn’t miss out on the ones I wanted!
I am rather jealous of you living near to the sea 🌊 – I love it, it’s my favourite place to be, but we live in the middle of the country so have to plan a special trip!
