The Future is looking bright…

Thanks for popping in. Thought I’d write to you today. Got up really early, Dave went off to Clarity, to get ahead of the game there, and I did some computer work that needed completing before tomorrow. All done, and feeling quite accomplished. Time check? 9am. They know how to spend their Sundays! 😂 😂
It’s just as well Dave and I share the approach that it’s best to just get it done, then relax into the knowledge that you got it done.
I’ve been looking back at the last month, since Create & Craft folded. It‘s a month to the day today. So I’ve been looking back at what we have done at Clarity, since the business – that we hinged our whole business model on – went into administration. And I have to say, we’ve done a pretty good job.
CLARITY SOCIAL TV is going from strength to strength. We are still learning as we go, but judging from customer and viewer reviews, I’d say we’re on track!
We’ve already got a TV routine in place: 10am and 2pm every Monday, Tuesday and Friday, plus Thursday SHAC 7pm, and my first Sunday of the month, 3-5. That’s the weekly slots, plus Deborah Wheeler is guesting monthly too. These guest shows will grow as we grow. But we are all systems go right now!
We have also launched some really lovely new products in this last month! Let’s take a look back…

Then there’s the SHAC, Groovi Tuesday, the three Clarity clubs, the Clarity Matters Blog, this blog, Sales. Oh it’s keeping us hopping for sure!! No time to stand still and mope!!
Yep. The future is looking brighter than it has for a while. I know I keep saying it, but I will say it again: thank you so very much for watching and supporting us. What a wonderful Clarity community!

I love the way you have all handled the loss of C&C. Your energy and enthusiasm are marvellous! This months items that you have made are wonderful! They all have so many possibilities. I do hope Barbara, that you are not running yourself into the ground. Thank goodness for all the Clarity staff that have taken up the gauntlet with you! Have a lovely afternoon, hopefully relaxing! Good afternoon, was going to say morning but see it’s a minute past ! Just back from visiting Mum, she’s doing well in her home and it’s good to know she’s safe, well looked after, and my sister hasn’t got the worry. I sat with them all this morning doing a crossword. I, for one, was glad of Clarity tv to look back at yesterday to make sure I was doing my fairy/angel correctly! It’s much easier than C&C and I know it’s going to be there forever. Also you are able to show so much more in a relaxed and easy way and answer our questions as you go along.
I have one worry and that’s the new points – it’s showing me how much I’m spending and I’ve already used a few points 😹🤦♀️😹 and those 10% vouchers you’re putting in with the orders – well, they’re just too inviting but I forgot it and placed an order so now I’ll have to place another to use it 😹
Hope you and Dave can grab a rest at some point as your holiday wasn’t a peaceful one although lovely ! Don’t forget what you say – travel gently xx
P.s. already got the viaduct ! The advent calendars are sat in my basket waiting for something else no doubt to fall off the shelf, now where’s that 10% voucher ! X

So pleased that you have been able to move things forward, but please not at the expense of the health of you all. I love the Clarity TV shows and hope that you are all able to have some downtime to just be. Hope that less travelling compensates in some way for all the other things you are doing. It’s great to see Clarity and some of the other craft businesses and presenters able to move on from that dreadful experience

Dear Barb, you’ve done amazingly well! I think I speak for a lot of people when I say I much prefer Clarity TV to C&C! That’s not to denigrate C&C in any way but it’s a much better way to advertise your wares yourself. We can see your love, enthusiasm and expertise shining out to us from the screen. Not that I would have expected anything less from you. You have such energy and enthusiasm for everything you do. Also your Clarity team is absolutely AMAZING! You really do have the right recipe for a continuing success – as long as you don’t run yourselves into the ground on the way! Congratulations on finding such a brilliant way out of a very sticky situation.
By the way, I absolutely LOVE the new advent calendars. I’ve ordered the complete pack and have already been notified that it’s on its way, I’m really looking forwards to receiving it in the next day or two but I’m going to put it away until after Christmas so I can have plenty of time to create the calendars for my grandchildren next year. I’m planning on making a stack of boxes like Paul demonstrated on the show so I can put little surprises in them to go with the calendars.

You and your entire team are amazing, Barbara. Unfortunately many companies may have suffered under the strain of the last month, but Clarity has gone from strength to strength. You have hundreds (?thousands) of loyal customers who support you every step of the way. I love Clarity Social TV, your blogs, the website . . . in fact everything Clarity. A difficult time but in true Clarity fashion you & the team have come up with a great solution – Clarity TV. I am loving the demos that you are able to do to the end & with the downloads to go with them that is a great addition. You are able to answer questions & go off piste if necessary to try things out.
Having done the SHAC since lockdown you were already one or even three steps ahead of many other companies in being able to do the Facebook lives – now with the addition of the workshops this is growing into a great outlet for the company.
Perhaps the addition of more guest presenters to give you & Paul a break could be the way forward but one day at a time. One consolation is that there are no more road trips up the M11 but on the downside Paul misses out on his chicken nuggets 😂

I would like to take my hat off to you, raise a glass and commend you for everything you have achieved in the last Month and will go on to achieve in the future. You are exceptional and second to none with your ethos. Your kindness and energy knows no bounds. I found that out first hand when I spoke to you a little at the Clarity open days, about hating social media and being bullied throughout my life at school and in the workplace. So much so I won’t join any forms of Social Media in case ‘those horrible people’ trace me. Hence why I don’t see clarity worldwide. You kindly took me over to Grace who you assured me would help me set up a non traceable Facebook account (and Grace I haven’t forgotten, I still have your email safe and sound. I’m just trying to pluck up courage to take the leap of faith)
That’s why I love Clarity so so much. I feel safe and so happy I’ve found a group of people that show nothing but kindness.

We were both at work at 9 this morning playing catch up, me after a weeks holiday. It is always quite at that hour of the morning, just before we open to our customers and you have the time to think. It is great to hear that everything is going well with your new way of working. I love your new shows and am supporting you the best I can. As everyone has already said I am amazed at your awesome reaction in the face of adversity. The Clarity Team seem to have gone over & above every obstacle from where I’m sitting.

Glad to see things are on the up. I’m enjoying the reruns of clarity TV. Once I have enjoyed the banter with you and Paul, its great to learn some new tips. I have spent the best part of two days looking for my companion swatches to use but alas I still can’t find them. I even resorted to looking at past orders on my account to make sure I hadn’t imagined buying them. But nope they have definitely been brought so back to hunting tomorrow. Carry on the great work but remember to rest as well .
