Thanks for popping in. Just got in from Day 1 of our Clarity retreat. I think the projects we covered were well received. Most people seemed pretty happy with their day’s work.

I’m always rather apprehensive before a workshop, especially when there’s a brand new technique on the menu. But to be honest, whilst it’s true to say you can’t please all the people all the time, the results speak for themselves . And when I took a stroll around the room to check in on the guests and the finished art at the end of the day, I was bowled over. Absolutely super effort.

Day 2 tomorrow. More creative play, new techniques, tricks n tips. I’m really looking forward to it. Such a great bunch of crafters and friends! It’s so good to spend time with these people. It’s when you see the sense of accomplishment in their eyes – there’s nothing like it.

The Collage Process works!!!!! It’s one thing when you manage it yourself; it’s another thing to a room full of people nail it !! Was it everybody’s cup of tea? NOTHING is everybody’s cup of tea – EVER. But yeah. I got pretty good feedback from the room when I read it. There was a bit of “the windows are a bit fiddly”, and Fran with a Plan cracked me up when she announced “All my doors are round the back!”
