On the Wing – Design of the Week

On the Wing – Design of the Week

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. Just got home after DAY 1 of our Clarity Retreats. I must say, it was so good to see old friends and meet new ones. I thoroughly enjoyed our arty play, and I think the general consensus was positive. So roll on DAY 2 tomorrow!

Ut’s Tuesday, so that means it is that time of the week again where we shine a light on a favourite design. This week we take a look at our Feathered Friends, illustrated by our other firend, Mel Turner. What an artist, eh!?

We also made a fantastic bijou version

To celebrate being in business for 30 years this year, we focus on a popular design, with 30% off + Club discount for a week! Available HERE

How about some inspiration from the design team

Fantastic artwork by the DT. These stamps come with masks too. If you make to sell, then these make perfect notelet sets too. And everybody loves to receive a little Notelet set as a gift!

Time to go and put the kettle on. We need more teabags for Thursday!

Quote for today?

The Good Life is a process, not a state of being.

Love always

  1. So sad not to be there this time. I think I have most of these stamps, and never think to do paper piecing with them. I’ll make a set of notelets for a fundraising tombola prize I think! Enjoy the rest of the week x

  2. Glad you had a good day. Time to put your feet up and enjoy that cuppa.
I use both the big owls and the bijou set a lot in my scene building, and the geese are just made for Christmas projects.
The design team have done you proud again, so much talent.
    Stay safe.

  3. One down, three to go – glad you have had a good first day on the Retreats. Oh to have been a fly on the wall to listen to all the chatter & banter of which I bet there was loads.
Hopefully there will be some photos shared at the weekend when it is all over.
Meanwhile those at home can peruse the many YouTube videos etc that are available under the heading Inspiration on the website. Surprising what you find when mooching !!

  4. Glad you and every one enjoyed your first day. Bet the tea bags were a success, if you have to safe more. Enjoy the rest of the week.

  5. Hello Barb, so glad the retreat is going well. Love these feathered friends, fab designs, and beautiful arty inspiration. Greta quote too. Take care everyone. Bx

  6. I, for one, had a wonderful time on Tuesday and Wednesday. Great projects, great teaching from Barbara. The only fly in the ointment was a truly awful journey home on Thursday, but I have now recovered more or less. At one stage, I was convinced I could never do that trip again (2 miles from home, I think someone tried to get me on a crash for cash, but, fortunately my brakes and reactions were brilliant), but now I am ready for October. Looking forward to putting some of what I have learned into action, including how to spot idiots on the road. Thank you, Barbara, and the whole Clarity team for a wonderful time. I would also like to thank the lovely people on Table One, who did so much to help me in so many ways. xxx Maggie Craner (Silvercrafter)
