I won’t woffle on this evening. It’s been a long day. But I am happy to tell you that I have pretty much completed all my prep for the Birthday TV Shows this weekend! Woohoo!! Boxes of it! Now you know how I spent the weekend: preparing for the next one! Something not quite right there….
Love always

It certainly got my attention 🤣🤣 good luck for the weekend – you’ll blow the doors off Barb xx
I’ve always loved these garden birds stamps – have had them since back in the day! So looking forward to this weekend’s shows – got them all in my diary! Hope you get time to enjoy it too, amidst the onslaught! xxx
I adore these birds. Had a nest near my last home and missed watching them on the bird feeder. I made several of them from the cut cards and have them hanging in my conservatory.
Received my club package today and found the news letter thought provoking. Maybe I’m old fashioned but courtesy, kindness and good manners cost nothing and snarls, shouts and rudeness are appalling.
A smile goes a long way and does more good in the end.
Glad all your prep went well, perhaps you will now be able to relax a bit before what looks to be a very busy birthday weekend. Looking forward to it.
Love these birds, have most of these apart from a couple of the groovi plates. Hopefully you will be able to get some rest before the birthday shows at the weekend. Take care. xx
What else can you call these birds other than Blue Tits – the name they have always been known by.
Whatever they are called they are a great set of stamps & Groovi plates.
Hope you still managed to get some time off with Dave yesterday after doing the prep for next weekend. I wonder how many demos you will be able to get through during the 8 hours of shows.
Thank you for this months club envelope, all the projects are great but your letter was a sad read, how can people be so demanding & rude when they are taking advantage of such an excellent sale offer from yourselves. Would they rather you sell out & say sorry there are no more than wait a bit longer & have items made especially for them. Hopefully these people are really in the minority of your customers.
Your priority now is to get ready for your holiday xx
Hello Barbara
I am wondering if the people complaining about waiting for their sale orders are comparatively new to Clarity and don’t understand the company’s ethos etc. The are probably used to ordering from large multi nationals with oodles of staff etc.
I know there have been customers in the past who have been rude and obnoxious, but it does seem to have escalated.

I love these stamps. Thanks for all the ideas of how to use them. I got my club things yesterday and was was shocked and sad to read your letter. Your staff always do their best for us and don’t deserve to get abused like that.
Love and hugs to all at Clarity
Yvonne
In company with all the other people who have already commented, I am horrified and very sad to read about the agro and abuse. Clarity has always had a well-deserved reputation for great consumer care. The staff always go more than the extra mile to sort out problems. I was always taught that politeness costs nothing, and, actually achieves more than getting abusive. (I even managed to stay polite while trying to get some kind of service from a very large company.)
On a happier note, I have always love these beautiful Blue Tits, even when the little ones do a vanishing act. They are very good at flying. xxx Maggie Craner (Silvercrafter)
Blue tits are their name, goodness knows what C&C would have made of your recent doodling “boobs” in the SHAC! And heaven knows how they reacted to your beautiful Nursery Rhyme chart and stamps, and got to the letter W and Wee Willie Winkie! 🤣🤣 (In the mid seventies The Sensational Alex Harvey Band sang “There’s no such thing as a dirty book, it’s just the way you read it”! So true! 😄)
Your Nursery Rhyme chart, of course, was where Clarity started 30 amazing years ago! Many congratulations Barbara and all of Team Clarity on three decades of fantastic innovation, inspiration and imagination – you are the best! So looking forward to the weekend celebrations on the telly and some brilliant goodies to tempt me, especially the lino cut stamps!
Try and ignore the negativity, Barbara, and feel the real heart and soul of the Clarity community you have created, nurtured and grown over 30 years – true friendship, love and creativity! Thank you 😊
When I do my RSPB big garden bird watch, I note down how many ‘baps’ we have in the garden!

What a waste of energy! @clarity never knowingly let us down. No time for moaning.
Looking forward to the Birthday weekend. Love this months stamp right up my street. So sorry to read about the difficult customers in your newsletter. I used to work on the DSS reception and we were yelled at a lot. I used to justify it because people only came to see us when something stressful had happened, redundancy bereavement illness etc. I later worked on the phones for M and S and encountered similar yelling, on one occasion because the Paddington Christmas baubles had sold out or because of missing parcels. Some of the younger staff couldn’t cope with it so I advised them to try not to get too stressed over what was essentially “lost knickers”.
So although the wonderful people at Clarity shouldn’t have to contend with this I hope they canjust smile to themselves and think “blue tits and knickers”
