In the SHAC on Create & Craft

In the SHAC on Create & Craft

Hi there

Thanks for popping in.

I hope you can join me on Create & Craft at 5pm for all things in the SHAC – Stay Happy And Creative. This month I am will be showcasing those fabby mandala designs we created together in the SHAC back in September and October 2020!! It took us 8 sessions to complete the designs! No wonder! Wait till you see them as stamps!

Do you remember?

I will also be showcasing our Coronation Collection of Stamps and Groovi

Would be rude not to, what with the upcoming Garden Party next week, and then the Coronation and all the celebrations!! I am getting quietly excited. Bit nervous too. I’ve never been to the Palace…still need to find a hat…

Here is some inspiration from the design team

Quote for the day?

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.

I don’t. Not any longer. Do you?

Love always,

  1. Well yes…..but he’s a cat!
    Love
    Maggie (Bendy Yorkite)
PS hope your curtsey is better than Liz Truss!!

      1. I hope all is well with putz. Bendycat just hates to go to the vets (it’s the dogs barking that does it!)

  2. Love the quote! Beautiful mandalas, we spent hours enjoying those. See you at 5, keep safe, and warm! It’s still cold for the time of year here. X

  3. I enjoyed the mandalas, still look back at all I did and can’t believe some of it – well all of it if I’m honest ! Looking forward to the show. X

    1. I agree! Firstly, I didn’t think I had done the mandala, but looking back, I did! Didn’t think that I had been that clever! Hahaha..x

  4. I love the samples that have been made! Wish I had them now!!
What colour hat are you thinking of wearing, or will it be a fascinator?
    I like the quote too!
Looking forward to seeing you on tv.

  5. Like several others I still can’t quite believe what I managed to achieve when I look back through my Shac folder. I’m so glad you are continuing with it. Hope the shows go well, I’m sure they will. Do you really have to wear a hat? I really can’t do hats or shorts they just look awful and I’ve been trying for 60 odd years from the cheapest to horrendously expensive but I’m sure you will find something as you always look lovely xx

  6. Really looking forward to the show later – I love the mandalas – getting them out again now. the samples are lovely!
You must be getting excited now – the Garden Party will be such a wonderful experience, enjoy every minute – can’t wait to see the photos! Love xx

  7. Thoroughly agree with that quote.
I have not done the SHAC sessions yet but I do love mandalas. Seeing these samples and stamps ( are they brand new ? ) I may have to unlock the vault. Terrific artwork.
    Travel safely today.

  8. Can’t wait to see the photos of you and Dave all ‘gussied up’ for the garden party. Love the look of the stamps but will have to wait as I have treated myself a bit too much recently! x

  9. Loved doing the mandalas during shac.
Bought stamps first time round, used them a few times.
Astounded by the beauty and creativity of all the design team samples.

  10. Great show, lovely design samples, lovely memories of our Lockdown Shac. Looking forward to today’s shows.

The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time – a quote on my Grandson’s wall

  11. Hello Barb, I missed the show 🙁 Will have to watch on catch-up, the samples are amazing. I bet you are excited, please try take some photos to share with us all. Love the quote. Take care everyone. Bx

  12. I have the original mandalas which we drew in the SHAC & really must make more with them. I enjoyed drawing them but the stamps are so much quicker & the masks make them into a whole different art. Need to get some plants into the garden before they die & then I can escape to my craft room & play – on the other hand if it carries on raining the garden will have to wait !!
