A Room with a View – with Dawn & Dean!

A Room with a View – with Dawn & Dean!

Hi there,

Thanks for popping in. Sun’s out – and these dies are just the ticket for a day out on the top deck of the bus from Tunbridge Wells to Brighton!

Lovely Dawn Wheeler was shining a light on some of our Fresh Cut Aperture dies yesterday evening, and I was personally delighted to see that good old Dean Wilson was the presenter. If you remember, Dean and I used to work together years ago, and boy! Did we have some laughs. So two of my favourite TV presenters together, showcasing our lovely lovely Room with a View Aperture dies, designed by Mel.

They tessellate too, so you can join them up, or they split, so you can make tall panel cards. I love these!

Perfect for all occasions actually, from Birthdays to Christmas. A very classy style indeed.

And the little quarterette dies! Well, they are sublime. Look how I trapped the scrap to make more arty cards!

Here is some inspiration from the Design Team:

Dawn and Dean are on again together today, at 10am and 2pm, so do join them if you can, for a couple of hours of entertainment, art and lovely demos.

Quote of the Day? I was considering a lovely morning walk, before 10am!

  1. It’s wet and misty here today so no walk planned at this end! First rain for a good few days. Enjoy. Hx

  2. Wow,wow, wow! Those card samples are beautiful! We have drizzle at the moment, but the last two days have been glorious! Can’t gofora walk yet, we have workmen in! Can’t concentrate on anything! Shall watch at 10 am today.
Enjoy your walk. A trip on the top of the bus sounds a superb idea! If only I could climb those stairs! Haha🤣

  3. Morning Barb, these dies are lovely and so easy to use. I don’t have them all, but maybe at some future date (have had to lock the bankcard away for a while!). Another fabulous quote and as always beautiful samples to inspire. Hope you enjoy your walk. Take care everyone. Bx

  4. I especially like today’s quote – one of my favourites!

    Lovely samples!

Take care, spring is here – enjoy………
    Love

  5. No sunshine today, the rain has returned but we have had 2 lovely days so we mustn’t grumble. April Showers & Bank Holiday weekend coming is the reason for very mixed weather.
Love the dies & have just switched on to see Dawn to find she is on her own but doing a sterling job of demonstrating the dies & designer card. Will check back later to see what happened.
Hope you get to your pottery class today & get to go on the wheel.

  6. Just watching Dawn and Dean. Love these dies. Weather here in Epsom is not as nice as yesterday but the sun has got his hat on.

  7. Sunny but not so warm today.
These dies are great, love the samples. Haven’t caught any of the shows so will need to see on catch up if I can find it.
Hope you enjoyed your walk in the sunshine.
Booked in for the Spring COVID booster jab in May, didn’t realise they were still doing them but I suppose at my advanced age it makes sense to take up the offer as I hear the bug is still around.
    Stay safe. 🍒🍒🍒

  8. Who can forget your demonstration, accompanied by Dean, of how to shrink plastic? No matter how many times I watch it, it still makes me laugh!

  9. It’s rained for most of the day and sadly no walk for us. Behind on TV and Youtube this week for various reasons. Hope your day of ‘sketching’ was successful.

  10. Oh Barb, I always enjoyed watching you and Dean!
He is the best in my eyes.
I love your quote of the day too.
