Tied with love and a Ribbon

Tied with love and a Ribbon

Hi there

Thanks for popping in. It’s been a while since we showcased a set of brand new grids, (January this year) and it’s been even longer since we showcased ribbon grids (June last year!). SO we’re very excited to be bringing you a beautiful collection of brand new, fresh-out-of-the-oven ribbon grids. And what’s more, they’re based on a diagonal grid – which is very welcome, because they are much more challenging freehand, and they always looks wonderful, don’t you think?

Feast your eyes on these large A4sq. beauties, designed by Josie Davidson.

You can use them with and without ribbons…

Paul will be showcasing these beautiful pieces created by Josie, Glynis and Jane over the 4 hours

Here is some inspiration from the Design Team…

Quite something, don’t you think? Imagine having to count the perforations and cut lines. Nah. Give me a Groovi Grid ANY ANY ANY day!

The previous Ribbon Collection, also large A4sq. is based on a Straight Grid. Very clever too…

Some more inspiration from the Design Team

Grid frames like this always need a centrepiece, so we will be featuring my Floral Alphabet & Numbers Collection on the show too.

A little more inspiration

So I hope you can join Paul at 6pm & 9pm tomorrow, Wednesday, and then again at 10am and 2pm on Thursday

Create and Craft – Sky 683, Virgin 748, Freesat 813, Freeview 85

I have a feeling these ribbon options plates will be very popular.

Love and Hugs

    PS the artwork is SUPERB.

  6. Oh my these look amazing. I’m in awe of all those wonderful patchers that have the patience to complete such stunning artwork.

  7. Looking forward to the ribbon plates. I love ribbon on parchment. As a trad parcher I used to make a template from a thicker parchment called “flex”, and perforate with 4 needle tool; I still have those well used templates! See you tomorrow. X

  8. Hello Barbara
Can hardly wait for these to be showcased as I love Josie’s grids. I have used strips of designer papers instead of ribbon sometimes as I like the look of the patterned papers against the ‘white’ of the parchment.

  9. I love all Josie’s grid designs. As you say so much easier than all the counting although I do like doing that as well. These look great. x

  10. Hi Barb, gorgeous designs and stunningly beautiful artwork, I am sure many Groovers are chomping at the bit to get their hands on these plates. Take care all. Bx
