Thanks for popping in. Take 2. Let’s look again at the landscape we built out of one of the Scenescape Masks recently.
This was yesterday’s blog, using the new Dandelion stamps…
This time let’s use darling Ani’s flyaway boy – my absolute favourite stamp ever…
Slightly different mask layout, different central image, different new Companion Paper, but also from the Waimea Falls Companion Paper book, and a wonderful script from the new Reflection stamps…
Here is another step by step, once again using an Embedder. I get so many messages as to how to use these. It really is a piece of cake.
Secure the right size embedder for the imprint effect on the front of the artwork, using a piece of low-tack masking tape wrapped over.
Flip the artwork over and place on a sheet of copy paper. Using your thumb, rub hard along the edge of the embedder on all four sides, until you see where it is located. The go back over the same faint imprint with your No. 2 ball tool from the Groovi Start Kit. You can buy this tool separately, too.
When you have gone round all 4 sides, remove the embedder to reveal a wonderfully classy embedded effect, just like a printing press emboss.
Now it’s time to layer up. Pick one of our new plain colour companion papers. They really are excellent. So many classy colours.
Pick the one which speaks to you, trim it back to size, and mount, using our Tape runner.
Mount on a 7×7 inch white cardblank, then add the finishing touch, the sentiment…
So simple, so elegant, so atmospheric, so effective. All in all, a very achievable artcard.
Time to stop. It has been a long day, although this arty intermezzo has done me the power of good.
Love and hugs
