Doodle Panels, Apertures & Edgers!

Doodle Panels, Apertures & Edgers!

Hi everyone, Paul here.

I hope you are all well. I seem a little out of sync this week. I think it must be staying in a strange house, not that Barb and Dave’s house is strange! I suppose it is what you are used to, at least I don’t have to worry about jet lag! Ragna and Erik have got used to the new routine (still not sure which is Ragna and which is Erik!) although I know that one of them comes running with the sound of a packet of crisps or biscuits rustling!

Anyway, I promised you yesterday that I would share some of the artwork that the design team have come up with using the latest addition to the Doodle Frame-Its range of Fresh Cut Dies – panels, apertures and edgers!

Let me introduce you to them, the dies not the design team!

The first two sets – Doodle Scallop Frame-Its Panels and Doodle Heart Frame-Its Panels – these two sets give you what I call “floppy” bits – they cut “out” rather than cut “in”. You can see from the images below that we have taken the same designs from the original collections and adapted them so that you can enhance your work further. You will notice that some of the designs have been adapted to give you a solid piece and an outline piece together with some straight edged panels

Then we have the Doodle Frame-Its Apertures – these cut “into” the card, perfect for multi-layering and pattern creations and finally the Doodle Frame-Its Edgers – this set has one cutting edge along the length, some decorative and some straight

Here is some inspiration from the amazing design team

Due to popular demand, we have added another essential Nested Shape to our collection, the Nested Hexagon

Extra early start tomorrow, so I hope you can join me as I put these designs through their paces

Before I go, I just want to share this with you – look what popped up on my Facebook timeline today from 2012!!!! A Clarity Retreat in Cowden – not sure if it was something I said which cleared the room, maybe it was “the shop is open!”

How things have changed – not only the venue, the product range and the content. If you are looking for 2 days of amazing fun and tuition from Barb, then why not join us in August at The Ditton Community Centre in Aylesford near Maidstone in Kent

Available to buy online HERE or give Jeannie a call on 01732 868215 Monday to Friday between 8am & 4.30

Happy crafting!

  1. These new dies are going to be so useful !! now will they go on my shopping list for Ditton or jump straight in my basket ??
Safe trip tomorrow up to Oundle & back to Ragnar & Erik.

  2. You could also have cleared the room by shouting ‘cake’! All us Groovers seem to love it.
These dies are gorgeous and the DT samples are stunning, as always. Safe travels tomorrow and enjoy the shows. X

  3. The new dies look brilliant, a great addition to the range. Looking forward to tomorrows shows. xx

  4. Hello Paul, what lovely samples from the DT with these dies, really great designs, have popped them on my wish list, now just to leave that where Hubby can see it! Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx

  5. I have just watched both your shows and really enjoyed learning about the new dies. They are brilliant! No hesitation in ordering ! Thank you xx

  6. Watched both shows Paul (had to record) and I really enjoyed them. Put in an order via Clarity and just wish I could have afforded them all. I will see how I get on with those I have bought first. Samples are beautiful.

  7. I went to my first Clarity retreat with my sister in a little village hall like that! Looking forward to coming to Ditton in August too although with the price of car hire at the moment it’s likely to be the last time I can come!!!

  8. Loved your shows Paul. My dies arrived so quickly I couldn’t believe it. Love the DT inspiration so can’t wait to try them out
