Too wet to go for a walk?
Hi there.
Thanks for popping in. Been nose to the grindstone all day, prepping for Sunday. It’s been raining cats and dogs over our house! What about over yours?
Ragnar and Erik are so funny in the rain. Bored indoors today….
Have you ever watched a cat try to run across the lawn without touching the grass?! They flick their feet as they scamper/levitate. Hilarious. Five minutes max and then back in the house. Five minutes indoors and they want to try it again. In, out, in, out, in. IN. Mummy has to get some work done, not be the doorman!!
Got way more demos prepped than I’ll be able to get through on Sunday, but that’s okay. I do like the toadstool. Here’s a quickie demo, using those Distress Oxides we used in the Moment of Clarity Craftalong on Wednesday evening. Dry and Wet.
I could play all day with these little stationery stamps. However.
I’m in need of some fresh air, wet or not. The clear advantage I have over the cats – apart from not minding wet feet – is that I can wear wellies!
Stay safe, stay dry!
Love and Hugs,
Barb xxx

Hi there, It’s dry here but overcast. I’ve been trying to turn my mind to prep for Sunday, too, but it hasn’t been nearly as productive as your day! First day back in the building.
Looking forward very much to Sunday afternoon and Monday when I will have a day off!
Hope you didn’t/don’t get too wet when you went/go out. I’m just watching my baby starlings all fighting like cat and dog over the food. There are 9 feeders and 3 dishes so loads of food. Plenty for all the birds in the area and yet still they want to fight for top spot! Anyway, hope you have a good weekend. Lots of love. Hxx
Bless them yep they don’t like getting wet xx loving the look of the new stamps and can’t wait to see the demos on Sunday xx always worth being over prepared you never know how much you will get through xx been dry here in East Yorkshire but full xx enjoy the walk
Fingers crossed for Sunday xx
Lovely day here in North Wales. Had a visit from my granddaughter haven’t seen her since Christmas 2019. Home for her brothers 21at today. Love seeing the little Vikings they are beautiful. Looking forwards to seeing you on the telly on Sunday ,I can understand you being a bit apprehensive but all will be ok.xx
Cats are funny creatures, one of mine can always find a dry spot under the bushes in the rain and comes back indoors dry but her sister hasn’t got enough brain cells to figure out where to shelter! Both out lying in the sun at the moment. Been a beautiful day here, but the traffic is horrendous. Just been to get my shopping and it was stop start all the way. Goodness knows what it will be like when they have the G7 meeting here next week with all the road closures, security and journalists and probably protesters. I will stay in my own little garden. Take care xx
Lovely day here now although it was cloudy first thing. Hope you managed to get a walk without getting too wet. The picture of the cats in the wellies is brilliant but realised they are not Ragnar & Erik at least not as they are now – too much white on their legs.
The toadstool looks good as well.
Had a glorious sunny day here all day! Went out without a cardi!!! Traffic was awful! It was worse than before 1st pandemic!!!!😳😳. Hope rain stops soon for all southerners!
Definitely a Puss In Boots day today. Love the photo.
Wet and warm here today. Drizzly at first but then bucketed down when I got out of the car to get my Pneumo jab. Feel a bit like a pin cushion now. Just want to go to sleep.
Looking forward to Sunday shows. The prep looks great.
Stay safe.
Hi Barbara it has been raining here. We did go out in the rain I needed to clear my head. I love what you are making. The shows on Sunday will be fabulous. Have a good evening. Take care. Hugs xxx
Ha ha love the pic of the kittens in the wellies x
Sorry to say it’s been a beautiful day here I. Cheshire, great weather for cat sunbathing.
We’ve had a small amount of rain but I managed to get washing dry. I love these stamps I’ll definitely be there on Sunday. I’m having to knuckle down and clear my late SIL’s stash. Not altogether my style but there’s so much there so made 20 cards for Guide Dogs to sell on their merchandise stall at a local Fayre. So tired now, been awake since 4am 😩
Grey and wet all day here too, so it gave me a great excuse to spend the day crafting! My cat, Benji, has been just the same as your two – wants to be outside but hates the wet, poor boy.
Hi Barbara
Lovely day in Somerset, had a trip to Glastonbury then back home to sit in the garden for the rest of the day.
Our two boys will not even venture outdoors if it rains definitely fair weather cats. It’s lovely to see the Vikings looking happy and content they look great in wellies 🤣
Hope all goes well tomorrow 👍
Love Ruth & Jackie xx
Sorry Barbara been a glorious day here. I have been trying to make the most of this wonderful sunny spell. Will have to watch Sunday to see what you do with these stamps. They certainly look interesting. x
Wishing you all the best for Sunday Barbara. I am sure you,ll do great. Can’t wait to watch the program, to see what you’ll do with the mini stamps.Love your tabletop cats. X
Glorious day in Fife Scotland. Spent time tidying in garden.
Declined to do camelot initially but love the colouring so tonight started at episode 1 and hope to catch up. Struggled with frame but once I sussed that out I was more relaxed.
Wishing you a good weekend. Got recorder set
We had a lovely day here in Tadcaster and got loads of the garden weeded and sorted the greenhouse, both been preying on my mind. Loving the shac shac though it’s hit and Miss whether I get to do it or not which upsets me but I can usually get to see the amazing artwork done by everyone at the end of the day. Awesome . I record most of the sessions so hope I will catch up one day. X
After a dull day with lots of little showers we got up to a gloriously sunny day here in north wales. An early morning walk along the beach and then a lazy day sat in the sun. Our dog is the same when it’s wet tries to avoid the grass and is in and out all day x
Hello Barb, it was a dreary rainy day here yesterday too, but today looks promising. Love the pictures of the Vikings on the table and of the little Wellie kittens. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx
Love the toadstools. We had beautiful weather yesterday but today when all 12 of my family are hereto celebrate, amongst other things like some freedom, a birthday, yep….it’s raining cats and dogs!
Oh well , it might, just might be better by this evening.
Be with you tomorrow I hope. Have some chill time Barbara.x
