Monday – And a New Weekly Idea

Monday – And a New Weekly Idea

Hi there.

Thanks for popping in. Apologies for not blogging this weekend. Took a couple of days out to regroup and reflect. Very difficult to see the spot you’re standing on, isn’t it? Sometimes you have to walk away to gain a little distance. Then, after a little while, things become clearer. There’s nothing bad or sad going on, at least not in our little bubble, but there are things which need my attention, Clarity things, and a clear head is essential if I’m going to make the right move. It’s like a game of chess; you have to consider all the potential outcomes before you make a move.

Here at Clarity we’re excited to introduce an new weekly idea. We’re calling it

Every Monday, we’ll be shining a light on one of our finest Clarity products, and offering it to you at an irresistible price. As with our first Offer of the Week, it may even comprise a Design Collection – here we offer you the LOVE Design both as a Stampset AND as a Groovi plate. That way all our customers are included – parchers and stampers alike.

During the course of the week we will also

  • be showcasing any relevant Youtubes,
  • creating a gallery of art samples,
  • creating step by step photo projects on the blog (s)

Basically, we will have a really keen single product sale every single Monday – and then we will offer up lots of ideas and inspiration on how to use what you buy! When the parcel of goodies arrives, you will already have a few ideas to try out.

We decided to spread a little LOVE, and launch our OFFER OF THE WEEK with those super SHAC Love Heart Stamp & Groovi designs at half-price. Remember when we doodled this together in the SHAC?

Wherever possible, we will endeavour to reduce the OOTW price by 50% for the week, plus your 10-15% club discount.

Click HERE to take advantage of this offer.

Here are a couple of stamped beauties by Dee Paramour…

And here’s a fab sample stamped on parchment…

I’ve got two fab step by steps to roll out later on in the week: one on card, and one using the Groovi plate.

You may already have these stamps and plates, in which case you can look forward to a couple of very cool projects to follow. But maybe you missed my Doodle Heart the first time round, in which case this week’s OFFER is your chance to take advantage of a half price deal!

Next Monday, this Offer ends, and another takes its place.

Stay safe

Love and Hugs

  1. Good idea fir you to take a couple of days off over the weekend. The funeral certainly affected me, and I was filled with great sadness for a couple of days 😢
Love the new idea of OOTW and how wonderful to be able to see some inspirational ideas for using the product. Take care Barb 🙂💕 love and distant hugs 🤗 Gilly xxx

  2. I was so relieved to see you this morning in the SHAC, was rather worried as you hadn’t blogged! But completely understand and no apologies needed.
Loved the SHAC SHACK this morning, being a Kentish girl, lots of happy memories of beautiful scenery and happy times spent with family and friends in fields and at the coast.
Love the idea of the OOTW, not sure hubby will be! LOL
    Take care, keep safe everyone.

  3. The funeral was just too emotional for me to watch, as it is 6 years this week since I lost my mum and it was too much for me. I observed the Minute’s silence and then reflected on my own.
What a lovely idea to have an OOTW, especially with tutorials and ideas to go with it. The heart is a great place to start.
I love the new SHAC project, but won’t be doodling my own area, as it would be roundabouts and concrete cows – yes, I live in Milton Keynes 😂. Seriously, we do have some beautiful lakes and parks and we are surrounded by several lovely villages, but I shall stick with Kent. Have a lovely evening. Hugs. Annette X

  4. Very worried about you over the weekend but glad you are ok. Everyone needs to take some time to regroup occasionally.
Love this idea of an OOTW.
    Stay safe

  5. What a clever idea – love it.
How’s my favourite boys? (err… the cats, of course)
    Love

  6. Hi Barbara it was quite a weekend with the funeral. It was just the time to reflect. I like the idea of weekly offers. Have a good evening. Take care. Hugs xxx

  7. OOTW sounds a great idea with follow up step by step projects & inspiration gallery. Looking forward to seeing what other plans you & the Clarity have for us over the coming weeks. For now I am ready & waiting with my Love stamp & Groovi plate to see what projects you have for us to have a go at this week & until then I will finish off my Kent doodle for Wednesday.

  8. For me the weekends are for relaxing and in normal days enjoying the family–children and grandchildren or some good friends.
But the time is not normal so I enjoy the weekends on my own with time for crafting or gardening when I have a good day.
Take care and stay save to make the next step.
    Lots of love, Trijntje Huppel

  9. Loved the shack today, have to watch in the evenings on Mondays and Wednesdays but live on Fridays and also most Groovi Tuesdays.
Watching the funeral was so emotional, more so than I expected, cried buckets.
Missed your blogs over weekend, but everyone needs to take time out to clear their heads and you probably need to do it more often particularly with the amount of time you give to us in the Shack and now in the craftalongs.
    Take care of yourself
    Hugs

  10. We all need a little down time sometimes Barbara. Noone expects you to work 7 days a week. Hope you found time to relax and recoup x

  11. I was hoping you would be taking every weekend off and letting Grace take over the blog then. It would save running two and cuts have to come somewhere with half staff at the moment. Perhaps Stuart can have a guest slot for keeping us up with the chickens and all the Clarity news times? At this rate, you will give your whole self away before you notice but it is also good to model cuts for staff.

It was an exceptionally sad weekend, for itself and bringing back other losses for people. It is the Queen’s 95th birthday on Wednesday, so I hope you will focus a love project on her. She will be in our thoughts then, even though she will never know.

  12. Good for you to take time to regroup and have time for yourself. Loving the new weekly offer. Take care

  13. Hi Barb,
Glad you’re ok, I was a bit worried when you didn’t blog! I watched the funeral and was ok until I saw the carriage and ponies. That set me off. I thought it so poignant when all of the troops were standing with their heads bowed and left arms across their bodies holding their weapons. I’ve never seen that before. ( I bet there were a few stiff necks at the end of it though) My heart went out to The Queen however. It was so sad to see her just isolated like that with nobody to comfort her. It will be so hard for her now and I do hope that the others do step up and support her well.
I totally understand you needing time to regroup. I love the idea of the offer of the week too and projects & ideas to go with it. Thank you for that. This first one is fabulous – love that stamp. Love and hugs,Alison xxxx

  14. Hello Barb, glad you took a bit of time out on the weekend. As with most people my heart went out to the Queen on the weekend. I have my Love Heart stamp set, so really looking forward to the inspiration this week. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx

  15. Great idea I have the stamp already but always welcome ideas on how to put it through its paces! Pleased you took time out and you looked full of beans yesterday morning in the Shac Shack. Loving the bus drive through the Kent countryside. Xx

  16. Everybody needs a weekend off from time to time! Self care is a key part of being able to look after others. Excited by the Offer of the Week – I got this set when you first demo’d it in Moment of Clarity, so looking forward to some new projects to try.
