Oops a daisy !

Oops a daisy !

Hi there

Thanks for popping on.

Been heads down and prepping all day for Sunday’s TV shows.

Got some superb new stencil and stamps on the 2-4 pm show. I was up to my elbows in Distress Oxide Spray, alcohol ink, texture paste, gelli plates – it’s going to be a real arty, messy session!

And at 6pm we are launching a fabulous new collection of stamps. Remember those wonderful children illustrations by Linda Williams, that we made into Groovi plates? The little girl at the post box and the other little girl splashing in the puddle? There were 8 altogether – a boy and a girl for each season. Well we’ve turned them into stamps. And they are just beautiful.

Here’s a simple little demo I did, using one of the stampsets with one of the new Backdrop stamps....

Here’s a silent step by step. You should be able to figure it out from the pictures. See if you can talk your way through the steps… If not, then – stock permitting – I was hoping to do this demp on HOCHANDA at 8am on Monday Morning! So you can always tune in then if you’re not sure. Or watch on catch up…

Time to stop. Time to eat. Time to chillax.

Stay safe.

Love always

  1. This looks fantastic – my background stamps arrived yesterday but haven’t played with them yet. Had a headache all day yesterday so have spent today catching up with everything that I should have done yesterday. Told myself I didn’t need these new stamps but love the white image against the coloured background. Will watch carefully on Sunday & record for reference.

  2. Looks fabulous can’t wait to see the stamps fully xx we are all so lucky that you and your team gives us such fabulous artwork to play with xx thank you xx

  3. I’ve been playing with my backdrop stamp today – I love, love, love it. Can’t wait to see the stamps as the groovi plate of the girl in the rain is just lovely. Hope you have a relaxing evening xxx

  4. Oh I love this card the image is so cute. The masks that come with the stamps are fantastic. I have just put my second order in for the sale. I had to get the black Posca pens and some other bits jumped into the basket. Have a good evening. Take care. Hugs xxx

  5. I love the Groovi plates and the stamps look great. Not for me, but I will be watching just to enjoy.
I had my jab this afternoon. Had to queue outside in the pouring rain for 45 minutes and then sit in the freezing tent for another 15, but it was worth it! I felt so sorry for some of the other elderly people though, as they were in wheelchairs, on walkers, sticks etc and it must have been awful for them, although I didn’t hear a word of complaint from anyone. We are a tough old lot, aren’t we? Have a relaxing evening and I’ll see you in Egypt tomorrow. Hugs. Annette.

  6. Hi Barb,
I wasn’t going to get these stamps as I’m on an economy drive! However, having seen this little demo, I might have to rethink my plans. You don’t make it easy to save lol. Love and hugs Alison xx

  7. I am never going to be rich (in money) if I keep buying from Clarity. However these children stamps will certainly enrich my crafting and my well being.
Hubby has his appointment for the jab next week. This is a big relief to both of us as he is in the high risk group. 😷 I have had no side effects from my jab last week. In this area they seem to have the system well organised.
Hope everyone is keeping safe and well. 🍒

  8. This is lovely – just waiting for my background stamps to arrive, so might be playing along with you on Sunday if they’re here in time!

  9. Hello Barb, wow what a lovely image, seems like I am not the only one that is going to be tempted to break my resolution to buy less, use what I have more! Looking forward to the shows. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx

  10. These are beautiful stamps, they are on my must have list, yep I have a list 😂.
