You’ve got a friend

You’ve got a friend

Hi there.

Thanks for popping in.

Here’s a little poppet from the Flower Collection for you called Poppy, framed with the frame from our SHAC-Shack Kite set…

Picked a page with Grace at the top….

Can we clean up the face and get rid of the print? Yep. White eraser pencil.

Colour in, add a drop shadow – then tear up!! Really??

Mmmm. Maybe overcooked it a bit with the tearing! Keeps going undeterred…patches it up a little….mounts it on a Kraft cardblank

Adds a little friend from our Birday set, and then suddenly it all makes sense again.

Friends. A good friend is always there to pick up the pieces with you. Patch things up.

Love and Hugs

  1. That is so beautiful, I love it! Will try something similar with the Christmas poppets, using holly leaves and berries on the frame. Thanks for the ideas.

  8. I had a parcel today with the floral mini poppets – whimsy’s missing but email sent to office – so I can have a play on Wednesday – love the effect of stamping on old book pages. Tuesday is my day for going to Mom’s to do her shopping & have a catch up although with her not going out there isn’t so much for her to tell me so I expect we will sit & do a bit more to the 1000 piece jigsaw that is in progress.
As planned I have spent part of today transferring my doodle on to a piece of your favourite paper – the rest I spent trying to find a stencil that isn’t where it is meant to be, its one way to tidy up my craft room but it’s going to be a long job as stencils are very thin !!
