Woodland Background stamps on the horizon….

Hi there.

Thanks for popping in. Before I head off down the woodland path to clear the old head and blow away the cobwebs, I though I’d share what I’m currently working on: a fabulous pair of Mixed Media Woodland Stamp backgrounds. You know – those superb A5 Mixed Impressions stamps we make. Well, in keeping with our woodland doodles last week, here are 2 sets of fantastic woodland backgrounds to stamp and doodle into. Literally.

It’s amazing what you see in the woods when you look carefully. And it is no less fascinating what you can see when you look at these texture stamps. I look forward to showing you what I see….

They also stamp very beautifully onto those Stampboard Shapes we launched last week….

A little bit from this stamp and a little bit from that stamp… can you spot the bits ? So much playtime here! We are showcasing them on telly for the first time this coming Sunday on HOCHANDA 2-4pm.

They are brilliant for creating great texture background for silhouette stamps, so I have added my all time favourite stamps to the TV show mix: the flyaway boy and girl, the love balloon lass and You hung the moon.

And I thought a couple of lovely silhouette trees would be perfect too. Haven’t had these out of the cupboard for a while. Old is gold sometimes….

And on that note, I am off down to the woods, for a bit of exercise and to do some thinking. Great place for it.

Love and hugs

  1. Those silhouette trees may have been around for a while, but they are new to me. The are lovely. Looking forward to what you create on the weekend shows.

  2. I think I’m going to have to come out of retirement and get a job to fund my crafting. Just waiting for the Poppets to arrive and now these wonderful stamps arriving. Just love your demos

  3. Love these stamps-they are beautiful!
And I enjoyed this morning Shac Shag-love your stories and the great tips you share with us.
Have a peacefull evening and see you tomorrow again.

  4. I love the texture stamps and these Woodland ones will definitely be joining the stash. I’ve also seen the new Groovi plates – wow!!! Looks like we will be on bread and water next week.
Had problems loading YouTube to watch on the lap top at the weekend but tried again today on the main computer and – success🤩
It is ages since I used water colour pencils, normally use paint. Tried a couple of parakeets on the post card then got brave and varied the colours on a few. Really liking this one. Will have to catch up on the rest of the tutorial later in the week.
    Stay safe. 🍒🍒🍒

  5. Hello Barb, Wow, these are great background stamps, can’t wait to see what you come up with for the launch shows. I still have to keep my hands in my pockets and not buy too much yet, it did not stop me however from picking up the super watercolour deal you gave us as well as that cheeky 12×12 pad that fell into my basket. Thanks for all the great products/offers and inspiration. Hope you had a good walk. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx

  6. I think the stamp that came with the flyaway boy is my most used stamp. Love walking through a good woodland, always different depending on the seasons, just sitting and listening to the rustle of the wind through the leaves… Heaven. Xx

  7. Those silhouette stamps are some of my favourite ever stamps. I think I have all of them! Fabulous for transforming a dodgy background or little scrap of designer paper into something very special. X

  8. I do like all of the background stamps which I’m gradually collecting. I’m sure this set will be added to my collection as they are really good. I have the fly-away girl and boy but not the tree, so that just might drop into my basket as well. I’m sure the show will be a sell-out again.
