Beautiful skies.

Beautiful skies.

Hi there.

Thanks for popping in. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular at the moment, aren’t they? Well, they are down here!

I thought I would do a step by step sky, and see what happens…

Here’s the recipe….

Enjoyed that little exercise in skies and landscapes. If you’re looking for the ingredients, here they are:

Woodland Clarity Mask Set

Ducks & Saplings Stampset

Let Heaven Stampset

Artistry Ink Pads

Time to stop for the evening.

Love & Hugs,

Barb xxx

  1. Lovely project. We’ve just come back from a very wet, extremely windy – never heard anything like it – thunder, lightening and hail, we had the lot, even the sun managed to shine. I always think the sky’s are different there. In fact in the car the left hand side of the sky was bright blue and the right hand side dark grey at one stage ! X

  2. Lovely demo barb , started last Christmas card today Tina’s bauble embroidery one , so relaxing have a good evening

  3. Hi Barb, beautiful. Thank you. Nope, nae skies like that here recently, too much cloud. At least the wind has died down some today. Hope you are chilling this evening. Love you xxx
Well folks, you better eat a big bowl of porridge in the morning, 3 easy Misself clues in a row, methinks we’re due another cryptic toughy…!!!

  4. Great card – and I have most of the ingredients except artistry inks and I’m sure Distress will do the job. It’ll be good to make a non-Christmas card!! I used the tree mask on some leaves (I put them on Clarity Worldwide) and have more to do.
    Found Misself quickly this evening.
It’s bitter cold in Kent! Didn’t stay out to look at sunset.

  5. Great demo, just what I needed to get me going on some birthday cards for early next year. This could be adapted for all seasons. Will give it a try.

  6. A brilliant card Barbara, thank you so much for the step-by-step today a gorgeous sunset. We have had some lovely sunsets here too over the last week or so. I haven’t got that stencil or the lovely verse stamp but it will be on my next ‘need this’ list for Clarity.xxx

  7. Super picture which definitely reflects some of the sunsets we have had here but today the weather I have noticed most is the wind that woke us up in the early hours.

  8. Hello Barb, a really beautiful step by step, love the real life colours and there are certainly some beautiful sunsets at the moment. Hope everyone is enjoying the Elf hunt. Take care all. Bx

  9. Beautiful inspiration, we’ve had some stunning sun rises oop norf too.
Enjoying the Elf challenge, found no. 6 that was a difficult one until you find it and then it’s a “Doh” moment lol.

  10. Hi Barb,
Lovely demo & I have all of the ingredients. We have had some beautiful sunrises and sunsets up here lately although on occasions far too much cloud and rain!
    Love and hugs, Alison xx

  11. I definitely plan to try this one, with a couple of essential variations, and much as I love the videos, still pictures do give me a bit of thinking time. Thanks, Barb. X

  12. Sunrises and sunsets in short supply round here. Too many clouds and too much rain, mainly vicious outbursts. Half my shopping is still in the car from this morning as I do not fancy getting wet again. In truth, it is probably colder in the car than in the fridge. Lovely to be cheered up by your beautiful design. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter)
