Youtube Tuesday – Parchlets for Beginners

Youtube Tuesday – Parchlets for Beginners

Hi there.
Thanks for popping in.
A simple little project this week, inspired by my dear friend, Linda Williams, and using Baby plates designed by my other dear friend Tina Cox.
I am blessed to have these two women in my life. They are both thoughtful, kind, generous, creative and clever – a winning combination for sure!
I hope you like the Youtube. It’s a real starting out Groovi one.

  1. Thanks for recording the you tubes Barbara ! I’ve just watched today’s with a cuppa after stopping Groovi Christmas cards to have my hair cut – just going back to them as I’m on a roll! I’ve found the parchlets a great ‘go to’ for a quick, simple and effective card, I can now take them to another level after watching ! I’ve got more papers coming in my second order so will look forward to that ! Thanks again for the sale and the you tubes and everything ! X

    1. P.s I laughed at the ‘twang’ someon put in ! Also I laughed when you said it was therapeutic – I’d been having a panic earlier about being behind with my cards and telling hubby I was finding it stressful ! LOL! It is therapeutic really, he talked me round – probably thinking of all the money I’ve spent on it so had better used it LOL!

  2. Great video today and have also just watched Becca’s debut from last week (don’t know why I’d missed it?!). Thanks both for the inspiration as am struggling a little to get my brain into crafting, p’raps it’s ‘Christmascarditis’ lol!

  3. Hi Barbara and everyone, just watched today’s U Tube even though I started with Groovi when you launched it is always good to go back and refresh things.Great to see things again it was lovely. It is great you can mix Groovi with Fresh Cut dies brillant idea.
Thank you for the wonderful sale .You have a brilliant team I bet they are all working so hard to get us our goodies.
    A brilliant company.
    Lynn xx

  4. Hi Barbara
Well you must have known some of these fell in my basket last week! I’m going to enjoy revisiting thus in the new year when time will be aplenty! Thank you for recording these you tube videos they are great reference points and very much apreciated.
    Love Diane xxx

  5. Always good to have refreshers along the way. I have not been keeping up with my Groovi of late so when I pick it back up I will need all these tips to get me started again. Bet the office is still busy picking and packing after your busy weekend. XX

  6. Evening bloggy friends, hope everyone is well. Awful weather today, lots of rain and dark skies. Think I heard the weather say its getting worse too. Just right for staying in and using new Clarity goodies. XX

  7. Thank you for the you tube today; really enjoyed it.
My first order is on it’s way and although it is not very big, I am looking forward to having a play.
Thanks to all at Clarity for your efficiency in getting the orders out so quickly. You all deserve extra sherry and mince pies for that! 😉 Hopefully you will soon be able to relax a bit. Have a good evening. Annette X

  8. Excellent tutorial, thank you so much. It really does show how easy it is to get a beautiful design from just one simple plate. These YouTube Tuesdays are such a fantastic resource – the perfect inspiration for when mojo has deserted me.

Please, please could we have one from Linda showing how to do the penguins? – I managed to catch the end of it when she demo’d the plates on Hochanda, but I can’t find it now (and I’ve just ordered the penguin plate!!)

  9. Great YouTube today. Love these parchlets. Love all my sale goodies. Having lots of fun.
Finished all my Christmas cards today, all ready for posting.
Now for other Christmas preparations! All the non perishables bought in, butchery ordered, list of perishables made, decorations and tree organised, house thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom, so all I have to do now is sit back and enjoy December – I love Christmas!!!
Hope the doughnuts didn’t run out for your elves who have done a sterling job. I still can’t believe how fast my orders arrived.
    Love to all.

  10. Hi Barb,
Another great video – haven’t got round to playing with these yet so this will come in handy when I get round to it. Finally finished my 120 Christmas cards last night, just got them to write now ( ugh!). Haven’t done much Groovi lately ( other than Linda Page’s class) as I’ve been Fresh Cutting like mad! However, my Gemini can have a rest now. Just want to say a huge thank you to all at Clarity for another brilliant sale. Hopefully, you’ll be able to chill a little soon. Love and hugs,Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Hope everyone is ok and judging by other comments, a lot of you are on the naughty step with me! I must say I was very restrained with my order – didn’t dare spend much ( although I see there are more new plates on Thursday!!) . Love and hugs to you all Alison xxx

  11. Love the card on YouTube Tuesday today, especially the additional subtitles. Do you use an app ‘cause some of the typed words are very funny……’Collette’ for “cor, did you hear that”…….🙊
Looking forward to Thursdays delights on Hochanda, especially if it’s cold & grey like today.🤗

  12. Hello Barb, another superb YouTube, which I am sure will inspire many to start on the Groovi journey. Take care all. Bx
