  1. Hello Paul, thanks for the info when Barbara will be on QVC today. Hoped it would be around 8pm as I’ve got to go out later this afternoon but being in Germany atm I can record the show and watch it later. Love the samples by the design team. They’ve done a superb job! Viel Erfolg und viel Spaß Barbara! XX

  2. Looking at the breakdown of your mileage, our group on Wednesday and Thursday were obviously most helpful in getting things out and putting them away. As for the samples for today’s show, the design team have excelled themselves. They are just stunning, so I hope our new German Groovers can appreciate the hours of work that have gone into producing them, and, at the same time, can understand that they too can achieve beautiful work. Perhaps some of them will be coming over to the Open Days and the Retreats in future. Barbara may have to give us all German lessons so that we can communicate properly. I am not going to say good luck to Barbara as I know she will be brilliant as always. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter)

  3. Oh it’s all very exciting! Good luck Barbara but I doubt you’ll need it! You will have prepared to the nth degree and you know your stuff!
Paul you surprise me!!! I thought you ran about much more than that…. But I think that’s far enough! Interesting that the middle two days you walked the least!!!
Looking forward to seeing Barbara’s German shows later.
    Love and hugs to all
    Xxxx

    1. We obviously looked after Paul better than the other two groups, Jane. To be fair, on the first day, it was setting everyone up to get started and dealing with sandwich lists etc. The last day was partly clearing up so that could account for the differences. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter)

  4. Congratulations Annette. I hate to say it, but apart from the Clarity blending mat and tools (I already had similar items before Clarity brought out theirs), I own every item being featured on today’s show in Germany lol. Love the DT samples and look forward to catching the show!

    1. Sarah, Paul was ready to call the emergency services to look after me at the end of our two days, because I only had one item in my basket. The reason was that I actually already had the majority of the things on sale. My one item was actually the ODS which is several things really. I did think of adding to my parchment stash, but that is already a SABLE (Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy) so I resisted. After all, I need to save myself for Leyburn. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter)

  5. Well done Annette though I was pleased my guess of 5 and a half miles was so close to the average!
Good luck Barbara though I know the products could sell themselves

  6. I have got to be very careful i wanted to learn thai language bought books on line lessons at first doing really well as i thought so i wrote a sentence my son faced time me he couldn’t speak for laughing what’s the problem mum if you knew what you have written on my page you would come off facebook , so i wont even try to write anything in German , enjoy barbara xx

  7. Oh wow! Thank you so much Paul. I am so grateful and will enjoy spending my prize.
I am getting butterflies for Barbara, as I know how nervous she will be, but we know that she will smash it. How can the German crafters not love all things Clarity, when they see the amazing samples from the DT. I am sure that loads of us who can will be watching.
Have a good evening. Annette X

  8. Congratulations Annette.
What a lovely variety of samples. I have all the items used in this demo and am also at the SABLE stage on both Clarity goods and the craft stash I accumulated before discovering Clarity. Keep telling myself I won’t buy anything else then up come some super new items from the team. I will not be able to watch Barbara in Germany but I know she will be brilliant.
Looking forward to tomorrows show with Tina.

  9. Just watched Barbara on QVC – Well done, she was wunderbar. The speed of the demos! -wow. Didn’t we just know she would be sensational.
    Lots of love xx

  10. Congratulations to Annette and I hope all has been plain sailing for Barbara on the programme which has just finished so will try to look on catch up if they have it. x

  11. Just watched Barbara, obviously do not speak German but easy to get the idea. She was amazing far less demo time allowed though I think. As for your footsteps all I can say is Wow!!. You were excellent in all you did. Well done Paul. xx

  12. You survived the show Barbara and didn’t you do well. If you were nervous it didn’t show. What fun watching the live show and trying to get the gist of what was being said. I hope sales went through the roof. The Design Team did you proud. Well done everybody. Well done Annette for being the winner. What next Paul?

  13. Super super SUPER show, Barbara; you just did wonderfully on QVC.de. So many products crammed into the hour. It’s a pity they didn’t allow you more time for individual products especially the Groovi system. It will probably take a more detailed presentation to convince the Germans just how wonderful Groovi is. Their crafting tastes are a little different to the British – being German (living in UK) I can say that but I prefer the British. And of course it is SO helpful that you speak the language so well and no translator is required, which is often a bit ‘off-putting’ (I watch German TV quite a bit). So, keep up the good work – I know you will.
Weiterhin alles alles Gute – Jutta xx

  14. Hi Paul,
Gosh you did a lot of walking that week! Congratulations to Annette as well – enjoy spending your voucher. Just been watching a bit of Barb’s show – didn’t understand a word of the German but could still understand most of what was going on. Barb herself was really good, did t seem flustered at all – well done. Hoping that sales were good, they should be as the DT samples were superb. Sending love and hugs, Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Hope everyone is coping well with the heat. Been gorgeous here today but we have a weather warning in place for torrential thunderstorms, with a month’s rain and possible flooding and power cuts on Friday – can’t wait!!! Well, was signed off from the physio today ( yeah) with a bend of 116 which is the maximum I can expect with this type of joint, so well pleased with that. Went into Durham this afternoon to take some pictures and give my knee a bit of a workout. First time I’ve done any real walking without my stick and knee was a bit stiff and strained going downhill especially but all things considered, I was really pleased. Sitting with ice on it at moment though. Sending love and hugs to everyone, Alison xxxx

  15. Barbara was really good and didn’t look at all nervous. Like Alison, I don’t understand German, but could follow what she was doing. I am so glad it went well and hope that Clarity takes off over there.
Thanks to everyone who has sent good wishes for my win. It is much appreciated. Annette X

  16. Just wanted to say well done to Barbara, what a full on show, I bet you were ‘cream crackered’ after it. Trying to follow with my schoolgirl German after so many years was interesting, and I found it funny when words like ‘shrink plastic’ crept in ! I hope you let us know how your Mum viewed the show. I bet she was as proud as Punch.

  17. Hi Paul
Well you didn’t walk as much as my guess of 11.75, but you still did a lot of walking especially in all this heat. I do hope you had plenty of fans going to keep you all cool xxxx
Well done Annette, I’m sure you will enjoy spending your voucher.
I didn’t get to see Barbara in Germany, but I’m sure she blew them away with all her natural talent.
Love the work from the design team, especially the leaf one, but they are all stunning
    Love & Hugs
    Xxxxx

  18. Hi Paul
What beautiful samples from the design team, what a fabulous way to sell the products. I hope Barbara did well and sales were good. It would have been a walk in the park for Barbara doing what she loves and speaking a language she knows so well. Well done Annette enjoy spending your voucher. You didn’t walk as far as I thought Paul but I’m sure your feet felt it at the end of the day.
    Love Diane xxx

  20. Wow Paul that was a lot of walking. Well done Annette, enjoy your goodies. Hope everything went well for Barbara, I’m sure they would have all been amazed. safe journey back home.xx

  21. My German is very rudimentary but when I went on the website it appeared to be live stream only. Is there any way of watching the show after the event? Glad it went so well!

  22. Hello Paul, I hope the show went well for Barbara, the samples are certainly beautiful and bound to inspire the German crafting community. That is a lot of walking around Paul, well done Annette for guessing so close, enjoy your prize. Take care all. Bx

  23. I am so proud of you Barb. From what everyone is saying, you really did nail it! I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but I will. I clicked on the ‘here’ Paul but it just takes me to the QVC Germany web page. Is there a link to the recording or am I too late? My German is non existent so I can’t navigate their website 😂🤣
    xx

  24. Congrats Barb on your successful launch of Groovi in Germany, but I am a bit mystified, what have you been going over there to do all this time already?
