Meet the Artist – Nikki

Meet the Artist – Nikki

Good evening everyone.

I hope you have all had a good day

and the weather has been nice.
I had a great day in Peterborough,
teaching a lovely group of ladies.
Here is birthday card no.3
from Nikki

So let’s have a look at what Nikki has done……
Nikki has used the Roses plate just as it comes and then used the Happy Birthday corners from the Celtic Corners plate.
Now, I can only have a guess at what Nikki has done, so if Nikki is reading the blog, please correct me!

Trace out the design on Pink Parchment

Remove the colour on the back of the parchment
and then on the back, colour the leaves and roses with either
Perga Liners or Perga Colour Exclusive
Use a Stencil Brush and an Artistry Ink Pad to brush colour around the outside edges, again on the back.
Attach to a card blank with some Perga Brads
So today’s 20% Blog Offer is:

I hope you have enjoyed today’s card.
Thank you Nikki

Tune in tomorrow where we will be getting

inky with stamps and stencils.
Happy Crafting

    1. Hi bloggy friends – hopefully your weather has been better than ours, quite dull today and very foggy this evening!
I'm feeling rather fed up after an appointment with the new M.E. specialist last Thursday. She was really wasn't a very nice lady. She must have mentioned my age at least 4 times and she was horrified how many times I have seen a specialist over the years, plus had the help of 2 Occupational Therapists. She discharged me, as there is no funding. Both Neill and I are feeling so disappointed with our hospital – which has always previously been so good.
I now have to get any help needed from my GP – who is very good – but it's SO difficult to get an appointment with him.
Sorry for my moans, but can't help feeling down at the moment.
Neill is quite good today, so it's not all bad!!
Love and hugs and apologies to you all, Gilly xxx

    2. Hi Gilly,
I'm so sorry! I know what you must be feeling like. It's hard when you get a new consultant who isn't very nice -I'm in the same boat there! It's dreadful that your age has been taken into consideration negatively as well. No wonder you are feeling down. Can you make a regular appointment with your GP? On a positive note though, Neill is getting better which must be a relief to you both. There is no need to apologise either – I might be moaning or crying out for sympathy in a few weeks!!! Try to stay positive . Sending love and special hugs to you both, Alison xxx
