Meet the Artist – Melanie
So lets have a look at how Mel has created her card:
Take a piece of 7″ x 7″ stencil card and attach the
Wild Seed Head stencil by creating a hinge at the top using low tack tape.
Take a selection of the Artistry Ink Pads and apply colour through the stencil using the Spot On Sponges.
Top tip when applying the colour, load up the Spot On Sponge and then dab, dab, dab onto a scrap of paper. Then gently dab, dab, dab through the stencil.
By doing this, you can control the colour being applied.
Lift up the stencil to make sure that you are happy with the result. If you want to apply more colour, you can lower the stencil back in place and continue.
When you have finished, remove the stencil and trim back your work.
Mount onto a black piece of card or paper and then onto a card blank.
Sooooooooo, what shall I add to the 20% Blog Offer?
How about the 5 different stencils Melanie designed,
available individually or as a complete bundle!
