Meet the Artist – Heather & Len
I had to go into hiding at the office!!!!
Take a piece of 7″x7″ Stencil card attach the
Abstract Squares 2 stencil to your card using low tack tape.
Choose a selection of Artistry Ink Pads and then slowly brush in the colours,
one at a time using the Stencil Brushes.
Build the colour up softly and slowly.
(Once you add it, you can’t take it away!!)
remembering that you are going to stamp into the squares
and then colour in.
With the stencil still in place, take a black micron pen
and slowly trace around the inside of each of the boxes.
Take some stamps from the Kitchen Unmounted stamp set
and stamp into place.
Colour with Perga Liners or Perga Colours Exclusive
or any pencil/pen of your choice.
and then add the letters.
Use the same colour Artistry Ink Pads to apply colour
to the boxes and then cut them out and position in place.
Mat and layer on to complimentary backing papers
and attach to a larger card blank.
Take the stencil and then slowly work around the outside
to create an additional border using the
same method when creating the main piece.
Phew!

What a beautiful card that Heather has created. It is always good to see Heather (and Len)at the shows. My daughter is also called Heather, it is such a lovely name.
I love the cake stamps and recently used them on a journal page when I was thinking about my favourite cakes. The stamps were so effective and finished off the page nicely.
Just been naughty and placed a very small order on the 30/30 sale. I could have made it bigger, but decided to be good!
