A real quickie step by step and a must dash!!
Hi there.
Thanks for popping in.
This is going to be the quickest blog post ever, so brace yourself!
So many boxes still to tick before the dash out the door to the NEC tomorrow.
Stamp the finch Autumn round stamp
on a sheet of Shenandoah Paper.
Add a flash of colour with a Perga Liner pencil.
They work beautifully on these papers.
Mask off the birds with the mask which comes with the stamps,
and add a lowlight below with a brush and Moon Crater,
and a highlight above with a brush and Blushing Rose,
Lift the mask to see the contrast.
SLOWLY tear around the stamped image.
Tear towards yourself.
Mount on a piece of the same paper reverse side.
Piece of cake.
Bye for now!
Will blog daily from the NEC.
We have a huge stand C01.
Oh! And we’re doing free Groovi Make n Takes too!
Well, Rosie is! I shall be mopping her brow and signing Calendars! YAYAYAYAY
The new Clarity Calendars are being launched there!
I do hope it’s a good show.
Remember last year the stand collapsed at the end?
What a game.
And folks wonder why we don’t do as many exhibitions anymore.
They are hardcore.
Rosie is doing a live TV show at 12 Noon on Friday.
She is launching the most exquisite set of A6 Art Nouveau Rennie Mackintosh inspired Groovi Plates. There are just 4 of them, but very, very beautiful. Our Jim designed them.
And I’m doing a live show on the Saturday at the same time 12 noon, launching the calendars in fact!
Gotta go!
Love & Hugs,
Barb

Evening Babara, sounds busy busy busy at Clarity. Looking forward to seeing the new calendar and also the new Groovi plates as I love the style of Rennie Macintosh. Hope the show goes well and fingers crossed the stand stays up! XX
Evening bloggy friends, hope everyone is well. Getting colder down here, heating hasn't gone on yet I just keep putting on another jumper! XX
Hi Donna – it's much colder here too! We are sitting in front of a log fire! Love and hugs to you and Phoebe xx
Oh Donna you are being good, trouble is, with 15 jumpers on you can't bend your arms to craft!!! Take care xxx
Hi Donna,
Sorry but I have to have the heating on! For Scamp's benefit of course!! Love and hugs Alison xxx
Oooh must get a calendar! Hope all goes well for you this weekend. I've got classes so won't be there, but will be thinking of you all. Xx
Hope you don't have any mishaps this time, enjoy x and looking forward to seeing the calendar.
That was a great demo!
Get your boots polished and elbows sharpened! Hope the stand stays up til you've all evacuated the building! Have a great show! Xxx
Rennie Macintosh???? They’re top of my list.
Enjoy the NEC.
Exciting times, can't wait to watch the programmes, would have loved to come to NEC to meet the team but unfortunately am working !!! Thank goodness for TV xx
Best wishes for the show, another one I was hoping to get to. Thoroughly enjoyed your Sunday shows with Tina and you managed to do a good demonstration without too much interruption. Have the others recorded, and finally gave in and got some papers, such beautiful colours. Don't think I will want to use them to give away. Safe journey. Love. Xxxxxx
Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday! Love xxx
Can't wait to see xx
Hope the stand stays upright this year. See you all on Friday. Xx
H Barbara – I loved this demo! Mind you I loved all of the demos! The Shenandoah papers are my favourite! Really looking forward to both of the shows and the new goodies too. Have a safe journey, love and hugs Gilly xxx
Hi bloggy friends – I hope that all is as well as can be. We went out for an impromptu lunch today and it was lovely. Keep warm, love and hugs, Gilly xxx
Hi Gilly sending hugs xxx
Hi Gilly,
Glad you had a good time. Wrap up well! Love and hugs to you both, Alison xx
Hello Barbara
Roll on Friday, I love Charles Rennie MacIntosh. If you ever have time when you are at Hochanda there is a house in Northampton that was decorated by CRM. It is called 78 Derngate. Well worth a visit.
Love
Roz.x
have a great show. no nec for me this year, hugs xx
Hi Barbara
These stamps are beautiful and can stand on their own on these gorgeous papers. It always amazes me how the image 'pops' when you brush ink around it ( love the ink names too, moon crater, who thought of that!). Have a safe journey to the NEC and fingers crossed this year the stand will remain standing!
Love Diane xxx
Hi Diane,
Hope you're well, sending love and hugs, Alison xx
I will be there all weekend and I have my shopping list with me.
Hi Barb,
Loved this when you did the demo on tv. Thanks for the step by steps. I ordered the Groovi version of the rounds and am so looking forward to them arriving. Have a safe journey to the NEC and hopefully no mishaps this year with the stand! Love and hugs Alison xxx
Hi bloggy friends,
Hope everyone is keeping warm – definitely colder here yesterday and today. My poor sister arrived back from 3 weeks in Madeira yesterday and is frozen! Sending love and hugs to you all, Alison xxx
Another beautiful creation using the new papers Barbara. I hope the NEC set up goes well tomorrow. x
Looking forward to the weekend shows, desperately tried to resist the fab new papers/parchments but somehow they've been ordered. Will be ordering a new calendar ASAP too! Safe journey, have a fab time and lots of fun xxx
Hello Barb, loved this demo on telly. The stamps work so well on the papers and parchment. Looking forward to the shows, hope the NEC goes well and there are no collapsing stands this year. Safe travels. Take care all. Bx
Have a great time in Birmingham Barbara, I know what a lot of stuff you have to shift, before you come out on top.
I have lost count of how many times I have envied the stampers getting a mask with their stamps. Why cant we have one with our groovi plates? Please?
Hope you have a great time at the NEC and that the live shows go well for both you and Rosie. I also hope that Grace is well, and sending my love and prayers to those affected by the last terrorist act in NYC x
Looks like already for systems go have fun xxx
