That’s all folks!

That’s all folks!

Hi folks!
Thanks for popping in.
And so we waved goodbye to the last group of lovely ladies today,
and whilst it is with a heavy heart that we draw the retreats to a close for another year, it is indeed a great delight to welcome Becka Kempster to the Clarity Team.
Here she is, hard at work on her first day.
I know. Itโ€™s not an easy job, but somebodyโ€™s got to do it…

It has been a full on 8 days, back to back, with such delightful, pleasant, creative people! Each group was as lovely as the next.
Old friends and new….

buddies helping each other…

strangers becoming friends…

I loved every minute of it actually. And thatโ€™s the truth.

So thank you once more to all who attended,
and made the retreats such a blazing success again.
But most of all to our darling Paul.
Churchie, what would I do without you?

Now just give me a week to recover, and then we will be blazing a new monthly workshop trail here in Crowborough.
Not to mention a new chapter in Clarity YouTube World…
Love & Hugs
Barb

  1. It was wonderful Barbara. I know you put a lot of work into the retreats but I am sure I can speak for everyone when I say we do appreciate it. Thank-you for another fantastic year. X

  2. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 days (even though I was a trifle poorly – thankyou to everyone who tolerated my coughing and I hope I didn't spoil it for you too much), I learned such a lot and can't wait to try out some of the projects again when I feel better. Thanks Barb, and Paul who came to my rescue several times!!!!

  3. Hi Barbara
It looks like you had a fabulous time and the workshop gang did too. I would say relax and put your feet up but I know the treadmill never stops. Sounds like there are exciting times ahead at Clarity. Welcome to the team Becka, looks like you fun too.

  5. Hi Barb,
It certainly looks and sounds as though everyone thoroughly enjoyed the Retreats. I know that you put so much effort into them and I'm certain that those attending appreciate all that you do. Hope you do get to have a bit of a rest over the next few days before new ventures begin. Can I also say thank you to the wonderful young man who sorted out my lost edelweiss stamp problem that I was recounting yesterday – it was much appreciated. You have a brilliant team working for you . Love and hugs Alison xxx

  13. Charlotte and I had a fabulous time at the retreat, just what we needed. Loved spending time with you and Paul. Lovely to meet so many fantastic crafters with wonderful hearts. Thanks for the fun, laughter and inspiration. Mx

  14. It must give you such a buzz to have all those lovely people go away with a big smile on their faces Barbara, but I'm sure you are ready for a bit of a breather too. Lovely photos of everybody. x

  15. The retreats are so bloody fantastic because of the amazing preparation that you put into them Barb. We know how hard you work to make each set of two days as enjoyable as possible and boy does it show. I always come away feeling so inspired and raring to go and my sides ache from all the laughs we have. Not sure I will be able to look at Sue Wilson quite the same way ever again!! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
I hope I can come again next year and do it all again. Enjoy a little bit of down time both of you. Can't wait for You Tube Tuesdays. Much love to you all. Xxx

  16. Oh how I would love to come to a retreat, as they sound so fabulous. One day?! Glad they went so well for you and the team.
I received my new Groovi Club plate yesterday and spent a very happy afternoon making the first project. I am so thrilled with it, as even my picot cutting looks pretty good. I am surprised at how my patience has improved, although I nearly through a wobbly on Sunday, when having completed a pretty complex design, I put the wrong letter at the end of the greeting! There was no way to cover it up, even with a butterfly or flower plaster! I have kept the piece as a reminder to check twice and 'groovi' once after being interrupted!
Anyway Barb, thanks for another lovely plate and projects. The talent of you and your team continues to amaze me. Annette X

  17. Thank you all for a fabulous two days and to all the lovely ladies that attended the last two days of the retreat.
I had such a great time and leart such a lot ( even to stand up when using the gel plates lol )
Thank you for all the time and effort you put in to inspire and teach us and to give us confidence to go home and give these wonderful techniques a go and create .
I never knew what wonderful things you could do with just plain old copy paper.
I look forward to seeing you all again .
    Xx
