Thanks for popping in.
Received a parcel today.

It just about sums up Grooviworld, doesn’t it!
Penny has used

  2. Afternoon bloggy friends, hope everyone is well. Horrid weather, for most if the say, bit brighter now but the sky is getting darker as I type! Been crafting some more cards, having fun trying to use things I haven't used in a while. Xx

    1. Hi Donna – it's still very windy here in Cornwall – but not had much rain today – although PLENTY last night. Sounds like you have been enjoying yourself – hugs to you and Phoebe, Gilly xx

    2. Hi Donna like Gilly not much rain here today but very windy. We had a few heavy showers this evening so our walk around the block was the short route at a fast pace in between showers! Sending hugs xxx

    3. Hi Donna,
It's been absolutely foul here all day. Very cold and wet ( torrential at times) . The gardens certainly needed it but not quite as much! Love and hugs Alison xx

  3. How lovely! Beautiful work too. It's lovely when a random act of kindness is extended. Makes your day. Thank you for sharing and thank you Penny for creating such a lovely piece of artwork xxx

  4. What patience this shows, the poem is so true. Safe journey tomorrow Barbara. Grace will be pleased to have you with her. Hope everything works out fine. xx

    1. Hi bloggy friends – feeling much better today, I managed to get my head to win and not my body today. Also managed to get Neill a call back from our GP today – so that he could prescribe better pain relief. So hopefully – fingers crossed – he will have a better night's sleep.
Ooh – almost forgot, I have ordered our tickets for Leyburn today – so that's the goal for us both! Love and hugs, Gilly xxx

    2. Hi Gilly,
Sorry to hear that Neill is in a lot of pain – it's dreadful at night, he has my sympathy. Pleased you've ordered your tickets and I look forward to meeting you hopefully – we've all got something to work towards. Love and hugs to you both, Alison xx

    3. Glad you feel better Gilly, sorry Neill is still in pain, its always worse at night being in pain. Hope he gets a good nights sleep tonight. Hugs Pam xxx

  5. Fabulous work Penny. You have hit the nail on the head there Barbara. It sums up Groovi perfectly.
Thinking of you and Grace, Tina and her Family and Steve.
    Hugs from Chris X

  6. That is so lovely. Must have taken so long to write all those brilliant words. A very clever lady. Sending hugs for you and Grace. I have a lovely rose just coming out in the garden, called Grace. Will think of her when I look at them . Worse luck they are getting battered by the rain and wind. Love xx

  7. That I should wonderful and says just what I have been thinking since the new plates were launched on Sunday! I am 6 months into my Groovi journey and I am loving it more each day, as I improve and gain more confidence. I just wish that I could afford to buy more plates, but at least those I have provide me with plenty of options to keep me going.
Barbara, I wish you safe travels tomorrow and a good outcome for your darling Grace, so that you can enjoy every minute of your time together. Having a daughter living in Vancouver, I understand how hard it can be.
    Take care.

  8. Looking for GROOVi love….sounds a bit dodgy ! But what a brilliant piece of artwork Penny, it really does capture the spirit of we are trying to do here at Clarity.
Those of you who have been patiently waiting for orders, thank you. We are just about to catch up with ourselves..so it will be soon, very soon. ps. love the shading/colouring on the Hares…

    1. Dave, you can only do so much in a day, we will wait patiently for our parcels. As long as I get my tickets for Crowborough by the 13th as we are coming down the next day to make it into a holiday. The other items can await our return home.xx

    2. Dave, I'd much rather wait for longer for my order, than you working all hours of the day. Please give yourself time off to recharge batteries. Don't want you getting sick too xx

  9. How fantastic, that's one seriously talented lady.
I have started making templates of all my Groovi plates to help with composition as Tina suggested, seems obvious when you think about it but it didn't occur to me. I loved what you did with the henna plates on Sunday and thought the same idea could work using some other plates.
Hope you have a good flight tomorrow xx

  10. Spot on! Wonderful words and artwork Penny! Think this one will be on display in the office for all to see.

Safe trip Barb and hugs to both you and Grace, will be thinking of you. Also you Dave… take care and don't overdo work in Barb's absence… xx

  12. Hi Barbara
Wow Penny what a stunning piece of artwork and a brilliant poem. I know I would have got half way through and made a mistake so you must have so much patience. The poem is fabulous, you've got it spot on Penny, well done. What a lovely suprise for you Barbara, just the boost you need as you dash around madly getting ready to fly to Grace and with thoughts of the recent attack in London in your head too. Safe journey tomorrow, I hope you don't have rude airport officials when you land this time. Sending hugs to you all.
    Love Diane xxx

  13. Hi Barb,
Wow, this is absolutely fabulous! I bet you were really blown away when you saw it. Penny, well done! You've certainly summed me up! Hope you have a safe journey tomorrow and that everything goes well for Grace on Friday. Have you remembered to pack a Starter Kit and other bits and bobs for Grace? Love and hugs Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Hope today has been ok for you all. It's been absolutely foul up here today. We went swimming this morning and honestly, I needn't have bothered getting dried because by the time I got to the car I was dripping wet again! I've dried my hair three times today! Let's hope it's better tomorrow otherwise all those bedding plants will be under water!! Love and hugs to you all. Alison xx

  14. Absolutely stunning!
I have been busy today making decorations for my friend's 50th birthday party next month. We are cutting doilies into 6 or 12 and using them as bunting. It is very effective.
Praying for you as you prepare to trace to be with Grace.

  15. What a brilliant card Barbara. The poem sums most of us up. Thinking about you and hopiing everything goes well with your flight and Grace on Friday. Sending love and hugs to you both.xxx

  17. Well Barbara, you have said it all.
Apsolute brilliant I am sure we are at all levels but Penny you give us all insperation to preserve and get there in the end.
We all need a bank manager to bolster our craving for Groovi.
Lots of hugs and kisses to you all.

  18. Hi Barbara. How clever Penny is, poetry as well as Groovi. It's brilliant Penny. Thank you for sharing, Barbara. Glad you had something to smile about yesterday. Hope you have a safe flight. Finally you can wrap your mummy wings round Grace and be mum, take away what you can, and be with her through what you can't take away. Your kids are lucky to have you as their mum. Loads of love, hugs, and positive energy for you and Grace xxxx

  19. Penny, that is beautiful. And the poetry is the absolute truth. My husband can attest to a shrinking wallet. I love all the groovi inspiration on Barbara's Blog. Xxxx. Have a safe trip Barbara and all the best to Grace. Xx

  20. Fantastic poem, I totally agree with the shrinking purse, I was put on an allowance for the year, as I must agree, my spending does get out of control, but I'd gone thru that by Feb, oops.
I love ❤️ your groovi work, it's brilliant & the poem must have taken you hours on that board, but I say def worth while.
    Karen xxx

  21. Barbara, I am sending you & your family, love ❤️ hugs 🤗 & kisses 😘. I bet you can't wait to see Grace & vice versa. It brought a tear to my eye when you said Grace was watching.
    Have a safe flight
    Karen xxxxxx

  22. Wow Penny – that's fabulous! Thought you said you were 'muddling through'?! I'm impressed …. just off to 'create' something with my Groovi now as you've really inspired me! Well done!
Barb – I have to agree with Karen … it was so lovely to hear you say Hi to Grace on the show. She's a lucky gal to have such a loving mum … and I'm sure it's vice versa too. Much love xx
