Transformational.

Transformational.

Hi there!
Thanks for popping in.

Had a wonderful day off.
Went for a long walk in the bluebells,
before they are gone for the year.

Came home to a sunny garden,
and chatted to the robin and the lovebird for a while.
What a lucky girl I am.

Rosie is on the road to Peterborough,
in readiness for tomorrow’s TV shows on HOCHANDA

8am Pergamano.
2pm Groovi.
5pm Stamping.

Before she set off, she sent me a pic of a sample of Dee’s.
She was gobsmacked.
So was I.
So I asked Dee if I could share it with you.

She has turned a horse on the countryside plate into Pegasus!
“And the wings Dee?” I asked, “where did you find the wings?”

I love you Dee Paramour!
You never cease to blow me away with your originality
and creativity.

If you want to meet Dee, come to the Open Days in Crowborough.
She is set to entertain with inkspiration.

And another great bit of news!
Lovely Alex Turchin, the gorgeous presenter from Hochanda?
Well she is also coming to the Open Days on Friday too.
Travelling down on the train from Peterborough, simply because she wants to be part of it all. That’s what I call friendship.

All in all, a blimming excellent day.

Love and smiles,
Barb

  1. What a fantastic artist Dee is, such a wonderful imagination, so talented. Glad you enjoyed your day off and had fine weather to appreciate it. Grandchildren tomorrow (4 and 18 months) so Rosella is on record. How I wish I lived near enough to come to your open days. xx

  2. Fabulous sample and I'm really chuffed Alex is going, she was so up for it when you were talking about it on the show. She will be blown away by the whole event! Wxx

  3. Wow, that's a beauty Dee. What a talented lady you are. Amazing. xx

Hi Barbara, thanks for sharing this masterpiece with us. You do have special talent on your design team. Glad you had a good day off too. Hopefully helped recharge your batteries and let your head have time to do a sort out.

Looking forward to Rosie's shows tomorrow.

Always makes me feel very sad and even more isolated and alone when there's all the talk and excitement of your Open Days, shows, and Retreats. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you, Clarity, your design team and all your customers who have the option of attending. Just sad for me is all. Even if they were on my doorstep I still couldn't attend, because of all the people and them moving around all the time, and the noise, all sorts of noises. But, if you did have one on my doorstep, maybe I could talk you into allowing me a private audience with you!!!!! 😉 Anyway, like I said I'm happy for all those priviledged enough to attend.

Hope you have another good day tomorrow. I think it's starting to warm up a wee bit up here, at last. And maybe, fingers crossed, some of that wet stuff at the end of the week, yay🤗🤗🤗. This scary hose routine out the windows every few days for the past month or so really isn't doing me any good.

    Love Brenda xx

    1. Oh Brenda I can just imagine your excitement if your dream ever came true. I've just been throwing the washing up water around the garden to give the plants a drink but thunderstorms are forecast here for tomorrow. Sending hugs to you and Daisy xxx

    2. Aye, maybe I'd find my excitement emotion that's been eluding me!!! And dreams can come true sometimes, it must be my turn by now….!!! Hugs back xx

  4. Beautiful photo from your walk and well Dee you truly are blooming amazing. I met Dee at the very first open day oop norf I think it was, in Catterick and I've been a massive fan ever since.
Off to set the box up to record for tomorrow. Have a lovely evening Barbara xx

  5. Hi Barb,
Dee – that is absolutely fantastic ! How clever you are! I wish I had your talent, you are one clever lady. Xx

What a lovely gesture by Alex – she is so enthusiastic and eager to learn. How lucky your guests will be to have Dee as a demonstrator. I remember her at Catterick and was so impressed by everything she did. I wish I was going to Crowborough but just too far for me to sit in the car with my knee the way it is. I hope everything goes well. Also looking forward to Rosie's shows especially the new plates. Love and hugs Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Been beautiful day today. We have been down to Bempton Cliffs (RSPB reserve near Flamborough Head) and it was heaving with people. Had. Fantastic time watching the puffins – they are so cute. Did 12,000 steps so that was good but my knee stiffened up in the car on the way back. Recovered a bit now though. Looking forward to Rosie's shows tomorrow. Hope everyone is ok, love and hugs Alison xxx

    2. Well done Alison! 12,000 steps is a great amount with a bad knee. I think puffins are cute too, only seen them on nature shows on TV. I love that the baby birds are called Pufflings! Sounds like something that should be in Harry Potter. XX

    3. Hi Alison that's a fabulous amount of steps with your bad knee well done. I love puffins, we were so lucky to go to Staffa last year where we sat on the cliffs and the puffins flew down and sat next to us, amazing experience. Sending hugs xxx

  6. What a fabulous piece of art from Dee. Is there anything that she cannot do and excel at? Such a lovely talented lady. I am glad you have had a day to get among the blueberry out in the fresh air. You need it to recover from the shock at the weekend. I am looking forward to seeing Rosie's shows tomorrow, although I will have to watch on catch up as I am spending the day meeting up with my old school friends, which we do once each year. To avoid me being stuck in the kitchen on my own all day, I have broken the mould by booking lunch at a local village pub, followed by a posh afternoon tea at the Chateau Impney, an elaborate French style house built by a salt "baron" for his wife. It is now a hotel in beautiful grounds, used for celebrations of all kinds, as well as locations for film and tv. Hoping for good weather so we can amble round the grounds to walk off all that food. xxx Maggie

  7. Wow! That is fantastic Dee! So magical!
Glad you had a good day off Barbara! Its good for you to have some me time!
    Love and hugs xxx

  8. Wow, Dee's artwork is always stunning and I love the flying horse! Looking forward to seeing the new plates tomorrow and the samples from the DT which always blow me away. I would LOVE a Clarity bluebell stamp, or plate…or both! XX

  9. Hi Barbara
I'm glad you managed to get on your bluebell walk, it's been such a glorious day today. The love bird is still in residence then, how lovely. Our baby bluetits are getting quite loud now, poor mum and dad must be exhausted going backwards and forwards feeding them. Dee your work is stunning, you are so talented. You have such a clever design team Barbara. I will have Rosie on the kitchen table as I bake tomorrow, what a treat. I'm dropping hints about the open day as I would love to come. How lovely Alex will be joining you, she's so lovely and genuinely gets excited about the producers she sees, she's going to have so much fun.
    Love Diane xxx

  10. Deep is such a talented lady, all the DT team are amazing.
Glad to hear you had a good day after the wonderful shows on Sunday and Monday.
And then there were more plates to put on my wish list.
Just love the plates Tina has designed on Sunday beautiful.
Looking forward to the shows tomorrow will have to watch them on catch up as appointments early tomorrow.
    Hugs to all.
    Lynn xx

  11. Wow! What a fabulous piece of work from Dee, she has a phenominal talent. Glad you had a good day off and had a walk in the bluebell woods. I have seen a few here in the south west but Kent and Surrey have them in abundance, and the carpet of blue is such a wonderful colour. Looking forward to seeing Rosella tomorrow. x

  12. Lovely blog Barb. The bluebell woods have been great this year – we have several around here and our little dog loves scampering around in them! What good news that Alex is coming to Open Days – I saw her at Ally Pally and she is just as pretty off as on screen isn't she? That piece of work by Dee is really something else – what a talented and inspirational lady she is……congratulations Dee! I too am looking forward to seeing her beavering away on Open Day. X

  13. Stunning card Dee! Bluebells have been good up here too this year, so lovely and cheery. Nature is so wonderful!
