What a beautiful day………

What a beautiful day………

Hello!
Mr Perga/Burger Man again.
Twice in a month!

Barbara & Linda popped into the office earlier today
before jetting off to Slovenia for the week.

But earlier today we had a “moment”……

A few of us were having a meeting with Barbara,
adding some finishing touches to some projects,
when Brother Steve comes in and says:
“Barbara, Pete needs to speak to urgently”
Barbara replies “well tell him to come and see me”
Brother Steve says;
“no, no, you need to go and see him, it’s urgent”

So we all trundle downstairs to find
out what was wrong………

To find all the Clarity Crew gathered to
sing Happy Birthday to Barbara.

I really wish I had taken a picture, it was so funny!
We all laughed and then shared out the cake!

Today, it felt like spring is fast approaching,
what with all the laughter in the office and
a beautiful sunny day in Kent,
it really did make a difference.

Here is a pic I took of the sun setting
as I was leaving the office.

Anyway, with the sun shining and feeling warm,
I thought I would delve into the art boxes
to see what I could find………

what did I stumble upon, but the beautiful
Build-a-Wreath Collection from our
very own Linda Williams!

When we launched these beautiful plates
late last year, they were perfect for Christmas.
However, when you look at these samples,
you can see that they can be used all year through!

Here is a beautiful Wedding Card from Linda

A piece from Sylvia Marshall,
suitable for various occasions.

This piece is from Jane Telford.
Engagements, Anniversaries, Blessings

So, just because the A4 Square plates have lots of
Christmassy bits on them,
it doesn’t mean that they are just for Christmas!
Don’t forget that we also launched some
beautiful embellishment A5 Square Groovi Plates
Perfect all year through, especially the Ribbons & Bows
Well I hope that that above has given you
a bit of inspiration, it may have even made you
think about Christmas cards!!!

It is okay, I can hearing you all shouting
“It’s too early for Christmas!!!!”
Well it is never too early for Christmas,
only 287 days to go!
Right, better go, before you start throwing
things at the screen!

Have a great evening and

I will speak to you all soon!

Happy Crafting
Paul

  1. Hi Paul, thanks for the blog. That was a good surprise for Barbara, I was thinking she'd be missing out what with flying off today ! Thanks for the reminder re the heart – not that I should have needed it as I used it for a valentine for hubby! But it will come in handy again I think as an engagement card for my niece who's just announced it! Sat here trying to come up with something for hubby's 70th. I've got the carp plate in front of me. Don't worry his birthday is on Weds so I've got plenty of time …… not !!! So nice here today we sat in the garden for a cuppa this afternoon, it was so warm. Xx

  2. Hello Paul

I love your photo of the sunset. The promise of spring and summer makes one happy to be alive.

    Looking forward to Saturday.

Oh, by the way, I have made almost half my Christmas cards.

    Love
    Roz.x

  3. Hi Perga/Burger amn, oh I do look forward to the day I can say Perga/fruit and veg man!!!! What a lovely touch for all her team to gather and sing happy birthday to Barbara, made her day, I bet. Lovely samples, thank you for sharing. And as for Christmas, well it was only the other day when I was thinking, maybe if I start my Christmas makes after my latest project is finished, I'll actually have them all made on time for once!!!! So no throwing anything at you from up here! (Unless you voted for Brexit, and got us up here into a right stooshie!!! Aye, ok, say no more! It is very scary though)

Enjoy your spring weather, it's about to fast track to autumn up here tomorrow, closely followed by early winter!!!
Hope Barbara and Linda had a safe journey
    Love Brenda xx

  4. Not you too, Paul. My daughter has just informed me that she has almost finished her Christmas cards. I have not even got an ideas as yet. I am glad the travellers have got off safely and I am sure they will have a blast. The weather today has been beautiful and it has been so lovely to see and hear the little children all playing out on the island in front of our houses. It really cheers me up as did my Happy Parcel from Clarity. Lots of fun to be had there, and a load of things to do pyrography with, using Clarity stamps and stencils. Off now to play. Have a good week, Paul. xxx Maggie

  5. Hi, Paul. Thank you for the beautiful photo. It has been a beautiful day hasn't it. What a lovely surprise that must have been for Barbara. Thank you for the inspiring blog too. Xx

  6. Hi Paul, those plates are gorgeous, I got them as soon as they came out and did use them for some Christmas cards. Lovely samples you've put on here. I've done a few Christmas cards already as I thought if I do a few a month it won't be so much rush when it comes. It's been a beautiful day here too, doesn't it make you feel so much better. Hope Barbara and Linda have got to Slovenia safely and that she has had a super birthday, you all gave her a wonderful send off.xx

  7. Hi all my bloggy friends, hope you've all had the lovely sunshine and had a good day. Been up in the craft room tonight finishing off a card with the fan. Been practising the snipping picot edge and cut the fan out quite pleased with my first attempt.xx

    1. Hi Pam,
Well done, bet it's lovely. As for starting your Christmas cards, I'm gobsmacked! I've only just recovered from making last year's! Love and hugs Alison xx

    2. Hi Pam, well done with the cutting. I've been playing with colour bursts, tried painting the stamp with them to make backgrounds, I'm not convinced, perhaps they will look better when they dry! Sending hugs xxx

  8. Good evening Paul. What a gorgeous sunset. Thank you for showing us the beautiful art work. I'm going to have to invest in the rest of these wreaths x

  9. Hi Paul,
Thank you for taking your time to blog for us while Barb is away. I bet she was chuffed to bits with the little celebration. Hope they've arrived safe and sound. Love these plates, bought them all when they came out. Made quite a few cards with them and have to say that the recipients were all really pleased with them. I can't even begin to think about Christmas yet! I feel as though I've lost 3 months of this year with my stupid accident! Happy Birthday Barb if you're reading this. Love and hugs Alison xxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Glorious day here today. Dave took me up to Newcastle to buy some lights for the kitchen and while I was in John Lewis, I just had to buy new food mixer as a treat to myself! Got another Groovi card finished this afternoon and am now off for an early night. Love and hugs Alison xxx

  12. Hello Paul,
How could you, I was being lulled into a false sense of security and you mentioned the C word. Oh dear, I suppose I'd better make a start, but not just yet ha ha.
    Keep up the good work.

  13. Hi Paul. I agree with you about Spring being on its way. There's a tree across the road and there's a couple of Magpies nesting in it. Can see it very clearly as the tree has no leaves on it yet. So nice to see the birds twitter patting already.

  14. Hi Paul
Sounds like a good day for you all, that sunset is beautiful isn't it, good to see you left the office before it got dark! I hope that meant you had something other than a burger for dinner tonight!. Happy birthday Barbara, hope you had a good journey.
    Love Diane xxx

  16. Good morning! I had a bit of a busy day yesterday so having a catchup this morning!
Thank you for the reminder of how fast this year is going! Half way through March already…it's unbelievable! I'm sure I must have missed a couple of weeks somewhere along the way!
It was lovely to see some dry bright weather yesterday especially as we went for lunch by the sea!
    Have a good day all.
    Love and hugs xxxx

  17. Morning Paul, What a pity you didn't take a piccie of Barbara's Birthday get-together !! Your piccie of the sun setting is stunning, and I'm loving the piccies of the Groovi 'makes' truly gorgeous !!

  18. Belated Happy Birthday to Barbara! Paul, we won't throw things at the screen due to the " early" Christmas comment, however we may make you come and show us your shovelling skills….we are expecting more snow today.โ„
