A Kind Word…

A Kind Word…

Hi there,
Thanks for popping in.
Stop the clock!
We have just finished prepping for the
Sunday and Monday TV shows;
Paul has gone home, Dave is getting a Chinese takeaway,
and I am just winding down.
What a whirlwind of a week !
How brilliant to be able to have Friday evening
in front of a log fire with Dave,
knowing that EVERYTHING IS DONE FOR SUNDAY.
Demos? Done
Boxes? Packed and checked.
Art samples? Beautiful!
Tina? All set to go too.
Usually, I am still pedalling on Saturday afternoon!
So that means I will be able to have tomorrow off too!
Yeehaa !!!
This little card is one of the demos on the 5pm show on Sunday.
Made with a delightful little stampset,
which is perfect for so many occasions actually.
Thinking I may have over-prepped,
so if I don’t get to it, I will blog a step by step on Sunday.
It came together so quickly, and was so simple,
but I really like it.
Hahaha!
Spot the white pencilwork.
Lifetime supply abailable at Clarity!
Nice sentiment, don’t you agree?
“A Kind word is like a Spring day.”
Isn’t that a lovely analogy?
And on that very pleasant note,
I hope you have a good weekend.
I aim to!
Love & Hugs,
Barb

  1. Brilliant Barbara, team work sure makes the dream work eh, and gives you much needed and much deserved time off to chill before heading to the studio. I'm sure the shared time yesterday and today with your lovely friends Paul and Tina helped the creative flow too. Love your artwork, thank you for sharing. Aye white pencils, I think they'll be getting plenty use here too from now on!!!

Hope you and Dave have a lovely evening and Saturday just chilling and enjoying time with each other.

    Love Brenda xx

  2. You are so right about the sentiment always turn a negative into a positive with a kind word
    Beautiful artwork as always
    Enjoy your time off Barbara
I'm just going to sit and flick through my groovi catalogue love it 😍

  3. Hi Barb,
I'm really pleased for you that you have got tomorrow free, that must be a very welcome change. Hope you enjoy your takeaway and your night with Dave just chilling out. I've had a sneaky peek at the new plates and they are fabulous. My catalogues arrived today – very professional- so thank you for that and for the vouchers. Got recorder set for the shows – I can't see the word chains & alphabet lasting long mind you! Love and hugs Alison xxxx

    1. Hi bloggy friends,
Hope you've had a good day. It's now raining here although it hasn't been too bad during the day. Well I finished off my Groovi birthday card using the new poetry plates ( the outer frames on these are gorgeous) but then had to get Dave to take me through to Crafter's Companion to get some card blanks the right size. He didn't moan though as we just called in on way to the gym. Have a good weekend everyone, love and hugs Alison xxxx

    2. Hi Alison it's raining here too, miserable isn't it. How lucky are you to be near their shop, or not as I expect the credit card gets several outings!! I'm tempted by the poetry plates, they look gorgeous. Sending hugs xxx

  4. Enjoy your weekend with Dave, Barb. Looking forward to seeing all the weekend shows.
Made a very simple Groovy card yesterday for my mum's 85th birthday. Left it too late to do any white work, but I was very pleased with the design 🙂

  5. Lovely, Barbara, as always. Have a super relaxing weekend and enjoy the Chinese. I'm looking forward to your Sunday shows but my bank balance isn't!! More Groovi plates (scalloped nested set etc.) arrived this morning. They are brilliant and will get lots of use. Can't imagine life without Groovi. Best wishes to you and Dave. Xx
