Cock-a Doodle-Doo! A bloggy Sale for you!!!

Cock-a Doodle-Doo! A bloggy Sale for you!!!

Hi there!
Thanks for popping in!
It’s Tuesday and the sun is shining.
Am ticking a load a load a boxes here!
So let’s tick the Bloggy Sale Box too!
One of the most fun things we have done in a while
was the Jigsaw Puzzle.
It really is a proper jigsaw!

created by hand with stamps, just as if you were making a card – except you do your artwork on a jigsaw blank.
We sell them in packs of 16 x A5.
£10. Let’s change that to £7.50 until midnight tomorrow.
They are coated on one side,
so dye-based inks work beautifully on them.
which is just brilliant and so fun to work with.
£19.99 . Let’s change that price to £14.99 until midnight tomorrow.
Have I shown you the beautiful tin
that clever Dee made a while ago?

It has pride of place here in my little art room.
It has the same feel as the jigsaw puzzle, except it’s a tin!!
And then there was the little funky canvas I made last summer…
Gritty paint on canvas board backdrop.

This is so simple! You see?
The birds are stamped, embossed and stuck onto our sheets of double-sided adhesive before they are cut out.
Even the moon is just punched out of white card.

I think I’ll drop the price on all canvas boards today too.
If you are sitting on the fence, believe you me:
Canvas Boards are so fun to make!
We are always making cards,
but there are so many more possibilities!
So to go to our current bloggy offers,
You will find Jigsaws, Cockerel Stamps and Canvas Boards –
going for a song. xx
love and best wishes,

  1. I think this is one of my most favourite sets Barb. Loved ur canvas first time I saw it and I have recently bought the jigsaws too. Must get round to using my canvas boards too. Ooh next Month's calendar project is a canvas isn't it? Brilliant – looking fwd to getting inky. Xx

  2. Well, that makes three sets of stamps used by your good self over this past week and three I haven't as yet added any ink to; I think this suggests I'm not stamping enough!
    Loved viewing the variety of projects today. ;~}

    1. Afraid I am guilty of that as well Shelagh. I need to spend more time crafting but family needs keep calling me. Thought retirement was supposed to be rest time. xx

    2. Hello Sheila. I think I may have to start waylaying the postie! I don't need cushions so much as handcuffs behind my back! haha!.
I totally agree about the Clarity Team, nothing is ever too much trouble!
      Hugs xxx

    3. Hi Sheila – hope that you have had a good day! No crafting for me today, tired after my visit to have bloods and BP taken. I still managed to borrow your cushions and got something sorted out at Clarity Towers today! Many special hugs from Gilly xxx

    4. Hi Sheila. Not a good day today. Woken at approx 1.15am by mum calling for help – she had fallen down the stairs. Her face took the brunt of the impact – she has broken the bones around her eye socket and broken her cheek bone and has lacerations to her cheek and eye lid. Have spent all last night and today at A&E, just got home, absolutely exhausted. Time for bed I think! Best wishes to all, Sue

    5. Oh sue hope the hospital keep her in and give you a rest they can then asses her for a care home I know it will be very hard for this to happen but it will be for the best for you and for her it's a very hard to do but you must think of you as it will never get easy get some sleep dear blog friend I really feel it for you sleep hugs you need them xxx

    6. I've done too much today( I finish my April calendar challenge and don't think it is good enough to enter and I can not make another as its too much for me to do again )so I'm suffering now so in bed so my body can recover I know it's my own fault for trying too hard so a few days rest I think my granddaughter is comming tomorrow afternoon so I know she will say I have to rest bless her .xxx

    7. Oh Sheila! I'm so sorry to hear that you have overdone it – what are we like? Will we ever learn? Probably not – try not to be too hard on yourself. Look at it again another day, when you are feeling better – then decide if it might just be ok. We are all our own biggest critics! I will be resting with you tomorrow – my blood pressure is lower than it was a couple of weeks ago, but still too high. I think that maybe it is due to me worrying about Hubby, I thought that I was handling it all really well, but perhaps not. I will just have to keep trying my best. Lets compare notes tomorrow, after a restful day. Many caring hugs from Gilly xxx

    8. Oh Sue, what a time of it you're having. I'm glad you've managed to leave and come home to sleep. Hopefully you'll sleep well, knowing your mum is in safe hands and receiving round the clock care. Maybe it's a wee blessing in disguise, as now she is in hospital they can't ignore your situation and will have to assess her and work out with you what help is available and what is best for you both. Please don't let them ignore your situation, stand your ground and make sure you now get the assessments and options of what's available. It seems we need to shout out and keep shouting out until they know we are not going away for anything to happen. I know, I kept quiet for months, no one came near me, and now that they have nothing's happening! So please make yourself be heard, keep at them, and if you have any other family, or friends who can speak for you too, I know that helps to get you heard. Take care, love Brenda xx

    9. Yes Sue, Brenda is quite right. It's what my sister and I had to do for our Mum – bless her! It's a few years ago now – but it still hurts to think what she went through! Take care, love Gilly xx

    10. Sheila, at least you've overdone it doing something nice, that's today's positive. And your granddaughter coming tomorrow is something nice that doesn't need you to do anything, that's tomorrow's positive. I still can't get past doing chores/jobs and having anything left for crafting! Remember 2 steps forward and one back, it's just another step on your road back to a better quality of life xx

    11. Hi Sheila I'm sure when you look at it again you will see what needs doing. Have a lovely time with your granddaughter tomorrow xxx
Hi Sue I'm sorry to hear your mum has had such a bad fall, I hope they have kept her in hospital so you can get some rest. I hope you can get a care package sorted for the sake of your health, it's hard but you must look after yourself. Sending you a hug xx

  7. Just ordered the leafy swirls and netting Groovi and somehow the Groovi texture plate slipped in too plus some more stencil card! I would love to have a go at canvas but have spent too much already. Can I make an advance plea for loads of blogs of your next shows' demos please. I believe Hochanda will be off air and we will have two small grandsons visiting next week so I may not get chance to watch the shows even on catch up. Thanks for all the inspiration xx

    1. Hi Chris,
What a great idea – not sure Barb will agree though. I'm wondering how yo watch the shows as my iPad seems to be freezing right left and centre – wishing I hadn't downloaded the latest software as apparently that's the problem!. Love Alison xxx

    2. Oh Alison I hope not as I've just downloaded the new software today on my I pad I watch hochanda on free sat though so that shouldn't change xx

    3. Can you get google chrome on your ipads? Apparently Hochanda works better on that browser, although not checked it out for myself yet. I'm not holding out much hope for me viewing on my laptop either as I know how bad the buffering and freezing gets when trying to watch online when it's busy. It's going to be even worse with all of us freeview viewers added in. But at least it's temporary, we'll just have to get our Barbara fix here for the next 6 weeks xx

  8. Oh Barbara, you lovely temptress you! The rooster set was in big letters on my wish list, so I just could not let such a bargain pass. Thank you again. What a fabulous tin, and I love the idea of the 3D.

  9. Hello Brenda, Alison, Diane, Gilly, Pam and all of my lovely blog friends. I have to admit to feeling a little guilty at the moment…I've just got no willpower!!! But I know it won't take long to wear off heeheehee!
I hope you are all having a good day and getting a little crafting in. Big Hugs xxx

    1. Hello Morag , it's hard trying to be good isn't it. I think the worst bit is waiting for our goodies to arrive and trying not to stalk the postman! Enjoy your parcels when they arrive. Xx

  10. Lovely canvas, I really like these birds and the canvas is great. I cannot spend at the moment, would love to though. I really want and need some of the new groovi items. Dee is so talented , beautiful tin. xx

  11. Hi, Well that has brightened up my day today – have placed my order for the Cockerel and a few extra bibs and bobs to make up to the value of my Voucher. Very cold and wet here today.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and love from the wonderful blogging friends. A bit better today. However have to face calling Mum this afternoon and find out how she is getting on…. it was a bad day yesterday for her – but need to be positive that today is better. 🙂

    Crafty hugs Pen x

    1. Hi Pen, so sorry you had a really bad day yesterday. Glad it's not so bad for you today, even a little better makes a huge difference when things are so tough and sad and one thing after another. I know that well, even though it's different reasons for me. Keep fighting through each day, or even split it into parts of a day. That's what I'm needing to do just now. Don't give up, I'm sure there will be light at the end of the tunnel for you. Try to really pay attention to anything good/non bad every day, even if it's the feel of the sun on you, something little you see out your window, hearing the birds singing, or the kids laughing outside. And then keep taking your mind back to it as the day goes on. My if all else fails one just now is that winter is over, spring and summer and the goodness that brings is about to arrive. I don't manage it every day but then I try again the next, and the next, can't give up. What else have you found good or non bad so far today? If you would like we could tell each other here every day what good bit we found? Mine today so far is (don't laugh) but it really did sound like Daisy was saying thank you to me, not the words obviously but the 2 wee squeeks certainly sounded like the overall sound of thank you!!!!! And daft me responded by saying to her "you're welcome"!!!
How did your call go with your mum?
      take care, love Brenda xx

    2. Hi Pen – I hope that things went better for you today, when you called your Mum. I know only too well how difficult making that call can be! Sending you positive thoughts – Gilly xxx

    3. Hi Pen,
I hope today has been better for you and that your Mam was ok when you called I know it would be hard for you. Sending love and hugs, Alison xxx

    4. Hi pen it was lovley to read you had got chance to spend your voucher on the lovley cockerels and it helped you through today hope the call with your mum went as well hugs to help you through xxx

  12. Hello Pen, you try and stay positive my friend. I'm so pleased you're feeling a bit better. You can only do your best for your Mum, which you obviously are doing. You have to think of you too. sending big hugs xx

  13. Excellent offers for me today – thank you, I have a pile of canvasses in the top of the wardrobe so I'd better give them a miss but the stamps and jigsaws heaven sent! I won't have to improvise with next months calendar challenge ! Xx

  14. Hi Barbara, sounds like you're chilling out weekend has sorted out your washing machine head a bit, letting you get lots of boxes ticked today. So pleased to hear it. And thank you once more for yet another extremely generous bloggy offer. These stamps are on my want/need list. It was colouring them in to look so bright and brilliant that was putting me off, wouldn't know where to start. But Zebedee here, going to add them to the offers from yesterday that I've still to order, might have a wee go at the jigsaws too, something a bit different for special cards. Canvases, hmmm, do I confess, I bought a selection when you had a sale of them last year, put them in a cardboard box, and I can see the box still sat there, not been opened! Again it's where to start, I had thought I could build up to it, but obviously not even got onto the first rung of that ladder. I guess here is where I should be saying 'yet'!!!! So I better not buy any more canvasses eh!

Love all the artwork and the tin. The art/colours makes me a wee bit better inside when I see them. That makes no sense but somehow it does.

Sun has just come out again, and is shining right on me, that's number 2 good thing for today.
    love Brenda xx

    1. Just finished doing some of my canvas, now I have to be patient and wait for it to dry………
I got some canvases last year and have only done one, so this canvas is number two. I do love the arty feel.
Right just off to give my grunge paste a poke to see if its dry! XX

    2. Hi Brenda – hope that you are having a better day today. It certainly sounds as though you are thinking positive! Well done you! Take care, hugs from Gilly xxx

    3. Evening Brenda glad ma flinging worked pictured you and Daisy in ma mind raking in the bushes made me smile had visitors yesterday so catching up double cuddle the night love Dot..xx

    4. Thank you everyone xx
Donna, do you not listen to anything oor Barbara tells us, leave it to dry, no poking to check!!!! xx
My speciality with all craft these days Jackie!!!xx
Dot, I'll see if I can have a go at recording a bit of Barbara's shows on the laptop this weekend. If it works I'll tell you how so you can for future shows. cuddles back xx

    5. Hello Brenda
Order those lovely stamps and crack open those posh pencils and get colouring – you know you can do it 🙂 isn't Daisy clever saying thank you to you, what a lovely furry friend. Sending hugs xxx

  15. Hello Barbara. I have these stamps, bought them at your open day last year! I love them. I got them to make my daughter's birthday card. Sadly, I can't attach a photo as I can't work out how to do that. 😒😘

  16. Oh dear, you are such a temptress Barbara Gray, I had made my mind up that I wasn't going to spend any more on myself for a while and you reduce the price of a stamp set I really like, still life's too short to worry and my order is in xx

  17. Hi Barbara – such beautiful vibrant art today! Dee's tin is amazing – no wonder it has pride of place. I am not tempted today, as you got me yesterday and today I spoke to Paul and this afternoon I became a new member of your Groovi Club! Would have been silly not to! Gilly xxx

    1. Hi Sheila – had bloods taken ok, but my blood pressure is still too high, so I will have to go back. Not felt too well today, so rested this afternoon. I did manage to join the Groovi Club though!! I am going to treat myself to a couple of baby plates – when I decide which ones to have. Hugs Gilly xxx

  18. Hi Alison, Diane, Pam, Dot, Sue57, Chris M, Julia and anyone that I might have forgotten – thank you for all of your wonderful comments yesterday (this obviously includes my blog friends higher up the page that I have already left a comment with)! They were all such a big help to me, and have now officially announced that today I became a new member of the Groovi Club!! Yay!! I can't wait to get my package, and am now deciding which baby plates to order first! Oops!! Looks like I shall be needing to borrow those cushions of yours again soon Sheila!! I hope that your weather today has been better than ours – we have had prolonged wintry showers today and it's been quite cold too! Love and hugs to you all – Gilly xxx

    1. Yeah! Well done Gilly! You'll love the club- wait till you see the dinky plate mate. I think Sheila will need lots more cushions, if she's going to be lending them to us all! Love Alison xx

    2. I think we will need the trampoline out if we all keep bouncing up and down while Barbara's on her sale days with all our cushions scattered around for all the CCA 'S to borrow happy shopping xxx

  19. Hi to everyone in Clarity Blogland. Love these stamps Barb. You really are spoiling us with all these offers. Just had another vet bill today so my coffers are empty for crafting goodies at the moment. If this load of tablets doesn't do the trick we are into x-rays and MRI scan territory – ££££££££££££. Still I can't really complain as my Jack has been on this earth 12 years and only had the odd ear infection in all that time. Been a mixed day of sunshine and showers here in North Yorkshire we missed all that terrible wind that the south of the country got. Going to try and snatch a bit of crafting time this evening if my Jack settles down with his new pain killers and just might have a nap. Starting to think I should get hold of an old pram for him to sit next to me in whilst I craft. Might sound daft but I will try anything if it will get me back into my craft room! Much love Jayne

    1. Hi Jayne – so sorry to hear about Jack – bless him! I hope that the new pain killers do the trick and actually it doesn't sound daft at all – getting a pram for him sounds an excellent idea! Hugs Gilly xxx

    2. Hi Jayne, hope the new painkillers are starting to kick in for poor Jack. They are such a worry aren't they. Scamp is snuggled in to me on the couch at the moment and is doing well but I still worry about her. I just wish she could manage to hit the litter tray instead of having her bum hanging over the edge bless her,( sorry to anyone having their tea at the moment!!) sending love and hugs to you and big gentle cuddles from Scamp and I to Jack., love Alison xxx

    3. I hope the painkillers do the trick. I too understand how awful it is when our furry friends are not well. I was really worried with Daisy and all she had was wee hard spots on her ear, which are taking ages to go, but do appear to be. If only they could tell us eh. Hope you both get a good sleep xx

  20. Hi Barb,
Love, love, love the cockerel set. They are so versatile. Really looking forward to trying the canvas for April's challenge. Dee's tin is fabulous, she is so talented and I can see why you treasure it. You have been so generous with all of the blog offers too, so a massive thank you foe those. Love and hugs, Alison xxx

  21. Oh heck I need to borrow some cushions -I 'want' the jigsaws and one of the canvas board sets, just need to decide whether to go for the squares or the A's. I've got the stamps…phew. Me and the cat have been in the back room, she has been chasing the sunny spots and I have been making backgrounds – inks, salt, colour bursts. I need them for backgrounds for my parchment creations. I've split open a poly pocket and I've got my spectrum aquas and spritzer ready to do more.

    1. Aye Dot, a week off work this weak and the ironing is piling up, all I want to do is craft. I don't think there is any point doing the ironing as the clothes will just get worn again and need ironed again!

  22. Evening Barbara glad you are managing to tick some of your wee boxes and also show us some lovely art and oh bloggy sales.
Got a few wee Clarity orders in so the postie is going to be busy up my way but nae rush I for one won't moan worth waiting on.
    Take care..Love Dot xx

  23. Hello Barbara
Don't you just love ticking things off on your list, I always add a couple of things I know I can easily achieve to get you off to a good start! The artwork you have produced with these stamps is lovely, the canvas is fab and oh boy Dee's tin is amazing!! I'm resisting at the moment but it's a long time to midnight tomorrow 🙂
    Take care
    Love Diane xx

  24. The cockerel and mate are beautifully designed and the bright colours suit them admirably Barbara. The jigsaw and the canvas using them are gorgeous too, and adore that tin that Dee did. Thank you for these great offers. x

  25. Hello Barb, you are so generous with these offers, thank you. The jigsaws are a great item, and these stamps are brilliant. What a pity I have to lay off craft purchases for a while. The tin Dee created has just inspired me, she is so talented. Have a great day. Bx
