Christmas Angels & A Little Bit of Clarity!

Hi there!

Well, here we are… 79 days to Christmas! 🎄

I know, I know — it seems a little early to be talking about Christmas, but we crafters know only too well how quickly those weeks disappear!

So, today I thought I’d bring you some lovely angel inspiration from the ArtRoom. There’s something so special about angels at Christmas, and they make beautiful cards whether you like your designs soft and delicate or a little more dramatic.

I’ve been having a look through some of the wonderful angel projects we’ve created, and there are lots of ideas to share with you.

So, let’s take a look…

The 3D Angel

One of my favourites has to be Linda’s 3D Angel Groovi Plate.

I love the way you can create something that has real dimension and presence, rather than simply a flat angel on a card. There are so many possibilities for colouring, embossing and decorating her, too.

And, of course, once you’ve made your angel, you don’t have to stop there…

Why not use the same plate to create some beautiful Christmas cards?

Here are just a few examples to get those creative juices flowing.

Beautiful aren’t they? All made with this ingenious Groovi plate, designed by Linda Williams.

The card inspiration

I absolutely love seeing how differently the same design can look just by changing the colours, backgrounds and embellishments.

You could keep things traditional with pretty Christmas colours, go for icy blues and silvers, or add a lovely touch of sparkle for that extra bit of Christmas magic.

And the wonderful thing about these designs is that they can be as simple or as detailed as you want.

There really is no right or wrong way to create your angel.

Just have fun with it!

Angel Groovi Kit

If you’ve fallen in love with these angels, you might also like the Angel Groovi Kit Bundle.

It’s a lovely way to get started and includes everything you need to create three different angel projects, so there’s plenty to keep you busy.

And wouldn’t these make gorgeous handmade Christmas gifts, too?

There’s something rather special about giving somebody a card or project that you’ve created yourself. ❤️

Bringing it back to you

So, what do you think?

Angels are certainly shaping up to be our Clarity Christmas theme this year!

I hope these projects have given you a little inspiration and perhaps encouraged you to dig out your Groovi plates and start thinking about those Christmas cards.

And talking of digging things out…

I’m still enjoying our time in San Francisco, so there’s certainly no art-room sorting happening here just yet! 😂. I’ll have plenty of time to get back to that when I’m home — and believe me, it really does need doing!

As I always say…

If you don’t like it, CHANGE IT!

Although I’m not sure that applies to my art room anymore… I think I need a complete intervention! 😂

See you soon!

Love and Clarity,

Barb xxx
