Oh yes he is!

Oh yes he is!

Oh no he’s not!!

We’re off to the Tunbridge Wells panto with all the kids this afternoon. Sleeping Beauty takes centre stage this year, and I’m really looking forward to it. We do love a good panto, us Brits, don’t we? Such a joyful way to stretch the Christmas festivities just a little further – laughter, silliness, and shouting at the stage very much encouraged.

And while we’re talking about festive cheer, you may have noticed that our BIG Boxing Day Sale launched yesterday at Clarity. There are savings of up to 60% off, with club discounts on top, and it runs until 5th January. So if there’s something you’ve had your eye on for a while, now might be a rather nice moment to treat yourself.

One last little reminder before I dash out: if you sign up to, or resubscribe to, one, two or all three of our Clarity Clubs in full before the end of the year (that’s Wednesday 31st), you’ll receive double loyalty points on your subscription.

So the order of play is simple enough:
join or renew your club, collect your points, then head off shopping – with your club discount added on top of the sale discount.

Right. Shoes on, coats grabbed… and it’s panto time. Oh yes it is. 😊

Love and Clarity

If you’re a bit rudderless today, then why not make a card for a friend, or someone you love, or someone you miss? I think I will do that later, after the panto. I know just the person who will love to receive a nice, card and affectionate letter in January. In fact, I can think of two … Cards made already here. I just need to write the insides x x x

  5. Hi Barbara,
Have a brilliant time at the Panto, we went the week before Christmas in Bristol, we saw Jack and the Beanstalk. We always go to the matinee because it is made extra special because there are infant/junior schools in the audience. It’s so lovely to see how involved they get. Even though we are all in our 60’s you can’t help but carried away in the atmosphere.
    xXx

  6. Love a panto. Haven’t seen one in years though. Two beautiful cards Barbara. Have a lovely time with the children.xx

  7. Love a panto! It’s very British and totally bonkers !
The person who decided to show the other clubs on the club worksheet was genius. I saw the stamp in my stencil club package and it made me rejoin the stamp club (and double points too) . Sue and Jilly sorted me out and looking forward to another year. (Although I have been in the Groovi Club there are not enough hours in the week and since I am naturally a messy crafter it’s the one club I could let pass me by)
Have a brilliant time and remember “it’s behind you”…….

  8. Enjoy your trip to the Panto. As a child in the 50s we always went to Liverpool Empire to the panto, this was a great adventure for a child from North Wales. As soon as the orchestra struck up for the overture the excitement would build right up…and then all the interaction with actors onstage. Many years later my husbands Christmas present to me was always tickets to a LondonTheatre to watch a musical….And still I got that thrilling excitement when the overture played…it really stirred all the old memories. Now I am fortunate enough to have introduced my grandchildren to the magic of theatre, I will never forget the joy and tears When I saw my grandaughter wonder at the magic of Lion King, Priceless.
Well thanks Barb for the trip down Memory lane it’s good to reminisce Asan older lady in my 80s. Love to you all Anniexxx

  9. Enjoy, become a kid for just a few hours.
Last Panto I saw was 70 years ago with my dad’s company outing just for kids , can’t remember what it was, too busy keeping an eye on 5 year old baby sister. Those were the days though, mostly fun and laughter.
    Have a wonderful time.

  10. Hi Barb, I have only ever seen panto once, and I loved it. Hope you enjoy it. Love your two cards. Need to get some crafting done before going back to work in the New Year, must try find where my mojo has disappeared to. Bx
