13 Days To Christmas – New Christmas Art Nouveau Groovi

13 Days To Christmas – New Christmas Art Nouveau Groovi

Hi there!

TGIF!! It will be good to slow down and get the house ready for when the kids come home next week.

Paul did a cracking job on Hobbymaker with these 3 brand new smashing Groovi plates. I drew them as stamps a while ago, and now we’ve made them into Groovi. FIND HERE

They sit beautifully alongside the Art Nouveau Collection we already have. I’ve long admired the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and it was a real pleasure to create these designs as a gentle nod to his distinctive style and spirit.

And just a little heads-up too – from tomorrow, I’m going to ease off plugging products in the 100-day to Christmas countdown. Instead, I’d love to use this space to share other bits and pieces: the odd recipe, a competition or two, stories from behind the scenes, and a few thoughts straight from the heart. It feels like the right time to slow the pace a little and make the countdown about connection, creativity and enjoying the season, rather than simply selling.

Don’t worry – all the products, launches and offers will still be there, just shared in their own proper places. This little corner is simply going to become a warmer, more reflective part of our Christmas journey together. Crafting is at the heart of what we do — but it’s not the whole story, is it?

Love and clarity

  1. I enjoyed the first of Paul’s shows: the second one’s recorded. The new A6 plates are lovely and the DT artwork shown for the other plates where beautiful as always.
I’m looking forward to the next installments you’ve got planned for this ‘ere blog.
Your last couple of sentences sums up what you are all about.

  2. These new plates are lovely!
Looking forward to what you have planned for the blog – sounds great!

We still have lots of boxes to unpack and loads of stuff to bring over – starting to panic a bit, we don’t have much time left – oh yes, and then there’s Christmas in the middle of it all………!!!
    And breathe…….

  3. Watched Pauls first show, and mainly listened to his second, as I was trying to open a bag of dog kibble and the bag was winning! I’m also a fan of Rennie mackintosh and have the floral set in Groovi and a couple of the dies. Lovely art from the DT. The new designs look fab. xx

  4. Will have to watch on catch up as have only just got home from our daughters PHD graduation ceremony. A very long day but so worth it. Definitely time to slow down a bit now.

  5. Slowing down sounds a wonderful idea but I am not sure that is going to happen. 99% of cards are in the post & neighbours cards are ready to be delivered. Plan to wrap presents tomorrow so I know we are ready for the big day. Then I can carry packing none essential stuff as our flat purchase is held up by the probate office adding an extra character to an email address so the New Year will be one big scramble to get everything done by 18 January. I am starting to make a list of things that need to be done and what order but I am not going to stress about it because that won’t help. Groovi stash will be at hand till the last minute so I can switch off and craft.
Next week will soon be here so switch off and enjoy having the family home for Christmas although I am looking forward to the recipes etc.

  6. Looking forward to catching up with everything. Also a reflective blog. Been busy with medical procedures and dental work. Be good to seek comfort in some Clarity artwork and demos.

  7. Slow down is definitely on my calendar, half way through my chemo, not feeling too bad. Can’t believe Christmas is coming up so fast but we plan a quiet peaceful 12 days.
Now i am no longer flat on my back I’ve started crafting again and it is such a pleasure
Ordered the new plates, a good addition to the other.Rennie Mackintosh plates.

  8. These are beautiful. I have the original plates and stamps but need to get them out and play while watching on catchup. It will be nice to calm down together. Much love xXx 🦋💕
