52 days to Christmas – Twas the Night Printed Parchment

Hi there

Twas the Night. Remember this collection of illustrated verses? The poem was actually written over 100 years ago, by Clement-Clarke Moore. Most of us know it. The poem is very dear to my heart, mostly because dear Grace used to read it to us on Christmas Eve, when she was a nipper. So, over a period of many years, I drew around several of the verses, until it grew into a proper little story book.

We made them into stamps,

then Groovi plates…

They’ve become somewhat of a Clarity Collector’s Classic.

Now we have printed them in black on coloured designer parchment, ready for you to add your magic too…

We’ve even rustled up a little blank journal booklet, for you to build a family keepsake in. Of course, this little top quality booklet is ideal for many of your projects, from mini-make gallery books and daily thoughts, sketches & reflections to little bite-size photo albums.

Great little Christmas project at a great price.

It’s like stamping perfectly on parchment every time! The parchment is 4×4 inches, to there’s planty of room to add parchment frames or die cut. Check out some lovely art samples from our clever team…

It’s MINI MAKES MONDAY!

Join Paul and myself this afternoon at 2pm on Clarity Social TV ( find us on Claritycrafts Facebook/ Claritycrafts YouTube channel / our website claritycrafts.com), and let us show you a few tricks on how to use and work with these lovely prints.

In the meantime, let’s draw some hips n haws in the SHAC at 10am! See you there! Oh. And I said I’ll show you how to draw a little face on those wooden heads we used on the angels yesterday. Personally, I like them with no face. But there have been a couple of requests, so let’s have a go! Let’s see if we can make them pretty.

Love and clarity,

  1. Lots to see and consider today on telly. I have the stamps and Groovi and have spent many hours using them. May have to start sitting on my hands if there are many more new things coming out before Christmas.

  2. Oh I love these! I was sitting on my hands, but they are slowly creeping towards the clarity page to order them! The small book is a good size too as I don’t like large pages! Too much to fill at one go!haha.

  3. Love these stamps and having them already printed onto designer parchment is a winner for both stampers and parchers. See you later in the Shac xxx

  4. Morning Barb, well this is another winner then, love the idea of the printed parchment as a card maker. Am trying to join the Shac this morning, as well as watching this afternoon. Enjoy the shows everyone. Bx

  5. Wow Clarity have done it again !! I love how the products have evolved over the years adding each craft so there is something for everyone.
I may have to sit on my hands though before my husband explodes when he sees how much more craft stuff there is still to move. I have assured him that my new craft room will have elastic walls & everything will fit but I am beginning to think he may be right so there may have to be some more down sizing as I unpack the boxes when we eventually move into the flat.
Looking forward to a couple of hours today to chill out & craft & not be packing boxes. I sometimes think when you have somewhere to be at a certain time you get more done – well that is my theory !!

  6. When the Groovi plates came out I bought them and made my granddaughters a book with them all in. I decorated it and put an inscription from me on it. They are teenagers now but it still comes out every Christmas Eve. It’s very special to them.

  7. These look great, but for now will go onto my wish list, while I firmly sit on my hands for a little while!! Enjoyed your 2pm show. xx
